What do you like best about the product?
Being in the field, you do not have to carry folders and drawings with you where ever you go. You are able to access all drawings and submittals via cell phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seem to be syncing issues with our scheduling software. It doesn't automatically update as it should all of the time. There have been issues with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps track the status of open submittals and RFI's. When something is past due it clearly shows on the dashboard on every project.

Procore Does it All!

What do you like best about the product?
I value the ability to run all my projects from a central web-based hub. We can manage document revisions quickly and efficiently and ensure that our field supervision is working with the latest and most current information. Love the ability to manage our progress meeting agendas, minutes, & schedule updates through Procore's meeting tool. Distribution of updated information to team members is quick and easy using the project directory and email tools. The photos tool has been invaluable for us as well as our clients saving us trips out to the job site and allowing us to run more work with the team we have in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to add some of the tools that come with the financial and safety toolboxes a la carte. It would allow us to obtain the additional tools we need to maximize what Procore can do for our business without spending significant money on other tools that we're not likely to utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing a structure for construction documentation that has been absent as architectural firms provide less and less structure on their end. We can track drawing revisions seamlessly and ensure the field isn't working from outdated drawings. It's also providing a way to get our documentation back from the field in real-time and without them having to print and deliver their paperwork to the office. It also allows us to process a huge volume of submittals promptly so we can begin procuring products much quicker than we did before. We also enjoy the punch list tool which allows us to get punch items to the assigned companies in real-time and then Procore does all the reminding until they've completed their punch lists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Contact Procore to negotiate a rate to run some test projects through the software and see what it does to your productivity and your grasp of your projects. If you find that it's beneficial, I recommend making it a one-stop shop for running all of your projects. The app is great for field use and the web-based interface is fast/efficient when you're working at your desk. It's expensive, but it's a great product that should replace multiple full-time employees and allow fewer PM's & superintendents to run more work.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that I can access the system wherever I am and with ease. I don't have to enter multiple software programs to see my data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inconsistency between tools, but those are being improved all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore has created a solution that both I, the Owner, and the Subcontractor can work in to be efficient and have adequate access to project documents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice would be to sit through the demonstration and then talk with users like myself who are comparable to either your company or what you want to accomplish with the product. I've found that has been most helpful to many.

Great product that goes a long way

What do you like best about the product?
Procore has been a seamless construction management tool that helped me facilitate all facets of a project from pre-con through the course of construction. It has been such a useful tool for me as a APM/Assistant Super in both front and back-end paperwork and document control as well as field use. Project onboarding, submittals, RFIs, document control for meetings, plans etc all in one easy-to-use location. It's a breeze to navigate and if you're struggling you can use their built-in Procore courses or reach out to anyone in their customer service department. The courses are short and sweet and the customer service team responds to help requests quickly. I fear the day I ever leave my current company and end up somewhere that doesn't utilize Procore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only downside is it seems like a lot to take in right off the bat. There's so much that can be done with Procore that it takes some time to get used to but having the Procore courses available can easily help mitigate the amount of time it takes to get comfortable with this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore helps keep all my documents in one place and flow seamlessly from team member to team member. I deal a lot with the submittal and RFI process so having all my files in an easy-to-track system and all in one easily accessible area removes the need to have tons of files on my computer.

Excellent Platform and Great Support

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive. In addition. Procore is actively providing better tools through testing and communication to users allowing users to provide input to better the platform. The online dedicated support is something that sets them apart from other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve (although very small) with the platform, but that is true for every new platform. The other "possible" dislike is there are a lot of tools that make this platform very powerful; you must have a detailed implementation plan to roll out effectively otherwise your team will be overloaded with tools. I feel it is better to have this problem than having a platform that cannot support your operational needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is solving the office-to-field communication issue by providing real-time information between the two. Tools such as the Drawing Tool and Submittal Tool make clear, concise communication much easier by having various technologies put the most current information front and center while still allowing access to historical data to see how we arrived at the current data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk with their team about Procore's capabilities and how it can help solve some of your problems. I have found ways to use Procore outside of my initial thought process.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore combines all the different processes of the construction and simplifies communication in a way that cannot be understated. From collecting daily manpower to tracking submittals and RFI's, Procore streamlines all the processes to make management efficient in order to spend your time where it matters, with the people who are doing the building.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to tweak permissions can get a bit cumbersome in order to have a subcontractor utilize Procore, while limiting there access to the whole project. I have also worked with Procores team in order to make daily logs easier to duplicate in order to save time on filling in the same information everyday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is making day to day tasks more effecient and trackable. Which allows organization of communication and documentation effortless. This allows me to spend time on other problems that need to be solved on the jobsite.

Worth your time for the cost.

Document consolidation. Easy to access phots
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore needs a better project management tool like a Monday.com to integrate into their system. Microsoft PM is to not the best program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidation of Construction documents. Central place for everything. We are looking into the budget module and slowly but surely learning more. So far we really like it.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I enoy the most about Procore is the intuitiveness and ease of use. When it does come up that there is something I am not familiar with, I'm about to use the "?" tool to find a relevant tutorial.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I would look to have changed with Procore is the ability to use Finanical tools from a mobile device. Maybe it could be from a view only perspective but there have been many times when I've needed to reference a Change Order in the field and been unable to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Procore for a few years now and they are always streamlining processes to their system. It makes using the software that much more enjoyable and quick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are trying to manage a project without Procore good luck! Go for Procore!

What do you like best about the product?
Procore's user interface is superior to any other application I've seen or used. It's effortless to navigate, and it doesn't take long to discover what you need. Additionally, it is very participatory, with features such as the capacity to add remarks on drawings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of Procore's user interface can make it hard to do certain things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As part of the change order management process, a tool for determining what has changed in the revised drawings. By doing so, the procedure is more efficient and more practical.
