Procore REVIEW
What do you like best about the product?
To have everyone working and exchanging information at the same place. The workflows are easy to work with and there are a lot of plugins that can facilitate working throw the plateform. And everyone has the latest information at the tip of his fingers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore needs a lot of love and maintenance. So as an employer we need to have people that manage full time the platform. It's a lot of work but it's worth it for big scale project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization, we can concentrate, store, organize and manage big junk of information and share it with specific users. We can identify technical problems or conflicts and share them quickly with the people that matter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is for companies that are ready to make the shift and invest a lot of time to first understand what you can do with it and then personalize it.
3rd year user
What do you like best about the product?
Great tracking tool for submittal process. Financial snapshot of the project with the budget tool. Good tool for daily tracking of field progress on the project. Easy to have pictures of the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email communication using the mobile App. Change order process is tedious and redundant. Having to purchase multiple platforms to completely use the program. Update changes without any training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of job progress for both the office and the field crew. Better ability to find pictures and daily progress for the jobs in the field. Easy to see where the job is at in its completion progress.
Procore is a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is a great tool for organizing project files and sharing them among team members. Having the project drawings and specifications in the palm of your hands at all times
What do you dislike about the product?
very little that I dislike about Procore - it requires proper set up like all tools and it does come at a cost to the project. but it is worth it in the long run
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Procore has reduced our paper plans consumption, less plotting. We have also freed up server space by having all project information uploaded and accessible to all team members on the cloud
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out and utilize Procore CSM to help answer your questions
Procore is a powerful project management software
What do you like best about the product?
The compatible modules that interact with each other, i.e. photos, schedules, punch lists. Ease of attaching digital files to contracts, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Invoice module has issues with bouncing display on longer schedules of values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of documents via emails and balls in court.
Project Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and cloud access and ability to manage remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
To many overpriced add-on options that limit some of the functions without having to spend an absorbent amount of money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Field employees having access to most up to date info.
Helpful Tool for Document Management
What do you like best about the product?
Bidding module, Submittal and RFI modules are very easy to use. Easy to log in emails from outside sources to keep track of.
What do you dislike about the product?
No RFI Function in the Bidding module. The meeting minutes section is very clunky and hard to use if you have any deviation from a very formatted meeting which for field meetings is rarely the case. There should be options for the type of meeting formal, field, daily, etc. Too many granular permissions it is not intuitive to find out how to do certain things because they are buried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document tracking, keeping responsible parties on time with due dates and reminders. Insurance certificate tracking is great for managing Subcontractor's expiring insurances.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very helpful in drawing and document management. Bidding tool is easy to use and keeps track of bids easily.
User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Instructional Videos are very intuitive and make it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The change order module. I find there are many unnecessary steps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Photos and daily logs have proven to be very useful. Allows realtime updates to the project manager

I am a Project Manager within ProCore.
What do you like best about the product?
My primary reason for my answer regarding ProCore would be the overlay of all the drawing set(s), but then also the ability to break all of the drawings out for other purposes. Then secondly I enjoy having all of my other documents in my specific file structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that we were able to function better within the drawings on the computer. In fact, I use my iPad to look at plans even though I am in the office. Secondly, I would prefer that everything was within ProCore instead of having 3rd party applications in order to sync information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ProCore has wonderful tech support. Specifically setting up custom budgets and reports. I have received wonderful attention to my issues(s) and getting resolutions through the chats that I've had.
I'm a project manager
What do you like best about the product?
Submittals. The submittals system keep tracking and storing all responses from different parties including the owner and architect, the whole consultant team, very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is good so far. I haven't feel anything bad about Procore. I do have some questions, but it is easy to get in touch with Procore technician. Problems have been solved in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore has a very good submittal tracking system. It reduces the response time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very good construction software.
GREAT SOFTWARE THAT KEEPS IMPROVING
What do you like best about the product?
The best is the customer service in my humble opinion. The "live chat" feature has never let me down, the prompt help to troubleshoot any "project manager dilemma" is priceless. PROCORE provides me with an expert to help me out of a jam on the spot, every time without fail.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an incredible amount of flexibility built into PROCORE. If your company does not have a clear operations procedure it can lead to some level of chaos trying to figure out how to utilize the program. I feel every company should have someone with operational and accounting expertise, to set up and maintain PROCORE (templates, procedures, training etc) that caters specifically to your company, at that point some of the additional unused features need to be turned off to simplify and streamline the processes.
*Bonus dislike - schedule module I feel is currently the weakest link. We create and maintain schedules outside of PROCORE that we upload and display to users. The PM should be able to create and maintain a schedule all inside PROCORE, which would be very impressive (not to mention $$$ saved not having to rely on external software licenses).
*Bonus dislike #2 - submittal builder feature from specifications not working. Perhaps the issue is rooted in the specs written by Architects not being formatted in a PROCORE friendly fashion, how can this ever be fixed?

Construction project management "day to day" is centralized - it provides all the tools i need to project manage any size construction project quite efficiently (submittals, instructions, rfi's, change orders, budget forecast etc). Gone are the days of clunky Microsoft spreadsheets that we used to handle those tasks. I find that I can keep up with the admin of a 50million $ job without a project coordinator to handle these tasks (though it's always nice when a PC does them)
