Great Software
What do you like best about the product?
The organization that Procore provides as a whole for very large construction projects. Drawings, RFI's, Submittals and the Financial Tools make keeping up with any project a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AIA payapp needs to have more columns, you cannot see what "New Materials" are being billed for in a month as it adds that to the "Materials currently stored" when printed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest value we have found by adding Procore to our daily management has eliminated weekly meetings with our corporate staff as they can see EVERYTHING in real time.
Excellent Software Construction Management
What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility through mobile app, helps to maintain updated data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Change Order and Budget part has a lot of internal steps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reconstruction process
Project Management Refined
What do you like best about the product?
Procore has delivered on the promise of centralized project management. The most perplexing issue confronting any company that manages any project is the consolidation and organization of information. Most projects have this issue in copious amounts. Procore makes the relation of items simple i.e. RFI to plans, RFI to Change event, email to each item !!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The system still needs work to accommodate Specialty contractors. Procore is working on this at a breakneck pace and has made tremendous progress. I would still recommend this to my peers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, consolidation and connection of information is key to successful project information flow. We have used the systems to control our billing process, Submittals, Contracts, budgets. We continue to find uses in our operations
Great Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Organization of information, providing you a history of each items and response, divided per submittals, RFIs
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes has a delay in sending notifications and emails from procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of information, providing you a history of each items and response times from the parties involved.
Procore is a very helpful tool in the field
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is very helpful with keeping track of the day to day situations we deal with on site. It is an incredible organizational tool and has everything you need to keep the work flow steady.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is sometimes buggy when switching between different tools. It occasionally does not save the notes that are entered into the daily log. The app is difficult to use the drawings editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better keeping track of the labor hours and which company. It saves time rather than always hand-writing the login sheets and recording every event by hand. The multiple location selection is also very helpful on a multi level job.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn about procore so you can take advantage of all of it's tools
Procore is a great end user experience, if a little costly.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI, Support articles, live support, training, iOS applications, and overall best-in-class software. This is truly the best construction software on the market today.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. You get what you pay for with Procore, but for additional features such as open API integrations with other companies, it can get even more costly to fully integrate everything that you may want to have integrated. Moreso than the overall cost is the way they are not transparent with their pricing structure and discounts. Volume-based pricing is a real struggle for some companies to deal with. Also, inconsistent price hikes year over year that you have to negotiate through every time are less than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent performance in document management. No longer do you have to rely on an ever-increasingly shaky Bluebeam studio software, or have a mixture of applications to try and access those drawings and other tools remotely/mobile. The additional built-in features such as Punch Lists, T&M Tickets, and more are great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Negotiate and negotiate hard on pricing structures and discounts. Once you get it all setup, you are going to want to get even more things integrated, so be mindful of the costs of those before you dive in.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The drawing tool makes it incredibly easy to post changes to drawings, the RFI tool is very user friendly, punch list is also fantastic for managing items and can be used with the drawings tool to make it super easy to track down locations of items, even if people are not super familiar with the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mass editing and manipulating of submittal workflows is not a capability currently which leads to significant time consumption if a workflow member needs added/removed to many submittals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing of information is very easy to accomplish whether it's drawing updates, writing or managing the RFI process, or processing and distributing submittals. It streamlines the process and saves hundreds (or more) of hand-written emails throughout a project.
Great overall Quality, Safety, and Project Management solution for construction.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that every feature in Procore has been tested and tried throughout the years since it's inception in the early 2000's. I love that all the tools talk and link to each other. I also love the app marketplace. The fact that over 200 softwares "talk" to Procore is amazing. I especially love that you have 90% of the capabilities when you access on a mobile device. The power to access the solution on the go, is the best feature of it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
We piloted the Financials portion, and found that it did not serve our needs. We use CMiC as our ERP, and there are not any pre-built connectors to integrate with it. We had to hire a 3rd party integrator to get our systems to communicate with each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only purchased the Quality & Safety module, so we are using it to digitize our Quality and safety programs. We are able to elminate about 90% of our paperwork now that we've adopted Procore.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I know there are other solutions coming online right now but I like how Procore is tried and true in the industry for the past 20 years.
Excellent customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I love the online chat option they are very helpful. And fast and knowledgeable
What do you dislike about the product?
The tools were created separately and different. They dont all have the same capabilities and dont do the same things, very frustrating. I think Procore is more work than other platforms when it comes to workflows and other things, alot of manual work vs automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems are not really being solved but i am emailing them and they say things are still in production with some things.
I use Procore everyday at work.
What do you like best about the product?
I am the Field Administrator on a large commercial property in Maine, with lots of people involved, and this program allows us to work in real-time with everyone on the project all over the country & the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall I think that Procore is designed very well. I use the meetings weekly and upload drawing weekly. I have not had any problems thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the weekly meetings we hold via ZOOM, we can follow a clear agenda that is written on Procore and sent to other persons involved in that particular aspect of the project. The meeting can then be accessed with minutes added to them for all to reference. This enables us to communicate quickly and efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it. If you are working on big projects with many people involved I would recommend Procore. It was very helpful during COVID when working from home.
