Good all around product
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is so much transparency with the subcontractors/team members and that everything is accessible at all times. You do not have to wait for someone to respond to you to be able to view contract documents, like you might in traditional e-mail settings. I like having a job-specific directory available for each job and that all aspects of a project can be completed within procore. I love the live chat feature- the customer service team is phenomenal and very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a long time to get used to and there are a lot of permission-based issues. Some items take a lot of detail / attention to perfect. I wish that there were a traditional manual for how to use it,but understand that since it is ever-changing, it cannot happen. I also don't like that ERP cannot be contacted via live chat, there are many erp issues and the delay in response is often hindering my day to day production. I do not like that you can't copy contracts, as this would be a HUGE Timesaver for many. I also wish that there was a way for admins to view a "subcontractor view," so we can ensure that our subs have proper permissions before making a project live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing documents, meeting minute distribution, project plans are intuitive, bidding is easy. We have realized the benefit of having everything in one wheelhouse for each job.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can take care of business all in one location. From Preconstruction through closeout and beyond. Everything is in one spot. Also, Procore is very aggressive in adding and refining features to include any new technology.
The absolute best feature is the archive feature. Everything is preserved as a PDF. This is very helpful in providing closeout documents to clients. It is also invaluable when going back to projects that are years old. The archived files are all very logically sequenced so that it is very easy to find anything.
The customer service is absolutely the best. There is always someone you can contact through chat and they have always solved any issue that I have encountered. It's so reassuring to know that you can count on the technicians to assist in any situation. And they act as if they truly care about solving your issue.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the reporting was a little more robust but I've been spoiled in the past utilizing Crystal Reports. Procore has really ramped up its reporting abilities in the last few years however I find it frustrating that I can't go across all tools to do one report.
With the export feature in most tools I can get the information I need exported and then work with the data in Excel.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is one place for all documents or anything to do with a project. It is easy to find the information you need quickly or even five years after a project has closed. It is a very easy software to learn and use.

What do you like best about the product?
I think Procore helps the end user adapt to the technology their company want to use very efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the downside of using Procore is the commitment to using it across all projects within a company. It would be great if Procore synced better with other programs such as newforma or pantera.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is reducing the workload of our project management teams by streamlining project admin processes. Also provides cloud commmunications that were otherwise more difficult to prepare for each project.

The digital action system worked by procore, manages technical levels of proven organizational dimensions, for the estimation of presentation controls, actions of automated technical follow-up of asset definition, incorporation's of modular origin of strategy credit formats, disposition of virtual communication adjustments of material detection spaces, incorporation's of employment of local action tools for digital transformations of enriched digital statistics, simplifications of ratified projection guidelines of coordination of metadata of fast construction condition, groupings of web monitoring of computerized administrative resources for the creation of method linking templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
These are the techniques used by the procore software, which are deficient when it comes to distributing processes of solutions for the adjustment of construction spaces enabled for the manufacture of business projects, due to the fact that their dialog boxes limit the acceptance of management tools in the main panel of this application, reducing the conduction of data estimation references in the cloud, where this failure disproportionately presents the quality of presentation of methodologies of coordination of algorithmic code administrations, throwing failures to the direct use on the part of the users, having to establish a function of innovation of profitability of programmatic integrations to regulate the amount of announcements found in this application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Controlled invoicing follow-ups for material purchase negotiations, direct request for cost reduction offers, organization of automatic work flow design projection documentation, professional construction assistant hiring margins, distribution of product purchase work fundamentals for mobile customer assistance, productivity management of traceable real estate percentages, proactive messaging programming for e-mail employment references as a manager of technical report writing and customer relations, are used in my company to finance user interaction operations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend the procore system due to its monitoring of access preparation to material negotiation dimensions, shared resource globalization approaches, selection of asset management model schemes, content management presentations, mass people entry door construction assignments, business aspect room and office dimensions, employment services for building enriched plan loads, cloud performance support tuning presentations, statistical action credits for small, medium and large business services, digitization of budget requests, planned project organization, are raised by this server.
Not Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibilities of depth that Procore has available. The amount of detail and information that can be put and shared on it. I like the search function, especially the fact that you search within the job, and not just within your account. With so many documents on each job this makes it easier and quicker to find things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that the notifications I get are so lengthy and wordy because they always list out all the recipients before the actual topic of the notification. I think it would be more efficient to either omit all of the recipients in the notification, OR put the topic/content of the notification before the list of recipients. It's hard as the reader to determine what the notification is even for at a quick glance. I have found it necessary at multiple points to separately email the other contractors in order to determine what was being asked of me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems that get solved is sharing large files that are unable to go through emails. Also, everyone working on a job having access to the documents is important so someone doesn't have to constantly be sending the documents out to people, instead, the workers just have access to what they need when they need it. I also like that notifications are sent out to contractors on the team, although I think those notifications can improve, I like the function in general.

Procore API's are very good to integrate to our system. They got good documentation.

deletion of a record from procore and having an API while integration is difficult to integrate because we don't know the deleted record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it replaced our traditional legacy application. now change events or line items are easy to create. UI is simple and integrations are simple.
Cautiously unify functions of high importance for your complete work in construction areas.
What do you like best about the product?
Through Procore it is very easy to share documents in a very secure way, no matter what size they are, because it is designed to maintain a wide capacity in the sense of backup and sending limit, because through this system we can execute designs related to construction at a global level, where many users integrated to these areas, can participate in such designed model, being a considerable project management that expands the collaboration between teams, calling my attention extensively, because we can store all these files without any prevalent or existing risk.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it takes for the program to respond, both for approvals of moderation's of alternatives and models sent, as well as support requests, in the presence of any doubt, or existing problem, with the system of this software, which is a total inconvenience, since sometimes it can delay the work on a considerable scale, highlighting that these problems are duplicated, when the connection with the Internet is not so stable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can mention that we use this system in the dedicated department for production and development, precisely to send all the documents and information related to skillful construction projects to process and promote such structuring, precisely we use Procore, for the management of all these models created, and even for the approval of interesting designs, sent by our customers to be promoted in the future, as suggested designs for a proper and effective development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is extremely suitable for projects that are performed on a large constructive scale worldwide, and is represented in several parties involved, or rather in several companies in relation to the same design, this software provides collaboration between teams so that several participants can participate in this platform to idealize a solid structure, allowing the sending of documents regardless of size to that recipient, highlighting that it is an excellent application for content approval and alternative workflows.
Solid Construction Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is a very concise construction management program. The organization of drawings, RFIs, and submittals is pretty intuitive. Having a database for everyone to collaborate to reduces hassles with commination. Having a directory of the project team, subs, and consultants is handy. When you first log in you are shown which projects are working on. After you select your project you show what is due, what is late, and what is upcoming in terms of RFIs and Submittal items. Also it is a great archive to upload your permits for record. The interface is updated on a reasonable basis. The quality of life improvements from these updates actually do make a difference and do make navigating around more enjoyable than when I first started using the program a few years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a bit more polished. Other similar programs have more sleeker designs. Plangrid has pretty modern interface but I'm more accustomed to how Procore works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes Procore can be down during the day but it's not that common of an issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There may a slight learning curve when you first start using Procore. Once you know where certain categories are located it is not too difficult to navigate the program. While in my case example I do get support from my contractor since they are the owners of the main account.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a live environment. Project information such as the budgets, commitments, progress claims and project documentation is completely up to date all the time, giving a true reflection of the status of the project at any point in time. This not only provides full transparency to all stakeholders but also gives the site teams instant access to the latest documentation and current budget position. Daily reporting, site inspections, RFI's and communication between the site and the office has been made so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial set up of the platform. It's a massive task completing the initial setup of the system. Having to enter all users into the system and sorting the permission templates for all stakeholders takes some time especially when you are a smaller organisation. However, once this initial process is complete it all comes together very quickly. The old saying is - The more you put into it the more you get out of it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management. We have found that Procore has realised some major time savings across our business in all aspects from contract administration to document control and especially in the day to day daily reporting on site. Given that we are a smaller organisation once the onboarding and initial setup was complete we have found our company turnover to staff requirement has reduced and our work-life balance has improved greatly. Generally less stress across the entire team from the office to our site-based employees.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having used a number of construction software platforms over the years, I would happily say that Procore has proven itself to perform in my mind as one of the best and most user friendly.
Procore For Construction Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can access project information from anywhere and in addition I have the versatility to be able to use Procore on many different devices. This is key for me. Everyone involved in the project, whether they are at home, on the job site, on vacation, etc.. has access to project information, almost immediately after it has been created/uploaded in Procore. It's great having everything under one umbrella instead of having to purchase multiple software programs . In addition, the management team at Procore is constantly striving to incorporate new tools, software, processes - in order to make the system better for the end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a feature that I dislike or choose to not use in Procore. When creating RFI's & Submittals, I do not copy the subcontractor because I prefer to send the response myself through our company email. There are times that I may want to discuss the response with fellow employees before I share it with the subcontractor. Most Procore users include the subcontractor in the distribution list when they create an RFI or a Submittal and they love the ability to do that because it saves them so much time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several potential problems are solved by using Procore. All project information is stored on a secure server so there are no worries about losing all of the project information because your less sophisticated system crashed and updated plan sheets are uploaded so that no one is referencing the wrong version of the plans. It is a huge benefit to have a current copy of the project plans available online for subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, etc.. to use.
