What do you like best about the product?
The record-keeping capabilities. Procore forces you into creating proper pathways and processes to track records and documents. Procore also gives you the ability to analyze projects in ways that were impossible before.
Construction projects have many moving parts and keeping track of all of them can be very difficult without proper workflows and set practices for recording directions and instructions. Procore's Project management tools give you ways to record every little thing that goes on during your project. By using this system I can now tell you exactly what was happening at any given time on a project including the reason it is being done and how much it cost.
Procore has also improved the quality and safety of job sites by making it easier to record and document and analyze health and safety issues for projects so that they do not reoccur and prevention strategies can be created.
The financial side of Procore gives you deep insights into where the money is being spent efficiently and creates better estimates for future projects. It also helps keep track of accounts payable and receivable by displaying overdue invoices.

What do you dislike about the product?
The system is very large and uses very formal processes that some smaller companies may not be using or may me be too small to justify using. Such large and detailed processes for keeping records and collecting data require a steep learning curve and the system takes a long time to tailor to your needs. Most items in Procore require you to change the company processes to suit Procore which isn't always a bad thing as the Procore processes will most likely be an improvement to yours though it takes a long time to adapt to them.
In summary, Procore will improve your processes and record-keeping but it requires a lot of time and dedication using the system properly, probably more time and dedication then you are currently putting towards processes

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Change orders now have a record trail from the origin of the change right to the final payment processing. There is also a much greater insight into the efficiency of a project using the budget tool and the various tool workflows.

Good Project Management Software - Updated
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is an extremely powerful tool. From financial management to documentation control and project management there are solutions for almost all facets of construction projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are almost too many options and settings in some areas, which can detract from the system at times. Some very basic things that need addressed to be more functional continue to be ignored. Update - At Procore's urging we have turned off unused fields and features and that has helped streamline things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore had allowed us to get control over job costing and document control. The collaboration with trade partners continues to increase as more and more subs are getting acclimated to the digital world. Update - We have now rolled out new SOPs and features such as Correspondence and Locations and it is improving our efficiency and document retention.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is an extremely powerful tool, that does come at a pretty hefty price. Evaluation of the software is very important.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, it is very straightforward when compared to other programs I work with as a subcontractor.
What do you dislike about the product?
This might sound odd, but there is almost too much customization. As a subcontractor, I sometimes get limited by a GC on how I can handle my own submittals. Things get created that don't apply, I can't upload them myself, etc. I wish there were improvements there; as the subject matter expert of my scope, I want to upload freely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I ever need to refer back to previous revisions, it's all there at my disposal in an organized fashion!
Keeps Everything Orginized!
What do you like best about the product?
Having all construction documents in one place. I like to be able to send bids out in Procore see when they are viewed and Procore sends a reminder periodically. I can send bids out to multiple subs at a time. It is a lot easier then sending all of the bids through email. Procore is like having another person just for organizational purposes. Procore has been well worth the time and money for our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the reading of drawings was more like bluebeam, where you can easily scroll through drawings and have bookmarks on the side. It would also be helpful if we could edit schedules directly in Proccore. I think the initial learning of the program is difficult. All of our employees have struggled in the beginning. If there was a way to work with a teacher while finishing the educational classes. I think that would be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is helping the business to keep RFI's organized and remind whoever has the ball in court to complete the RFI.
I realized that it can be very hard to remember to remind bidders to send in their bids. Procore can automatically send reminders for bidding to subcontractors.
Procore has also helped our company to connect commitments costs with the prime contract costs.

Once you learn the basics, and take some of the educational courses offered through Procore. It becomes a lot easier to navigate Procore. The hardest part is the beginning. Everyone in our company has seen the benefits of Procore once we have learned the basics.

We've not been able to experience outlook integration do to server incompatibility.

Best all in one construction software
What do you like best about the product?
Procore allows you to perform many different tasks that would typically require multiple programs to do such as; Review & markup drawings, change management, invoicing, create and track issues/observations/punch lists, submittals, and RFI's.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since there are so many different functions in Procore it can take a bit of time to learn how to use each one. Procore offers many different training videos to teach you how to use each function and get past the learning curve. It also helps if your company creates SOP's for using Procore. Overall Procore is top notch and offers support if you have any questions that are not covered under their training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am just starting to use the punch list feature and it is a major time saver. It allows your AOR to create the punch list, you can distribute it to your subs, and they can respond in Procore once each item is complete and attach photos for the AOR to review. No more waiting for the AOR to come to the site to review or trying to manage the punch list via e-mails.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is a fully integrated, one-stop solution for Construction Project Management. There isn't much of a need to look elsewhere, as they have all the tools available for you. However, you can pick and choose modules, and even bolt on existing solutions, such as ERPs in order to fully compliment your business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall cost of Procore can be considered pricey if you don't fully understand the value and ROI gained. Additionally, the ability to customize your "package" would be great, rather than having to buy specific packages to get the tools you truly require for your business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore allows us to increase visability and strengthen communications. It has significantly increased our collaboration on our projects as well. We are holding people more accountable, both internally and externally. Tracking who's court items are in, and even expediting answers, requirements and results as the outcome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your homework on all solutions you are reviewing. Investigate ease of use, reviews and ROI when making your decision. Also, determine your security requirements for sharing information with others when reviewing any system you are purchasing.

We can handle our PM workflow as well as their extensive training catalog to make experts out of anyone.

Get into the training modules prior to needing to. There's a lot of great information to be had for those interested.

Procore is our "one stop shop" for getting all the relevant information about the status and progress of our progress across our entire company. It's easy to use for the field and powerful enough for our office staff to accomplish what they need on a day to day basis.

Procore pushes a lot of changes quite quickly and it can make your hear spin if you are not on top of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have multiple pieces of software to manage the various parts of a project. Our email and our document storage was the only source of truth for a particular piece of information. Now with Procore, conversations, budgets, drawings, documents, and many other pieces of our projects are all in one place and easy to find. It has greatly increased our efficiency purely from the ability to find information faster that we know is up to date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many users and companies out there that use Procore and are more than willing to share about their experiences. Don't be afraid to ask for help since the community is more than willing to do so.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore's mobile app allows me to view drawings, RFI's, Punchlist, etc on the go around the jobsite. It is amazing to have a full set of prints in the palm of your hand. Being able to create punchlist items and RFIs while in the field saves a lot of time too. Plus you can add photos in real-time instead of having to download them to the computer later. Overall it makes managing the job site much easier and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have any complaints right now with Procore!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily progress photos, Punchlist, Drawing Review. It has saved so much time with daily tasks, and having everything in one place makes it simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will save a lot of time doing daily tasks, everything you need is in one place. Procore is constantly being updated and getting new features to improve it even more.
