Procore Makes It Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact the Procore is extremely user friendly and has gotten better year after year. It helps me to be more efficient with my time on a day to day basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that you are unable to truly customize the software to fit your particular needs. There are at times items that should be removed or some that should be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big problems that are being solved on a day to day basis is the ability to track submittals and RFI's.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Way the pros and cons before selecting software. Make sure the ROI is worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is unafraid of taking different approaches to the industry where changes are much needed. Not sure how this will change as the company just went public, though.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the most basic construction workflows are not fine-tuned in Procore and have a lot of quirks and hidden workarounds that really slow you down. You'd be shocked at some of these flaws and how slow Procore is to prioritize fixing them.
They seem to be growing their breadth of products, but not developing the depth of their core products for their oldest customer in construction mgmt.
Licensing costs are also inflexible if you're looking for any bits and pieces of the tool in different applications.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking "Ball in Court" items and knowing the review process of an item is very clear in Procore. More visible overviews of this process still needs some development, but it is much better than most other products like it.
Procore has completely changed the way we think and do things during the construction process.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have all information in one centralized location. For myself as someone who oversees all projects at the quality level I have the ability to look at all the projects and run reports from my office while not onsite to see the status of open observations, inspections and punchlist items. This had made me look at the company as a whole and make decisions on where to spend time rather than show up to a project and then realize that they are in great shape and I waste my time there as well as the project team. Also if I didn't go to a site for say a month and if i didnt have the ability to look at everything then showing up onsite and realizing that we are in trouble with closing out a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I could run reports from my ipad in the field that would make my job easier as well as the field staff. There have been a few instances where what is shown on the iPad is different from what is show on the website. This can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been having meetings with the design team to have a "how to Procore" meeting. Showing them the benefits of putting their field reports/observations/punch list items make it beneficial for not only them but the subs and us. Doing this takes away the double entry!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all the software you might use as a company and see how many of those items that procore can do, then ask yourself, should we pay for all these programs or just pay for one that does all of these.
Excellent All-in-One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is continuously engaging with its customer base to find new ways to improve on their already user-friendly platform. The benefit of having all of the project documentation all in one place, accessible with easy to use iOs and Android apps is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of Procore's module, although thorough, consume too much time. We feel that the punch list tool is excellent for tracking items to completion, but is clunky to initially input the information during a field walk with an owner or architect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore's web based Documents module and Procore Drive have allowed us to reduce our dependency on network space while maintaining access even when working remote.
Procore's success for Construction Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
The features that I like best in Procore are the ability to take drawings and or submittals and bring them out to the field with the Procore app on an iPad to be able to communicate seamlessly with the team on the job site. Another tool that is very helpful for project start-up is the ability to create a submittal register to generate draft submittals directly from the projects specifications and will automatically assign those items to that spec.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore can see some improvement in the area of procurement, specifically the P&D tracking funtionality in Procore has yet to create incentive using the site over a traditional spreadsheet for P&D log tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Another benefit of Procore is the ability to link RFI responses to specific mark-ups on the drawings. This feature is utilized on a daily basis and is critical to keeping our team's superintendents instantly up to date on any changes to the drawings or details.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great all-in-one construction management software. Procore makes the connection between field and office staff seamless from RFI changes to submittal comments.

Info is easy to find and share with others. Keeps everyone on the same page. Makes RFIs a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any downsides. I do prefer other methods of viewing drawings.

Document control is one less thing we have to worry about

The functionality and user friendly platform. Procore mobile is a big plus as well for punch list and observations

Drawing tools could be more useful. Or integrating with Blue beam

RFI's and submittals are far easier. Punch lists stay up to date with everyone on the project

What do you like best about the product?
Procore incorporates everything you could possible need to simplify our work. It is perfect for Construction.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike about Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore makes writing purchase orders and subcontracts simple. Change orders are a breeze. Punch Lists are created with pictures and you can show locations on plans. Budget updates and modifications are so simple.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is the best software program I have ever used in my 35 years in Construction.
Helpful Online Service
What do you like best about the product?
Procore provides a concise location to access all of the important information I need for my project. Everything is well organized, which makes navigating the site convenient when you are looking for items.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is the learning curve. It takes a decent amount of time to teach others how to use the site, but once they get a grasp, Procore becomes second nature to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Procore is having a centralized location to store all of the information about the project. The ability to view contracts with subcontractors while also keeping track of their budget and submittals is very helpful to make sure each subcontractor is performing. The Procore app is also a very helpful addition because it allows me to pull items up in the field and show people drawings and specs without having to go back to the job trailer.
A one stop project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Linking photos to their location on each drawing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are easy to edit, so just be mindful of your clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our problems now have internal safety nets, or peer review processes. Linking photos to their location on the drawing is so helpful when remembering details of a walk through for remodel projects.
