  • July 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything is all in one place. Submittals, RFIs, Meeting Minutes, Daily Reports, and all my financial tools are easily accessible just by logging in. Its very user friendly and all my clients and subs have picked it up very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know what I don't like about this program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is easily accessible through 1 program instead of multiple programs like i have used before.

Procore is par of our TEAM!

What do you like best about the product?
Procore allows me to keep in touch with all our projects whether at the office, on the jobsite, at a meeting or wherever I might be. The syncronization of all aspects of the project from drawings, contracts, photos, daily log, project costs, punch lists gives me the power to manage more work than I thought possible and helps us streamline our processes. The ability for owners and members of the design and development teams to access and view the information has proven very valuable in our success as a design/build company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I have is that they continue to improve and develop new tools so quickly that it is hard to keep up with all the benefits they create!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to keep in real time touch with projects even remotely with all the information that my superintendents can put into Procore. It keeps all our information in one place and up to date to help eliminate costly issues.

Streamlined Processes with Procore

  • July 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Bidding tool has enabled us to expand both the coverage for individual bid packages and bid out more work overall. The drawing, document and photo management make the transition from estimating to project management easier than before, as all the information is already loaded and ready to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools lack flexibility when exporting to PDF or other formats. It would be nice to have some control over the look of exported forms to maintain a consistent look across the company's documentation. The bidding tool also leaves some to be desired when it comes to leveling - the amount of detail doesn't give us a level of comfort with the bidders' scopes, and there is no mechanism for comparing scopes and prices directly in Procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore has greatly reduced the amount of time I spend sending email and maintaining current document sets during the bidding process. It also helps streamline the hand-off process to Operations once a project is awarded.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend Procore to any prospective users - make sure to explore the different product suites, as not every tool is included.

Procore - Highly Recommend

  • July 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is easy to use. The teams at Procore have developed all of their tools to be very user friendly and applicable to the Construction world. By providing all of the information fields that you may need for a given process or tool, it allows the user to streamline all of the daily processes that take place in project management. Everything can be accessed from one screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides to Procore, in my opinion. The reality is that there is no software that is perfect for all of it's users, as everyone and every company does things a little different. Procore strives to try and make the software as compatible with all of it's users as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our day-to-day operations are streamlined and consistent. All of the information specific to a project can be found in one location. When bringing on new team members, the on boarding process is much simpler as a result of the way that Procore has set up the software. It teaches you the process as you go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a Construction Management Software that is complete and addresses all of your processes and needs, look no further. The Team at Procore is endlessly looking for feedback and offering support to make the experience better every day. In my opinion, that says a lot about the quality and effectiveness of the product.

All-in 1 for Project Management made easy

  • July 02, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
Organizes drawings, specs, submittals & documents (cloud based so doesn't take up storage) that allows our team to preforms as efficiently as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires a little time to learn how to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore will only show the most recent drawings & submittals so we know our team is always looking at the latest and greatest modifications. This has prevented a lot of rework. Also, the organization of Procore has saved our project management team a lot of headaches.

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is becoming the industry standard of project management software. Easy access to all job content on any device. It has been valuable to all team members across the project. We use it for daily reports, photos, plan and document management and tracking revisions. RFI's Meeting minutes and submitals. The financial tools help us keep track of direct cost and cost to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
fee structure for the service. expensive. notifications can be overwhelming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this has helped us control documents and changes. comparing plan revisions helps us identify and price changes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is the software you have been looking for

Procore Makes It Easy

  • July 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact the Procore is extremely user friendly and has gotten better year after year. It helps me to be more efficient with my time on a day to day basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that you are unable to truly customize the software to fit your particular needs. There are at times items that should be removed or some that should be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The big problems that are being solved on a day to day basis is the ability to track submittals and RFI's.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Way the pros and cons before selecting software. Make sure the ROI is worth it.

Mostly Effective, Slow to Develop Existing Tools/Issues, Expensive if not fully leveraged

  • July 02, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Procore is unafraid of taking different approaches to the industry where changes are much needed. Not sure how this will change as the company just went public, though.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the most basic construction workflows are not fine-tuned in Procore and have a lot of quirks and hidden workarounds that really slow you down. You'd be shocked at some of these flaws and how slow Procore is to prioritize fixing them.

They seem to be growing their breadth of products, but not developing the depth of their core products for their oldest customer in construction mgmt.

Licensing costs are also inflexible if you're looking for any bits and pieces of the tool in different applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking "Ball in Court" items and knowing the review process of an item is very clear in Procore. More visible overviews of this process still needs some development, but it is much better than most other products like it.

    Christopher J.

Procore has completely changed the way we think and do things during the construction process.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have all information in one centralized location. For myself as someone who oversees all projects at the quality level I have the ability to look at all the projects and run reports from my office while not onsite to see the status of open observations, inspections and punchlist items. This had made me look at the company as a whole and make decisions on where to spend time rather than show up to a project and then realize that they are in great shape and I waste my time there as well as the project team. Also if I didn't go to a site for say a month and if i didnt have the ability to look at everything then showing up onsite and realizing that we are in trouble with closing out a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I could run reports from my ipad in the field that would make my job easier as well as the field staff. There have been a few instances where what is shown on the iPad is different from what is show on the website. This can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been having meetings with the design team to have a "how to Procore" meeting. Showing them the benefits of putting their field reports/observations/punch list items make it beneficial for not only them but the subs and us. Doing this takes away the double entry!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at all the software you might use as a company and see how many of those items that procore can do, then ask yourself, should we pay for all these programs or just pay for one that does all of these.
