Assignment Oriented, Slightly Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is great for assigning responsibilities and setting deadlines for project tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore can be challenging to navigate, with only new and updated tasks in the main dashboard and all other project information buried elsewhere in the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore makes it easy for all parties involved in a review process to see each others' responses prior to releasing items for production.
Leader of the pack with a price point to match
What do you like best about the product?
The software itself and their support team reviews speak for themselves. If you're looking for a construction project management tool that's easy to use internally and externally, achieve high levels of saturation, and not invest heavily in maintenance then this product is for you. Procore does care about their customer base and it shows when even the most tech adverse users jump on the bandwagon. This is very much the "Tesla" of the construction software world complete with all the bells and whistles (if you can afford it).
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore appears to be unaware of the fact that other competitors like Autodesk BIM360 Field (NextGen) and Oracle Prime Field are making strategic acquisitions and catching up to them. The technological lead they had 4 years ago is not what it is today. They have a great product on the surface for 90% of their customers but for ENR100 companies that demand more flexibility or control they fall short. Case and point would be their document module which still requires ad-hoc individual user level privacy control. Procore has done a great job of getting people ONTO the platform but they need to shift their focus to KEEPING customers on the platform. Also, the annual construction volume tiered pricing model may not be viable for mid-size to large GCs. Cost predictability is key and when companies have to do complex forecasting, tiered discounts and basis point calculations which result in prices significantly higher than competitors it's a huge issue that sometimes cannot be overcome. By constantly changing how modules are packaged and price it makes for an overly complex and frustrating pricing exercise. Lastly, many of the features/functionality seem half baked. For example, they can do action A on mobile but not web or in RFIs but not submittals. I hope they close the gap and take many of their tools to the next step soon otherwise Autodesk may scoop up many of their cost adverse clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating the illusive "single source of the truth" for all data and information related to a construction project is the chief problem we were trying to solve. While we have already seen a higher levels of efficacy and overall end user satisfaction with Procore it has affected our company's bottom line. We have not fully evaluated the true "value add" of a product with this price point.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be upfront and diligent about getting an accurate price for the suite of products you need.
Lots of Potential, will Transform Company in a significant way
What do you like best about the product?
The company really seems to have taken parts of other services and made a stop shop program for a Construction company.
What do you dislike about the product?
My firm is a subcontractor and this platform has been developed for a GC, we are still working out the tweaks for downflow company and making it work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were more far behind the curve in technology, we are catching up to a more streamlined process, without changing our core processes too much. We are learning some new and improved ways to do less redundant activities in our everyday work.

Procore Gets the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
Managing submittals, RFI's and Change Orders is working out great. Support has been good. Also enjoy that it is cloud-based and there isn't a limit to users. Users in the field can use the app and access the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pay applications are clumsy. Would like them to be more customizable with specific tax needs. Also, integration with our accounting software leaves a lot to be desired. Successful use of the program depends on others using it as well (suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, etc.) so there is effort in getting others to buy in to the usefulness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are keeping better track of submittals as long as all parties involved in the process use Procore. Like the Procore App as well as Procore Drive. We have yet to use the bidding side of Procore but look forward to trying this out. I use Procore on a day to day basis and enjoy using it. The support is great and there are many self-guided learning tools, including Webinars, forums, and also a Certification program.
