Procore for Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
1) The drawings automatically pull the most current to the front.

What do you dislike about the product?
You can get lost in the rabbit hole so to speak. There is so much and it goes so deep. If there were more individual classes offered for training that would be stupendous. The training videos are a great resource but it's hard to retain such a wealth of information in one sitting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problems we are solving are 1)communication - everyone is able to stay on the same page really easily. 2) Accountability. The ball in court assigns and tracks who is responsible for what. It is really reallly great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth the investment. Unlimited storage space, customization options, etc. IF you try it and like it, just consider integration as well. We are going to implement it and it will be our total and only well rounded tool .

The ability to review all the projects all the time live.
What do you dislike about the product?
Procore Drive verses the online view. The app and the web page do not align.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore allows me a vision of all our projects all the time, this is critical to my success.
Solid product with good support
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking of history - both within a bidding project and a subcontractors history spanning several projects. The estimator can quickly see who has reviewed the documents to verify that there will be adequate for each trade.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default of encouraging bidders to submit their bids via the Procore system can result in the same bids being delivered by multiple means.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department uses it for pre-construction management and bidding. Procore allows issuing easy and flexible Invitations to Bid and is a convenient for managing bid & budgeting documents on-line.
Efficient Construction Management
What do you like best about the product?
We like the RFI and Submittal features, the ability to consolidate our documents and plans in one location, and the way that we can share certain features with certain groups. We also like the photo feature, as this makes it a lot easier to track progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the problems that have popped up with software. However, customer support always makes it right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Procore to streamline the building process, involve the owners and subcontractors without being inefficient.
Effective and User Friendly - Worth every cent!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use Procore offers. The program is easily learned and offers quick support. As a whole, it essentially has closed all of the gaps our company previously experienced. The gaps where items would fall off the radar are slim to none now. Procore tracks our open items and allows customizeable reports to effectively present the status of each project. I've worked with a lot of software programs, and Procore is by far my favorite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we started using Procore, the company has made several updates to its software. I believe they listen to their Clients and work to implement suggestions. Integrating Bluebeam software is my biggest hope for the future. However, I have also taken issue with the sometime sparatic failures of the Procore software. At times, aspects would not function as they should and would be down for weeks. This caused our company to have to implement procedures working around the glitches. As a result, some are less trusting that it works effectively...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing document control with an inclusive history. We are able to house previously lost communications, through emails, in one location. We can track project progress and easily present statuses to our team members.

Do it!
An excellent web-based construction project management suite.
What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility of product. Ease of use. Drawing management tools. Documentation tools. Always seem to be working to improve the product and bring on new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requisition tool can be somewhat cumbersome. Expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Procore to manage all of our construction projects in all phases of construction. The software is easy to use. We especially enjoy the drawing tracking management, and the ability for all project stakeholders to have access to the project documents from any internet connection.

How long it takes to upload drawings. Not being able to change the categories on the open issue module. We need more options than the ones available.

Document Organizations
Procore is very ineffective
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone in this office and everyone on the contractor side hates procore because it is very hard to use. Transmittal feature sucks too because you have to "add" the document after you already uploaded it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything. I had a lot of issues with Procore since day 1 of using it. I contacted the design team and support team but nothing could be resolved. I was given excuses of saying it is impossible to make the changes I am asking and that I have no right to make any request for changes as I am ONLY a project admin . ONLY the COMPANY admin can make request changes but the Company admin rarely uses Procore on a daily basis. The project admins use Procore on a daily basis and cant make any requests. My request to me is very simple because all I asked for is to make sure that if the RFI or Submittal signature line at the bottom to be on the same page as the rest of the content. As the issue is that 99% of the content when printed out is on page 1 but the signature and only the signature line is on page 2. This looks very weird and I asked for this to be fixed. There were also many things I asked for such as multiple reviewer to be assigned in as Ball in Court for RFI and other features I deem as important to my job. Every time I ask i was denied or asked to put it in as an idea. After a year none of these issues have been resolved and procore is still very not flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are the construction managers of this project but we don't see any benefit of Procore. The only reason we use procore is because we are told to use it. We only use it to track official documents and nothing else.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Load screen is very slow, implementation is very slow, very hard to use, not flexible, pay app is hard to modify especially if changes were done on a previous pay app or new modifications of the scope.
Great Program!
What do you like best about the product?
We like the prime payment application generation feature as well as the subcontractor payment application generation feature. Also the fact that Procore will customize any form to your company is outstanding. In our case, they customized our subcontract and that makes life much easier when trying to issue subcontracts to subs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many clicks to get to a certain place and if you click on the company name in certain screens it completely redirects you. I also think it would be helpful if after you've bid the project and you select the winning bidder, then that information automatically gets uploaded into the project when you create it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Procore is a one stop shop for all of your project needs. We have been able to save a ton of time when it comes to payment applications and subcontracts agreements from the old way we did things. We love the payment applications process for the prime contract as well as for subcontractors. We used to have to worry about subcontractors keeping track of their payment applications from month to month, but with Procore everything is stored online and the subcontractors can't screw anything up anymore. We also like how Procore is constantly changing their software based on comments and feedback they receive from the industry. Now their prime contract has the option to have a guaranteed maximum price component, which is extremely helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this product if you're in the construction field.
Execellent way to keep track on a huge project.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that we can upload photos and we can make corrections on the drawings as needed right in procore, and have them approved by the owner with a touch of a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the process of uploading is a little slow, but other times it is at a timely matter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Procore our subcontractors are more aware of the changes being made on the featured project, and are more aware of the progress being made to complete the project. The great benefits of having procore is having the subs and also the owners see what is needed of the project so it can be a smooth process.
