Procore helps
What do you like best about the product?
Procore helped our company organize almost all of our PM's daily tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the submittals section was a bit easier to use and had a PDF markup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
centralization of work with access form anywhere
Recommendations to others considering the product:
use the support videos
Procore New User
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is better than most of the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as practical for program management. Better for general contracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking prime and subcontracts on multiple projects.
- reduce duplication of effort
- increase accuracy of reporting
- reduce time necessary to produce reports

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Have an Amazing experience with Procore!
What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to say what we like best about Procore but it could be the amazing cloud option and the ability to download and upload large files. Also being able to communicate with other clients is a plus.
I'd also like to add that the submittal process is super easy! And navigating the Drawings is super easy as well!
Additionaly providing close out Docutments is super easy!

What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say what I dislike about Procore. It would be nice to see more reminder emails on a daily rotation. Other than that I think Procore is an awesome fit for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having to do mass emails. With procore everyone is connected. Not only that but Procore also makes is super easy for us to upload and send large Drawings and also to navigate them with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
keep in mind that this program offers everything you will need!
Submittal Manager Review
What do you like best about the product?
Ability that all team members (Contractors, PM's, Site Staff, Project Coordinator and Project Engineers) all have access to information and ability to communicate real-time updated data to everyone on the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the software changes that can happen without warning. One thing I found very helpful was the ability to highlight a submittal text, and paste it into an email. This would make the text orange and be a direct link to that submittal. I used this daily to point contractors to where they need to be. One day the ability just vanished, and I lost a powerful tool in my aresenal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the "I didn't know about that...." game. With all the information in one place, and updated in real time, there is no excuse of "I didn't know about that"
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great support, sometimes you feel like you are being beta tested though. Continuously improving, but a massive machine to keep up with sometimes, even when used every day! We have what I term a "Procore Expert" here in the office. She spends a lot of time learning all the new things Procore can do and changes that have taken place.
Procore is Very Useful, But Quirky
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track all aspects of a project from start to finish.
What do you dislike about the product?
Get your coffee and a snack, because this is going to be a fairly long read:
I do not like the fact that you seemingly cannot just go straight to creating a change order, for one thing. You MUST do a "change event", then a PCO, then a PCCO. This adds a lot of extra time unnecessarily for us quite often. You should be able to create a complete PCCO without having to do any of the other stuff first.
I also do not like that ONLY the BUDGET can be exported to QuickBooks. We usually skip the budget tool as it requires summarizing each category and doesn't allow for breakdowns or descriptions. The Prime Contract should be the one to integrate into QB since that is the final product that the customer signs to do to the work. (We are probably going to cancel the ERP aspect of things since we cannot fully use it and don't need to waste $1,500 a year on something that doesn't meet our needs and expectations.)
I do not like that CEs and PCOs cannot be deleted if created in error.
It can be cumbersome to do things in Procore. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to load whatever you click on. (Sometimes you have to click it more than once, but that could be a user issue, not a site issue. Hard to say.)
I REALLY don't like having to download the attachments to certain things just to see what they show (bids for example). Just open it in a new tab/window and give me the option to download from there.
I don't like that some items cannot be attached as a bid document without first saving it to the "Documents" in another section of the project. I used to be able to just upload stuff right from my computer, but someone went and changed that so I am limited on my choices of where to get "Bid Documents" now. Put it back the way it was please!
I do not like that someone has to be added into a Project Directory separately - especially if they are already invited to bid the project. Customers should also just be able to be added to the project right from the Prime Contract as opposed to having to go to the Project Directory, add the customer, then come back to the PC. Quite time consuming (wasting) and frustrating.
I don't like that the "Financial Markup" tool does not work on Prime Contracts, either. I made it for a Change Order the other day, but tried to set that up for a PC this morning to no avail... It also needs the ability to ROUND to the nearest dollar. Our customers do not like to see "change" on their documents. Dollars ONLY please. How about instead of a separate area to deal with markups, you all add a "markup" column right next to each line (for horizontal/line item markups) and then at the bottom of the PC near the total, add that "vertical financial markup" into it as well? Too many places to go to do simple things in many aspects.
Also, the Subcontract needs to be improved. Currently, our job info and especially the AMOUNT blend in with the rest of the document instead of being bold. I realize the subcontract that we are using was our template, but it had those items bold when we sent it. It would be nice if Procore allowed us to edit things instead of us having to change documents on our end and then send to Procore to upload - especially if it loses formatting in that process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking construction project costs and time.
Keeping the entire project together in one place (drawings, proposals, subcontracts, etc.)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the training software and live chats when you need help. Live chats are usually the quickest way to get your question answered! The reps are always friendly and helpful, and if they cannot answer your question for some reason, they get you helped by someone else as quickly as possible. I've never waited long for a response if they had to send my question to someone else.
If you switch to Procore, set up your Directory carefully. We had several duplicates, and it's a pain to get rid of them!

Procore is worth the money.
What do you like best about the product?
Having all aspects of the processes that go into building a project under one program is priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Procore is constantly improving their product to fill in any gaps and they really listen to their customers suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency has increased by consolidating all of the external silos that were currently being used for project management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pricey but worth it. If you regularly take on jobs greater than $200k, this is for you.
Great for subcontractors
What do you like best about the product?
Procore easily allows our most important resource, our workers in the field, to always have access to the most up to date drawings and specifications. I never have to worry about re-work due to outdated drawings anymore.
With notifications, I, along with my team in the filed, can quickly see any issues that we need to take care of. Procore also allows us to easily respond back showing the fix!

What do you dislike about the product?
The iOS app for the iPhone, needs to be streamlined. It can be clunky, and take time to get to a certain drawing. When you have a large amount of files/drawings in a project, it can take quite a bit of time to load it as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time for our field leaders to go back to look at a set of drawings. No matter where they are located on a project, they always have access to all of the drawings, for all trades
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a subcontractor, I would recommend waiting until a GC or CM requires it, or offers it for free to all users on a large project.
Quick review from an Estimator
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is easy to use and quick to pick up by anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only minor dislike would be that you can't get an automatic timestamp when entering notes in to the bid tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes delegating subcontractor communications a breeze
Procore Use
What do you like best about the product?
The transparency it adds for our organization in one central location
What do you dislike about the product?
Really not that much. They are constantly upgrading their product for the better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier and faster access to all project related informaiton
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend. Although it may appear expensive, the benefits we realize far outweigh the costs.
