Procore Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Drawings, Submittals, RFIs, & associated logs save a lot of time. Accounting is also useful for centralizing all costs and change events. It forces organization in accounting and documents, which is good. It allows for a cleaner, more centralized holistic system for monitoring progress, costs, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drawings & Documents could be better integrated with one another: sending documents and drawings in a project email is a cumbersome process. Also, accounting could have more customizable options: notes for each line item, square foot costs shown in a column, vb functionality would be great as well. Scheduling is non-functional for updating actual project dates in the field. The schedule update process through Procore Drive and Microsoft Project (or P6) should be integrated into the web/mobile app. Ease of use is generally good, but these few items need attention in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Uploading plans cleanly and quickly has been a consistent help. Centralizing RFIs and Submittals versus tracking with Excel on individual PCs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Procore is unmatched in functionality. Some of the tools are a work in progress, but it's still the best holistic management software out there. I recommend using the service. It has saved a significant amount of clerical time. Tight organizational systems and in-house training are extremely important in facilitating a company-wide switch to Procore. It is not extremely simple, but it has the potential to be a powerful platform if it's run with moderation and organization.

Procore is easy to pick up on and understand. Our business adopted the project management software and everyone has picked up on it and the training was very effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn’t anything we disliked about it. It’s been a huge help to our business.

It combines every aspect of our business in one place and updates in real time.

I like the drawings tool, it makes everything accessible in the field and everything is up to date

I don't like the documents tool, it's nothing like the other tools.

It was a little slow before but with the new update i was really happy with all yhe new features

Sorting tool and forgiving. Able to update information and edit.

Specification download needs to have areas like drawings. I have a job that has another building with its own specifications. Currently just have to load the specs in documents.

Project Management. Everyone logging in and having the same information.
Semi-New to Procore
What do you like best about the product?
ease of use for anyone no matter how tech savvy they are.. which is good for me since those are the people I train for using procore in the field
What do you dislike about the product?
the financial tool area. it could use some work. also if they had a search by email address or phone number option
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management system that also encompasses bidding capability (request for and collection of bids)

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use; my GCs find it very easy to navigate through Procore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really dislike because I know Procore was built for GCs, but I would like to see it develop a line that is more designed for Owners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer have issues with our GCs getting access to plans and documents. This is saving both sides valuable time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the training videos; they are very useful!
Procore is a pretty good tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I like using the Commitments tool to monitor POs and enter invoices. I also like the licensing structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of admin work to get Procore setup and you need to be careful of which settings you opt for- because it could be a big headache in re-work if you have a feature turned on that you don't want. Ex- if your POs are setup as QTY based you cannot make a change to Amount based and have to delete and re-enter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating with parties all over the US is pretty handy with Procore. It's nice to be able to use versions on the Documents tool to handle important documents and even check them out to prevent versioning issues.

Procore is a really good system for the services it provides. It is very user-friendly and they are open to hearing feedback and engaging with their customers.
Well rounded program with beneficial updates
What do you like best about the product?
The overall organization of the program is well done. It's very easy for users who are not tech-savy to navigate their way around project information, unlike other programs. The customization is the second best feature I enjoy about Procore.
What do you dislike about the product?
The specification log needs to be more easily workable with single pdf files for uploading. The drawing's upload feature can be highly tedious to work with, as I'm constantly having to fight Procore to get the correct information in. The auto-population for drawings' information is wrong more often than not, assuming it is a new drawing number.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall organization has greatly helped us, from the preliminary and bidding stage to closeout, we have saved a lot of time and therefore money. We can easily track any item project related and have been giving the ability to constantly improve how we perform as a company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outstanding features all around. Any issues are typically fixed with updates. Free for subcontracted vendors to access project plans and documents.
