Extensive and Easy to use with a few moderate complaints

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After explaining what we specifically needed Procore to do for us concerning timekeeping, our company was told in the beginning that Procore would be able to meet it exactly with no problems. We were told that Procore is always upgrading and updating. This is partly true. Procore did upgrade and update. They updated their Timesheets tool to be exactly like what we described in the beginning that we needed. Come to find out they are wanting to charge us to use it after telling us that what they originally had would be perfect and work exactly how we wanted it to.

The benefits are several. We are now able to track in real time:
Daily logs
Safety inspections
Equipment logs
Submittals

and a lot more. All of which we had been doing previously in a less productive way than we are able to now. It's a long process to set up and implement but overall, it's a great product and easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have someone 100% dedicated to implementation.
Make sure that you are aware of EVERYTHING that you are needing from it otherwise you will be lost in trying to determine what you are needing.
After all of that, it's a breeze and awesome to use.

Definitely get as much connection and communication with your Sales rep and POC (Point Of Contact) as you can as it will be of much use to you.

What do you like best about the product?
Efficiency when working with subcontractors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing some of our documents has not worked with Procore fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending out contracts has been simplified.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Adding fields for "Miscellaneous" parts of our documents, that could be used for more customization.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps keep my job extremely organized and gives access to my field team to everything I need them to have. Keeps me from having to do double the work
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it takes hours for emails from procore to go through. I also find the site runs slow at times, I assume its because a lot of people are using it at once. That can be frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gets information to my field immediately. I don't have to email or print docs for my field guys. I can upload drawings and docs and they received them immediately . Also allows me to have better office to field communication as we can be looking at the same doc while on the phone and discuss. No more wonder what my field guys is talking about

Multi-Faceted Construction Administration Software

What do you like best about the product?
As an Architect, I work with several General Contractors who are all using Procore. This standardizes my role in the Construction Administration phase of a project - as move from project to project and GC to GC, I am still able to use Procore quickly and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a little disappointing, especially compared with companion apps for competing software. For example, 'Plans,' when linked with Newforma, is a powerful tool in the field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease-of-use for all parties involved: GC, Architect, Consultants, Client Reps, Developers, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a simpler and less complicated software to Newforma and others.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is very intuitive. If somebody who has never used Procore before tries to find something then they are able to locate it quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
For things such as submittals or RFIs, the email reminders for overdue items can pile up quickly. So somebody can get a lot of notifications daily from Procore and can start to ignore them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All companies involved in the project have access to the most recent files of a job. This reduces the problem of somebody using outdated documents or plans, helping to eliminate problems in the field.

As a subcontractor, asking General Contractors to use it has not been very effective.

Fantastic Construction Software

What do you like best about the product?
Drawings module - everyone on the project can always work off of the current drawings and linked RFIs. The ease of communication is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the columns on various modules were all configurable and that the reporting tools were more robust. I usually run into roadblocks with the way I want to report the info in procore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective communication platform spanning office & field, local, out of state, and out of country. Ease to track down all the required project information. With the iPad, you can easily get everything at your finger tips. Being able to interact with the software while you're standing in the field on the project construction site is invaluable. Before, we would have to take notes and pictures and go back to our computers to upload and generate all the data and distribute from there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expensive, but worth the premium in the end.

PROCORE revolutionized our Project Management Level financial management.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive graphic user interface that smartly consolidates 100% of the Project Level documentation management including all project financial needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still find areas where PROCORE, in an attempt to do everything for everybody, makes compromises on either industry best practice or construction management techniques.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We shifted our project level financial management and reporting into PROCORE with the SAGE interface. This has provided a new level of fidelity that our company and clients have enjoyed. Additionally, we replaced a 15 year old spreadsheet system and were able to avoid hiring a new accounting clerk due to efficiency gained.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Of all of the construction management software I have touched, this is the best consolidated, construction management focused platform that provides a readily acceptable performance from the subcontractor labor foreman all the way to the Owner/Developer. It gets high marks from everybody and has specified interface between PM level computer use versus field users using iPads or iPhones or other smart devices.
