Solid Platform with Room to Grow in Customization and Exports
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is a reliable and easy-to-use platform for managing construction projects. The interface is intuitive, making it easy for team members and subcontractors to get onboarded quickly. I appreciate how well it organizes documentation, streamlines submittals and RFIs, and centralizes project communication. It helps keep teams aligned and accountable across all phases of the job.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Procore works well out of the box, I find it lacks flexibility in terms of customization. The workflows and modules feel a bit rigid, and it would be helpful to have more control over how tools are configured for specific project needs. Also, exporting data—especially for submittals and RFIs—could be improved. The formatting options are limited and don’t always present the information clearly or professionally when shared with external stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit to me is improved visibility and accountability across teams. Everyone works from the same source of truth, which helps avoid miscommunication, keeps schedules tighter, and ensures documentation is up to date. It’s especially helpful in coordinating between field and office staff, reducing rework and delays.
Procore as a Prime Contractor
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Procore as a Prime Contractor for over 5 years now. Procore enables contractors to move forward with technology with minimal interruptions to physical work, in some instances making it easier. Other software is cross coordinated within programing like scheduling with Microsoft Project or P6. And it is quick for field staff to login daily to create field reports or document issues on site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously I have used procore as a GC and by GCs. I love the ability to overlay drawings as I have worked as the ceiling contractor and as the electrical contractor laying out and installing lighting. I don't have the ability to use the feature as a sub contractor which would be healful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having drawings to walk with and flip through is much easier than returning to a print table 20 times a day. It also has made communications between the field and office staff easier for me.
Really efficient software

They offer a wide array of functions and have great product support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t currently have any issues with the software.

The advanced AI features really shine, especially in the drawing tool, helping users catch those small details that can often get missed. This blend of simplicity and smart technology makes it a fantastic resource for boosting productivity and ensuring everything runs smoothly in any project.
Integrating the cloud-based platform has been a really positive experience. When we struggled to understand some of the tools, the Customer Support team stepped in and provided the help we needed. They made it much easier for us to figure out how to use the tools and when to use them, which has truly made a difference for our team.
Thanks to this support, our team has been able to implement better strategies and processes that fit smoothly into our usual company workflow.
With that being said, Procore has become an essential part of the way the company now functions and completes everyday tasks.
Based on my experience using this cloud-based program in two construction companies, I'm confident it has the potential to significantly transform the construction industry and project management workflows, making them more streamlined and collaborative.

While some features of the platform aren’t as flexible as we’d like to meet our company's specific needs right now, we’re hopeful about the future. There are updates on the horizon for Procore that should make it more adaptable, helping it fit better with our internal workflows and ultimately supporting our organization more effectively.

Procore has demonstrably enhanced our workflow management capabilities. By providing a centralised platform for task assignment, progress tracking, and communication, it has fostered greater accountability and significantly improved our ability to complete projects on time. This improved efficiency translates directly into better project outcomes and client satisfaction.

I think more reporting templates for month report would be good.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the organization and reports it affords to companies. It should open the channels of communication within the construction industry appropriately. This should allow the proper level of transparency between employees across disciplines and companies to eliminate company-damaging, improper, abusive, and illegal office politics.
What do you dislike about the product?
A channel for read-only users should be allowed for necessary communications, but it may not be allowed because of negative office politics. It needs a little more transparency, independent of the admin group. just an Idea, from many years of experience in sales and construction.

Tool for Construction Contract Administration
What do you like best about the product?
Procore is developing a great platform for streamlined Construction Contract Administration. It is a great feature to be able to directly add photographs associated with issues and pin the location on a drawing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The default settings for access levels don't match my responsibilities on the project. The software is primarily set up for the Contractor's perspective.

It is helpful to have multiple tools accessible on a single, integrated platform

I think what has been most helpful to me is to keep track of my working hours and to consult the construction drawings

This platform functions as a medium, facilitating access to documents by various individuals with different levels of authorization.

I think only big company can use it. The domestic user dont have free trial plan.
