What do you dislike about the product?
Interface not intuitive for non-technical users (photographers, graphic designers) who need a more direct experience
Very imprecise cost estimation: commercial forecast far below reality during the first contract
Insufficient onboarding: lack of support on metadata organization and sharing of best practices
Deficient commercial communication: changes in conditions/features/prices not communicated during pre-sales
Cost predictability difficult in the first year (even if it improves later)

Benefit: Transformations integrated into URLs and performed on-the-fly, eliminating the need to pre-generate multiple versions
3. Scalability of Multimedia Content
Problem: Difficulties in managing the increase in content volume, especially video
Benefit: Very easy development of our video content without technical constraints
4. Migration and Centralization of Assets
Problem: Media scattered across different platforms, complex migration
Benefit: Flexible migration options that adapt to our existing solutions
5. Reliability and Maintenance
Problem: Risks of outages and time-consuming technical maintenance
Benefit: Exceptional reliability (a few minutes of downtime in 2 years) and simple integration via well-documented APIs
Overall Impact: A robust media infrastructure that allows us to focus on our core business rather than the technical management of assets.

The free tier for cloudinary is very generous in terms of image upload
What do you like best about the product?
The generous free tier which allows our service based business to upload before and after photos
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, the UI was a bit confusing at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image storage and upload, which benefits service based business because it allows for before and after photos for clients which improves sales.
Great option to store images and showcase them transformed on a website
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, its very easy to create a transformation thats used often (named transformation) and apply it to all assets, then I can just tweak the transformation and I dont have to manually change each asset.
Documentation is clear so its easy to implement and integrate with my current React app
Documentation is clear so its easy to implement and integrate with my current React app
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the price and pricing model, the storage would never go down (makes sense) but for it to be bundled on the same credits as the bandwidth and transformations it makes it more difficult to manage every month.
Customer Support answers quick whenever there are issues, however for the same issue I could be in contact with more than 5 different agents, and sometimes they dont have the same response, so I just give up.
I still dont know exactly how their caching works, since in theory once an asset and its transformation are cached on cloudflare, any request should just pick from the cache and not count towards my spending, however the daily usage is still up and down, meaning there are still calls going to cloudinary and not through the cache.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Image storage, organization and transformation to adapt to different screens sizes.
Steady CDN with quirks
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to setup and there's enough documentation and support to make it all work. Good amount of pre-defined libraries to hook it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very complicated navigation on the site. Hard to figure out transformations taking place. Pricing model for transformations in videos is not transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to store and serve large amounts of images and videos on demand. Allows us transform images on the fly. Allows customers to upload their custom assets to be served to their customers and employees.
Allows us to stream uploaded videos to prevent mp4s from being exposed and downloaded by end users.
We don't need to host CDN ourselves and can rely on Cloudinary to take care of the server up time and traffic.
It allows us to see the amount of traffic to the site and amount of assets being viewed and downloaded by our customers.

The ease of finding the assets easily through search
What do you dislike about the product?
For an asset within a folder, I wanted to know if I uploaded the image against an older image without having to go to Open > Summary navigation. Maybe grouping of the image within the folder will help such case.

Providing a storage system to store the images/videos that can be shared and linked within the web application

Cloudinary are wizards when it comes to images and video
What do you like best about the product?
Cloudinary provides instant transformations on all of out images used in a large scale ecommerce site. They are fast and their image optimizations are insane. We can apply filters, scaling, cropping and a ton of other optimizations through a simple URL parameter and get the image we want/need nearly as fast the first time than an image that already exists.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI / Dashboard could be easier to navigate and to find what you are looking for. I often have to click around a bunch to get what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloudinary provides all of our asset delivery and optimization to our .com and App properties. It is incalculable how much bandwidth they save us, along with keeping our SEO vitals in the green. We're are currently in planning to use them for our complete DAM service provider now that they have built this out more completely.
