What great journey it has been for 4 years
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of starting automation with Katalon is amazing: during an internal course we were able to quickly make it work and have 10 users internally split worldwide script their first Web UI automated scenario with no technical issue or limitation like third party software install / library install / machine configuration...
The fact that a Docker image is provided for remote run with ease and all the capabilities which come with katalon Platform are great comapred to other tools: TestOps website to upload / centralize all tests results with screenshots and video records, visual testing simplified, etc...
Also Katalon does not stand idle and keeps innovating, bringing new features or product, and has both a very active and professional support in addition of a supportive forum community.
Last but not least Katalon still provides a free unlimited version of their studio, with less feature than paying version of course, but it's a clear advantage comapred to competition where often only full version 30 days trial are proposed which can be complicated for demo / training / PoC etc...

What do you dislike about the product?
Perfect for Web UI clearly, whereas not so great for Desktop App test automation...
I guess all this hard work to make Katalon such a great tool comes with a price, explaining why license prices increased significantly over the years and are now close to competition. Yet it is somthing to keep in mind that Katalon is not as affordable as it used to be.

Allows us to hide selenium complexity and make test automation scripting very easy, close to no code but keeping some dev like abilities when needed.

The Most Comprehensive tool for mobile and web testing
What do you like best about the product?
The most thing i like about katalon studio is that it is easy to use because no requried extensive coding knowledge.
Its UI/UX are so easy to understand and integrate which allows me ease my testing workflow.
Due to its highly extensive feature it can be implemented with any of the project for functional testing

What do you dislike about the product?
The thing i least dislike about katalon is sometimes in large testsuite it performance may reduce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me and my team to reduce their bunch of headache for repitation task that need to be test because katalon provide a facilities to do automation test suite and its really freeing up my team in complex and critical scenario.

It is very easy to create roubust framework and reporting bugs

What do you like best about the product?
Creating frameworks became effortless by using this platform.
Grouping of testcases to test suites made execution faster and also enhances report by giving chance to obtain it in different format like csv, html and pdf.

It is very helpful in regression testing, easy to use, easy to understand and having many advantages when compare to other frameworks.

Sometime it take little more time to load. Handling captcha is little bit struggling sometimes.

The katalon studio is an absolute robust tool for the automation testing ,including web mobile and API testing it is easy to use and easy to integrate with jenkins
