Powerful Visual Mind Mapping
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been crucial for me to organize my annual communications plan and map out the year ahead. I love how tactile it is--it feels so good to be able to drag things around and easily make adjustments. It's a must for a visual person like myself!
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are really just that it is not adopted universally, or even particularly in a widespread way. I wish more colleagues used it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a more visual way to organize the dozens of programs that we make available to our membership, and it was living in a spreadsheet. While that spreadsheet was comprehensive, it did not offer the visual organization that Lucid did.
Still learning but seems powerful
What do you like best about the product?
It has made it easier to visualize the workflow we are building out, which is pretty complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to learn all the features and how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a very complex process we are building with a lot of tools being put together. We are using this to visualize it and make it easier to figure out how we will build this.
Some important lacking functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to interface with Lucid via Chat GPT.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was unable to connect Lucid to SQL Server in order to create a visualization that would dynamically update as the underlying data changes. I also found that the shapes were determined by the number of connections and not customizable. In my use case, I had two things that were similar. I wanted to give them a similar color and shape. I can do this in Visio. In Lucid, they had different shapes because one of them connected to one thing downstream while the other connected to multiple things. This makes it harder for the viewer to understand that these two components are similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would like to be able to map out complex processes in Lucid in order to have a simple document to give as an introduction to these processes. This would serve as a references for internal customers to understand the processes quickly.
Beautiful flowcharts but ramp up to proficiency feels difficult
What do you like best about the product?
I think the tool itself lends well to creativity and has opportunities for a wide scope of products
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation of the tool feels difficult and I feel that I won't be able to get up to speed on the right things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us see customer touchpoints across each function of our organization
Easy to use, intuitive tool
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of templates, functions and easy collaborations for teams
What do you dislike about the product?
limited support of some picture format files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual representation of processes, teams, structures
Visual Building Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Suite has a lot of upsides, but most notably is how easy it is to use as a beginner. The user interface is simple, and it makes creating the idea in your head easy. Everything is right in front of you and you don't have to spend too much time searching tabs and pages to find what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you first open a project, the number of options and templates can seem intimidating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the problem of having to explain projects or ideas to people outside of the process. Creating visuals is easy to loop those in who need caught up to speed.
Lucid Suite Review
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to collaborate with others in real time, a lot of features and very clean UI that makes it satisfying to use. The team is great as well with support if issues arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot you can do within it so learning about every single feature can be overwhelming--but well worth it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having maps in place that diagram our processes which Lucid has really helped in allowing us to be more cognizant of improvement opportunities. Mapping can also seem like a solo activity so the collaborative aspect has helped a lot with making sure everyone's opinions are heard
A must have tool for Software Engineers
What do you like best about the product?
One of the first step of moving forward from Proof of Concept into Production of a product is creating a scalable architecture and design. Lucid has been my go-to tool for creating implementation design and it is our main way of collaboration with the team and we use this weekly at minimum. It is easy to do revisions, sharing with stakeholders and can be transferred easy to slide deck.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Lucid without experience is intuitive compared to different visual tool. However, Lucid needs to improve the ergonomics of usage for more advantage features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of use for collaboration for software design, sharing and making me more productive in my role.
In need of a Roadmap

Lucid has endless templates which makes creating a document so much easier. It has many options, such as linkable items, icon packages, that facilitates the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love something similar to RoadMunk integrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to be creative with my documents and my ideas organisation
Great options for organization charts
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the integrability of the app to Microsoft Office worksheets, and its many Org Chart customization features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has taken me time to get advanced access to beta features, and I am looking for a better way to customize the layouts of shapes within a linked org chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is bringing automation into my work in ways that Visio couldn't, making my job easier.
