Great tool for building clear and collaborative workflows

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Lucid makes it to create and share workflows. It’s very visual, so I can map out complex processes clearly and collaborate with others in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the interface can feel a bit crowded when working on large, detailed workflows, and it takes a few extra steps to organize everything neatly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me turn complex ideas into visual workflows that everyone can understand. It makes it easier to align with teammates, document processes, and spot gaps early. This saves time during discussions and keeps projects organized and consistent.

What do you like best about the product?
I like to be able to bang out diagrams and share them outside of my org even if I have to export it. The SSO integration is great for that and export features even more so! I also manage a team using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have how complicated it is to import custom stickers and you should have by default WAYYYY more stickets (AWS, GCP, etc should be in there completely not just partially).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing ideas mostly

Useful for cross-collab amongst cross-disciplined (ie. non-programmer) teams!

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can get input easily from people who aren't software engineers, solution architects, etc. We need to get feedback as EARLY as possible in the design process to ensure we don't spend expensive, excessive. cycles iterating on our product and getting them involved with this product has made that experience smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have experienced latency issues but maybe it's cause I have a global team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a divide in our org where we have solution architects and engineerings building out solutions for legal experts but there is A LOT of iteration involved in satisfying their requirements and this product allows legal teams to get involved in our design proces earlier.

flow chart dreams come true

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is the first time I've leveled up my flow charts and diagrams, with such legitimate software. Finally, there's a way to get everything from my head to paper in a presentable format. The software is incredibly dynamic and adaptable. The templates are a great starting place, and there are so many to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user, and probably only a basic user, but I've definitely had to put some time in to better understand how to use the product. And I'm still learning - it is a little overwhelming at first. But the end result is so much better than any other chart or diagram I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, I would need to provide additional context for any charts or diagrams I sent. But with Lucid, I can include so much more than the chart in the one document. And the layouts are clean and intuitive. Ultimately, It's saving me time, and helping team members better understand whatever it is I am implementing.

A huge library of ready-made templates where I find any type of drawing already semi-ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. Excellent program overall and great at what it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a powerful tool for creating detailed diagrams and delivers professional-quality outputs to communicate effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease in setting up a Lucidchart, ability to provide visibility to the organization in an easy-to-understand format
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a product marketing GTM template more suited to building out process at a new org. I've done this manually but would be nice to have a cleaner start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualization of process to enable all teams associated with a product GTM motion to see how and where they play a role.

awesome and very intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart provides numerous tools for creating flowcharts and visual diagrams. One of its main strengths is the ability to collaborate with teammates in real time, which makes teamwork smoother and more efficient. In addition, it allows users to customize their projects to meet specific goals or styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Team updates may take some time to appear, and occasionally they don’t show up at all, although this can be resolved. The export quality is decent but not excellent. Additionally, logging in is required to use the platform, which can be inconvenient if you need to share a link quickly, since the other person has to create an account and set everything up before viewing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize and visualize ideas more clearly, especially when working on projects that require flowcharts or diagrams. It also makes teamwork easier because everyone can work on the same document at the same time. For me, it’s useful for planning and explaining processes in a more visual and structured way.

A Reliable Visual Tool That Simplifies Complex IoT Workflows

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an IoT Solution Architect, I often have to communicate complex system designs, data flows, and architecture diagrams across teams—from engineering to business stakeholders. Lucid makes this incredibly easy. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I was able to start building diagrams almost immediately without needing much onboarding.

I use it regularly for network architecture, integration flows, and sometimes even for quick brainstorming sessions. The real-time collaboration is a huge plus—especially when working with cross-functional teams or remote stakeholders. Also, the ability to integrate with tools like Google Drive and Slack fits seamlessly into our daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it works great most of the time, I’ve noticed that with larger diagrams (especially detailed IoT architecture maps), performance can get a little sluggish. It’s manageable, but noticeable. Also, some features—like version history or certain export formats—are only available in the higher-tier plans. It would be helpful if some of those were available to all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IoT Solution Architect, I work with complex systems and need to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams. Lucid helps me break down complex architectures into clean, easy-to-understand diagrams. It's also incredibly helpful in aligning remote teams through real-time collaboration. This has improved our planning sessions, accelerated stakeholder alignment, and reduced miscommunication across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I prefer Lucid when creating Landscape diagrams, flowcharts and for process mapping since it is very collaborative and has a good library of shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Randomly find it hard to scroll through.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a comprehensive library of shapes, notations, and other features that I find extremely easy to use, even for beginners. The user-friendly design makes it accessible to anyone, regardless of experience.

Lucid Makes Complex System Design Surprisingly Simple

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes it incredibly easy to turn abstract ideas and complex systems into clear, shareable visuals. As someone who often works on multi-system architecture and data flow designs, the drag-and-drop interface, smart connectors, and shape libraries save tons of time.

I especially love how seamlessly Lucidchart and Lucidspark work together — I can start brainstorming ideas with my team, then transition that into a fully structured system diagram without switching tools. The real-time collaboration, comments, and integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack make it perfect for agile teams and remote work setups.

Overall, Lucid keeps my team aligned — no confusion, no endless meetings, just a shared visual truth that everyone can understand instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on really large or complex diagrams with multiple collaborators, Lucid can sometimes feel a bit sluggish — especially when loading shapes or moving grouped elements. It’s not a dealbreaker, but performance could be smoother for heavy technical diagrams.

Also, while the integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack are great, I’d love to see deeper native integrations with development platforms like GitHub, Salesforce, or ServiceNow. It would make it easier to sync architecture diagrams directly with system metadata or documentation.

Lastly, the pricing tiers can be a bit steep for smaller teams, especially if you need premium features like advanced data linking or enterprise-level security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps bridge the gap between complex ideas and clear communication. Before using it, explaining system architecture, workflows, or integration processes often required long documents or multiple meetings. With Lucid, I can create interactive diagrams that everyone — from developers to stakeholders — can understand instantly.

It also solves the challenge of remote collaboration. Multiple team members can contribute in real-time, comment directly on diagrams, and track changes without confusion. This reduces misunderstandings, accelerates decision-making, and keeps projects moving efficiently.

For me personally, it’s been a huge time-saver in onboarding new team members, planning Salesforce integrations, and running architecture reviews — all in a way that’s visual, intuitive, and actionable.
