awesome and very intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart provides numerous tools for creating flowcharts and visual diagrams. One of its main strengths is the ability to collaborate with teammates in real time, which makes teamwork smoother and more efficient. In addition, it allows users to customize their projects to meet specific goals or styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Team updates may take some time to appear, and occasionally they don’t show up at all, although this can be resolved. The export quality is decent but not excellent. Additionally, logging in is required to use the platform, which can be inconvenient if you need to share a link quickly, since the other person has to create an account and set everything up before viewing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps organize and visualize ideas more clearly, especially when working on projects that require flowcharts or diagrams. It also makes teamwork easier because everyone can work on the same document at the same time. For me, it’s useful for planning and explaining processes in a more visual and structured way.

A Reliable Visual Tool That Simplifies Complex IoT Workflows

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As an IoT Solution Architect, I often have to communicate complex system designs, data flows, and architecture diagrams across teams—from engineering to business stakeholders. Lucid makes this incredibly easy. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I was able to start building diagrams almost immediately without needing much onboarding.

I use it regularly for network architecture, integration flows, and sometimes even for quick brainstorming sessions. The real-time collaboration is a huge plus—especially when working with cross-functional teams or remote stakeholders. Also, the ability to integrate with tools like Google Drive and Slack fits seamlessly into our daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it works great most of the time, I’ve noticed that with larger diagrams (especially detailed IoT architecture maps), performance can get a little sluggish. It’s manageable, but noticeable. Also, some features—like version history or certain export formats—are only available in the higher-tier plans. It would be helpful if some of those were available to all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IoT Solution Architect, I work with complex systems and need to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical teams. Lucid helps me break down complex architectures into clean, easy-to-understand diagrams. It's also incredibly helpful in aligning remote teams through real-time collaboration. This has improved our planning sessions, accelerated stakeholder alignment, and reduced miscommunication across teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
Randomly find it hard to scroll through.

Lucid Makes Complex System Design Surprisingly Simple

  • October 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes it incredibly easy to turn abstract ideas and complex systems into clear, shareable visuals. As someone who often works on multi-system architecture and data flow designs, the drag-and-drop interface, smart connectors, and shape libraries save tons of time.

I especially love how seamlessly Lucidchart and Lucidspark work together — I can start brainstorming ideas with my team, then transition that into a fully structured system diagram without switching tools. The real-time collaboration, comments, and integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack make it perfect for agile teams and remote work setups.

Overall, Lucid keeps my team aligned — no confusion, no endless meetings, just a shared visual truth that everyone can understand instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on really large or complex diagrams with multiple collaborators, Lucid can sometimes feel a bit sluggish — especially when loading shapes or moving grouped elements. It’s not a dealbreaker, but performance could be smoother for heavy technical diagrams.

Also, while the integrations with Jira, Confluence, and Slack are great, I’d love to see deeper native integrations with development platforms like GitHub, Salesforce, or ServiceNow. It would make it easier to sync architecture diagrams directly with system metadata or documentation.

Lastly, the pricing tiers can be a bit steep for smaller teams, especially if you need premium features like advanced data linking or enterprise-level security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps bridge the gap between complex ideas and clear communication. Before using it, explaining system architecture, workflows, or integration processes often required long documents or multiple meetings. With Lucid, I can create interactive diagrams that everyone — from developers to stakeholders — can understand instantly.

It also solves the challenge of remote collaboration. Multiple team members can contribute in real-time, comment directly on diagrams, and track changes without confusion. This reduces misunderstandings, accelerates decision-making, and keeps projects moving efficiently.

For me personally, it’s been a huge time-saver in onboarding new team members, planning Salesforce integrations, and running architecture reviews — all in a way that’s visual, intuitive, and actionable.

What do you like best about the product?
When I began documenting our network setup across various sites in Asia, I was looking for a tool that would help me keep everything organized, consistent, and simple to update, especially since our teams are working remotely. After experimenting with several tools, I found Lucidchart to be among the most dependable solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I map several sites like Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, and add all the routers and VLANs, the diagram can occasionally lag, particularly if the connection is slow. For medium-sized projects, it works well, but when creating highly detailed, enterprise-level maps, the performance can become somewhat sluggish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Love the search function for Cisco icon can be search within the canvas. Using competitor brand, the search are not that fancy and result are not as expected

What do you like best about the product?
I find it useful that each user is able t work individually from their own devices, which really simplifies group collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the many separate devices connected to a single suite, the website often overwhelms, repeatedly removing users from the suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When every member of a group works off of the same device, it becomes difficult for all ideas to be shared. Lucid solves this issue by allowing each member to work from their own device which really improves the work complete by the group.

Powerful and intuitive for team collaboration

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes it really easy to turn ideas into clear visuals that everyone can understand. I like how I can quickly map out product flows, system diagrams, or user journeys and have the whole team collaborate in real time. The interface is intuitive, and the templates save a lot of time when starting new projects. It’s also great that it integrates smoothly with tools like Jira and Slack, so it fits right into our daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
verall, it’s a great tool, but large or complex diagrams can sometimes feel a bit slow to load or navigate. It also takes a bit of time for new team members to get familiar with all the features since the suite offers so much. A lighter desktop version or better offline support would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps solve the challenge of aligning teams around complex ideas and processes. Before using it, explaining workflows, product flows, or system designs often required long meetings or long email threads, which could cause misunderstandings.

With Lucid, I can quickly create clear visuals, diagrams, flowcharts, or brainstorming boards—that everyone can see and edit in real time. This saves time, reduces confusion, and ensures that product, design, and engineering teams are on the same page. It also makes workshops and planning sessions much more productive and engaging.
