So Advanced, It Lacks Some of the Basics
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive design for advanced planning, organizing, and presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more investment in the pure basics: options for creating reporting relationships, trees, hybrid structures, etc. Think about everything needed for basic org chart building before all of the presentation-focused bells and whistles.

Lucid is highly intuitive and easy to use, even for first-time users. It allows teams to visualize ideas, processes, and systems in a clear and collaborative way.

What do you like best about the product?
love how fast and intuitive Lucid’s Visual Collaboration Suite is. The drag-and-drop shape libraries, smart alignment/snapping, and clean templates make it effortless to turn ideas into clear CX/CS workflows and decision trees. Personalization is simple: swim-lanes, icons, and formatting help me tailor diagrams to each audience. Sharing is frictionless, too: links, comments, and presentation mode make cross-functional alignment much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really dislike anything, but one area to improve is print/export awareness. Big diagrams can sneak up on you, everything looks great on canvas, then the PDF/print shows it spilling past one page. A live “page boundary” overlay or one-click “auto-scale to Letter/A4” (with a warning when content exceeds the page) would save time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me turn messy ideas into clear CX/CS workflows, onboarding maps, escalation paths, RACIs, and decision trees, so teams align faster. Real-time collaboration and easy sharing cut back-and-forth and meetings, and standardized diagrams reduce handoff errors. Net result: quicker decisions, smoother implementations, and fewer rework loops.
Easy to use and nice aesthetics
What do you like best about the product?
The lucid visual suite is easy to use with no instruction. The aesthetics of the program are curated, and it is easy to quickly make an aesthetically pleasing, functional piece.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using the visual collaboration suite, some features within text boxes can be a little challenging. For example, bullet points can be challenging to use and copy within the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program helps me map out a large scale program and note all of the little details in a connected way. This makes it easier to track and understand all components.
Lucid chart one stop for working session
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid chart has been really effective and productive for my product development. I am now able to have architecture discussion more effectively, make notes of changes that need to be made and be ready for my visual representation then reading something

There is nothing that I don't like about it but if you ask for what can be improved then yes if we can import database schema directly in editable fashion that would save lot of time

I like LucidCharts. It is easy to use and has fantastic import features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are not as easy to find; additional tutorials were helpful to figure out the tasks.

We have a complicated Org Chart, and a visual is necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
The pre-made or suggested diagrams are really helpful and I liked how you can automatically export a screenshot into a google slide through that easy integration, that is really unique and something I haven't seen before. I think it is good to use for both simple and complicated tasks. I use it very frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you are adding text to a box it can look quite blurry and hard to read.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to create quite expansive mindmaps in my job and the whiteboard option is incredibly useful and easy to use as it is very vast and it's easy to add new steps into it without ruining everything else you have made. It makes my job easier and ensures efficiency

I like how tidy and clean the workspace looks when using it; it really catches the eye.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general, I was taking my first steps in a university job, but I ran out of resources because I use the free version and couldn't complete the task assigned to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have only used what was mentioned in the text box of the previous response, and always with free users.
