Lucid is quick and easy to learn, use, and produce meaningful visualizations fast.
What do you like best about the product?
I have not used it much but in university but it was great to use live in meetings so we could collaborate at the same time. The best feature is being able to see the cursor in real-time of other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my small exposure to this feature, I have not had anything to dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is solving the problem of cluttered documents with my coworkers. Using the charts generated with Lucid is far more helpful than sending a sheet of bullet points
Collaborative and Intuitive, but Needs Broader Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite enables me to quickly come up with diagrams, especially for grading code. The ability to share and collaborate on diagrams with others is a standout feature. Additionally, I appreciate the GUI interface, which enhances the overall usability of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found difficulty in getting initial access to the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Additionally, I would prefer if there was support for Plant UML integrated within the suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product allows me to quickly create and share diagrams essential for coding tasks, fostering team collaboration.
Quite good
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use GUI and fastness response , also separated responsibilities
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes creates the long bugs because of the network issues on server side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working in AI automation, constantly using UML
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, and helps collaboration across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything to dislike at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping our processes and architectures.
Very interactive Visual Collaboration program that is easy to use and export.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing that I have noticed about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the interface itself. There are a lot of templates already available and it is easy to customize. The fact that I was able to put a huge Org Chart into a single file format was huge for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I did not like about the Lucid Visual Collaboration suite is it can be a little tough to share outside of those who have the program installed. The ease of integration if you will. If the person isn't actively involved with the collaboration it is a little tricky to send them the finished product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create an interactive org chart that is more than just a two dimensional table. This benefits me because now you can visibly see the branches in a clear way.
How Lucid made last minute collaboration with my peers easier
What do you like best about the product?
Makes collaborating with my friends much easier without too much clutter going on. The tools, presets, designs, etc. help me to complete my university work effortlessly and as fast as possible for last minute submissions
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't find anything wrong with Lucid so far except for snapping. The lines from shapes that connect to other shapes do not snap to the shapes in a straight line sometimes and it becomes annoying to manually eyeball it myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a final year student that is currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering, Lucid helps me tremendously in creating system architecture diagrams, schemas and flowcharts for my projects. I usually put off stuff like this till the very last day. Collaborating with my peers also proves to be difficult with other apps but not with Lucid. It helps me and my teammates to finish off the diagrams as fast as possible and gives us further time to refine our projects for that final finishing touch.
Easy Collaboration, But Needs Language Support
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite easy to use and user-friendly. The ease of use significantly benefits my collaborative efforts when working on numerous diagrams simultaneously. Additionally, I appreciate the templates, which help accelerate the diagram creation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of multi-language support, especially the inability to edit in Arabic, a limitation. Additionally, I would prefer if there was more compatibility with Microsoft Visio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product facilitates easy collaboration and speeds up diagram creation with user-friendly features and templates.
Lucid is a powerful collaboration tool but some things can still be improved
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible the platform is. It makes it easy to create flowcharts without much learning curve. It is easy to able to work with teammates simultaneously and see changes instantly. The integrations with tools like Google Drive and Slack makes using the platform easy to you and probably just continue your previous work
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance usually slows down with large diagrams, which can make navigation a bit frustrating. Also, I sometimes use the free tier on my personal computer and some of the advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which can be limiting for me while off work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me solve the challenge of bringing projects into a single visual space that everyone can understand. I really don’t need to rely on long documents or scattered notes, I can map out workflows and project timelines in a way that’s easy to share and update. The collaboration features helped to remove the barrier that comes with working across different locations. My team and I can just brainstorm and edit in real time.
A Flexible Tool for Visual Collaboration Across Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has become one of my go-to tools for collaboration, especially when working with cross-functional teams. The interface is intuitive, and it’s easy to get started whether you’re building flowcharts, wireframes, or brainstorming in a more free-form way. I like how it combines structure (with templates and shapes) and flexibility (being able to drag, drop, and link ideas fluidly). The integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive are also really helpful for keeping everything connected.
What do you dislike about the product?
it can feel a little heavy when you’re working on very large, complex boards. Load times can lag slightly, and sometimes the sheer number of features feels overwhelming if you’re just trying to create something simple. Pricing is also something to consider if your team needs access to advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me cut through a lot of the back-and-forth that used to happen when sharing funnels, workflows, or campaign ideas across teams. Instead of static slides that get outdated fast, I can map things out visually and make changes in real time while others are in the document. It’s made it much easier to get non-analytical stakeholders aligned quickly, and I’ve saved a lot of time reusing templates instead of starting from scratch each time.
A pleasant but somewhat perplexing experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Lucid, in my opinion, is how simple it is to transform an ambiguous concept into an understandable diagram. The extensive template library saves a great deal of time, and the interface feels very natural. Lucid provided me with the necessary capabilities to display touchpoints, frontstage and backstage actions, and client interactions in a single layout when I was creating a customer service plan. The fact that sharing was easy and my team could follow my design right away without further explanation was really beneficial to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that can be annoying, despite the platform's strength. I had to be cautious about what I could access as a student because some of the more sophisticated designs and features are only available with the paid subscription. Because the library is so big, it occasionally took me several minutes to find the precise form or symbol I was looking for in the menu. Finally, a smaller laptop screen may appear a bit cluttered while working on large schematics. I believe I can create comparable maps using Canva as well. Additionally, I couldn't utilise it as easily as Canva.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My challenge of explaining intricate procedures in an easy-to-understand visual format was resolved with Lucid's assistance. I had to create a customer service blueprint for my project that included several levels of client interactions, frontstage staff activities, and backstage support procedures. Doing that in PowerPoint or Word would have been messy, but Lucid made it fast . In addition to saving me time, being able to graphically arrange information made my job easier for others to understand.
