From Brainstorming to Execution – A Lucid Experience
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect of Lucid chart collaboration has always been the simplicity that comes with it. You can literally see co-workers building on your ideas as you are working, and the real-time editing makes it feel seamless. It avoids the nightmare of "version chaos" and a lot of the back and forth is eliminated. The user-friendly interface doesn't allow me to waste time figuring out how to do tasks. I must say that I am also very happy that I am able to choose whether to start from scratch or just pick a template and make changes, depending on my need for speed or flexibility. Taking everything into account, it makes the working out and sharing of complicated ideas much easier without having to be a design graduate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Generally the user experience is good, however the product is still with some issues. Orienting the mouse is not always a smooth operation with the center click and panning being still somewhat unergonomic when compared to the other tools. Moreover, since the product is fully browser-based, a really strong internet connection is needed at all times; it would be still better if there was some offline space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is a tool that makes it possible for me to change the incomprehensible ideas into something that everyone can actually see and understand. Rather than having long email chains or slide decks, I am able to draw processes, org charts, or workflows, which are easily accessible, in one place and then share them with the team. The real-time collaboration, which is also very helpful, avoids us from the trouble of different versions everybody is quite literally looking at the same diagram, updating it together, thus, decision-making is accelerated.
Lucid Chart review
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, customizable, built-in templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wasn't able to download the chart in pdf. Plus it can be more human friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it to structure the different processes within my organization. So that it is easier for everyone to understand.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Its intuitive interface and real-time collaboration make teamwork smooth and highly productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall experience is great, but sometimes large diagrams take a bit longer to load. A few more integrations with third-party tools would make it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me quickly create clear flowcharts and high-level architecture diagrams. It saves a lot of time compared to manual tools and makes it easier to present complex processes to my team in a visually simple way. Real-time collaboration ensures everyone stays aligned, which improves productivity and communication.
Great tool to whiteboard, visualize, and summarize
What do you like best about the product?
Highly flexible and shareable built in natively. Easy to use and familiar for those that have used Microsoft Visio. Very easy to navigate (right click and drag) vs other tools like Figma where you must use the frame navigation. I have replaced my general notetaking from Microsoft OneNote to Lucid and use it almost daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
When exporting, to select only a portion of a very large whiteboard space, it does not allow zoom in, so very low precision when selecting and exporting only a certain segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid provides all of the tools of a typical productivity suite, but opens it up in a canvas setting so that you are not restricted by certain app structures when ideating and collaborating. As it's web based, it is natively shareable so that I don't have to create something on my desktop, then share it. The UI and general experience is also smoother than working in shared Microsoft suite files which can feel choppy and an emulated experience, not a native one.
Easy to use, follow, and collaborate with
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is overall super easy to use and is super intuitive, making it easy to collaborate well with teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a little bit easier to scroll from side to side without dragging a mouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping me write automative flows with copywriters
Flexible platform for complex graphics
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Lucid provides standard symbols for flowchart development. It also has the ability to provide custom elements when needed. Easy to change colors for visual impact, add text for clarity, and edit when changes are necessary. Platform is easy to use and I was able to complete my projects with no prior training. I am an infrequent user, but I would 100% use Lucid for other projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I started with free access which allows only 3 saved files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to develop several complex diagrams -- Lucid met my needs
Lucid makes creating Diagrams easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid allows you to build out comprehensive architecture diagrams, with a suite of shapes and fonts to build what is required. It is easy to share within your organisation, collaborate and export.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few more built in icons and a better image searching functionality. As an architect who builds diagrams, the search function lacks a lot of basic icons for cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing and iterating over solution and reference architecture diagrams. This makes it easy to adapt, fix or improve diagrams and make them presentation ready.
Exactly what we needed on a 24/7 site with 300+ workers
What do you like best about the product?
As a superintendent overseeing a complex civil project with rotating day and night shift, I needed a tool that could bring clarity fast.
. Lucid made it easy to map out formwork, concrete placement, and subcontractor responsibilities and keep everyone aligned without confusion
Even guys with limited computer experience were using it to check layouts and update progress.
It helped us reduce miscommunication, catch delivery mismatches, and visually track daily shifts.
After the trial run, I recommended full rollout across the site.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only con-->When diagrams get large or detailed, things can lag ...especially on older tablets or slower connections in the field...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With over 300 workers and multiple subcontractors onsite (concrete, rigging, waterproofing, rebar, etc.), getting everyone aligned is tough. Lucid helped centralize diagrams, crane set ups, concrete pour locations, and material staging plans ,so everyone worked off the same plan
Easy and Convenient Tool for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that we can easily share and collaborate on any feature that we are working on. The support and integration with other tools is greatly beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe could work on a little more freedom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding systems using simple wireframes and components
Modern, Intuitive, and Ideal for Dynamic Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for its modern, contemporary look and ease of use. It's really quick and streamlined, allowing me to create visually attractive workflows efficiently, akin to top-tier programs like Revit or Unreal Engine. I enjoy the endless possibilities it offers for creating open concept projects. I also find the idea of live collaboration tools, similar to Google Sheets, intriguing, which promises seamless collaboration and editing capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed that understanding how everything works in terms of controls was the most challenging part for me, as each program has its unique controls. This was particularly hard since I am more of a technical person and not using visualizing tools daily posed a challenge. Additionally, I attempted to use AI for assistance in setting it up, but it didn't work well for my needs, making the setup process the hardest part. There is also a slight lag experienced in the browser, which seems to come with the open-world type process of the system's functioning, leading to a slowdown in performance. Furthermore, while exploring templates, I felt the need for better organization and more refined use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product to create visually attractive and streamlined project workflows quickly, enhancing my ability to expand concepts with endless possibilities.
