Great for simple diagramming on free plan
What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide variety of templates and shortcuts that make sketching diagrams very fast. Learning shortcuts can take a little bit to fully remember, but then it becomes second nature. I enjoy the additional content that makes collaboration with others more effective, like emoji reactions, comments on specific shapes and sticky notes. The ability to use containers to create a table of contents makes navigation much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the free plan, you can only have 3 charts and 3 boards editable, but there are still workarounds to keep working with more, so I think it's reasonable for being free. The major downside for me is limited shapes. You can't keep on building more complex diagrams. Also, on big Lucidspark whiteboards I noticed significant lag and loading times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create diagrams of undocumented processes much faster than with other tools. I mainly use it to build flowcharts that make source code understandable for non-technical people. Since it’s a highly iterative process, the ability to draft quickly, rearrange space, and easily modify or completely redo parts of the diagram saves a huge amount of time.
Great for Visual Collaboration, but Embedding Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
As part of a cross-functional team that drives the lead management workstream at the company, I frequently rely on Lucid in order to visualize and share knowledge effectively. I like that Lucidchart allows me to share information about systems, movement (e.g. lead flow), and end results, while also representing our company's brand colors and fonts. I also am able to embed Lucid visuals into other tools, such as Confluence pages or Slack channels. There is a bit of a learning curve when you first start using the tool, but our IT team (managing the Lucid relationship) has done a great job of setting up workshops and training sessions with Lucid experts, including a recent session on Lucid AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when Lucid can be kind of clunky or inconvenient to use, especially when embedding into other tools. I previously mentioned that I am able to embed a Lucidchart into a Confluence page. However, this ended up quite large on the page and it was difficult to resize given the restrictions of the Lucid-Confluence integration. Since the whole point of my Lucid usage is to share information with the organization (e.g. sharing via a Confluence hub of pages), that was not ideal, and I did end up using a screenshot and link to the original Lucidchart instead.
As I am a user and not an admin, I cannot speak to the ease of set-up or implementation for Lucid, but I know our company has been using Lucid for some time now.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps us solve the need for visualizing and diagramming business workflows. As a main driver of our lead management workstream, I use Lucid to demonstrate how leads flow from one system to another, how we determine which leads are scored and routed, etc. This information is quite technically complex and most marketers at the company require additional education, so Lucid is key to allowing us to provide that education.
Perfecty aligning lines and blocks to achieve ideation through diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
It easily transforms most of my ideas into diagrams and I can design perfect diagrams with it's robust shapes that I can drag and drop to the canvas easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything negative about it, it seems easy enough for diagramming with a lot of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It serves as my single platform for creating visual diagrams that helps me to visually plan project schedules, allocate resources and track milestones.
Easy Org Chart Creation, But Tools Could Be More Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I needed to create an org chart for work. I wanted a platform where i could upload the info from a spreadsheet. Lucid made it easy.

It look me a little time playing around to understand the different features for modifying my project. I felt the tools could have been more intuitive.

I needed to create a working org chart for work and Lucid was just what I was looking for.
Powerful Features with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The wide range of capabilities along with the software understanding what is being attempted at being created are great! There is a slight learning curve to understand and remember where certain tools can be found within the UI. The support for learning the software is immense and very much appreciated as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a while to figure out where certain tools and shapes were within the whiteboarding section. It would be ideal if there was an understanding by the software as to what was being intended when creating rough shapes, and the system would recommend something based off of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to visualize workflows and processes is immense for me right now. The tools available greatly help in situations where one is trying to establish a process. The large number of templates for the same are very useful as well.
Lucid: Unmatched Remote Team Visual Collaboration tool with two Separate Android Apps
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite (Lucidchart) has a clean and intuitive user interface that needs one not to even pertain design skills to create org charts and flowcharts.
The real-time editing and commenting feature available in this tool enhance collaboration among teams regardless of the location.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is too unfortunate that the vendor has not yet incorporated a built-in conversation AI feature (Just Ask Lucid) to automate workflows through conversations - this isn’t a big issue though since I have integrated it with ChatGPT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming and ideation through Lucidspark enables me and my colleagues to collaboratively work on the same document and project in one place.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite: Flawless Virtual Collaboration for Remote Teams from Any Industry
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for over four years now in the Telecommunications industry. I rely on both Lucidchart and Lucidspark since they offer different features but more robust when combined. Through virtual white-boarding, It is easy to generate ideas and sometimes I integrate with Copilot to generate such ideas automatically.

I won’t talk more about Lucidchart, but Lucidspark is flawless as it accomplishes all my virtual collaboration needs.

Uncovering key aspects and themes has been easy with the help of Lucid which generate and sort ideas through artificial intelligence.

However, using the individual tier wasn’t the best moment for me before upgrading to Team since I couldn’t use the mobile apps.

Lucidspark allows us (teams) to collaborate on the sane documents and projects simultaneously which improve business performance leading to high ROI.
Effortless Visuals, But Premium Features Locked Behind Paywall
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is make my visuals for my presentations. I can just drag and drop and see everything comes into place. I also loved how it can easily be shared to teammates for better collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how restricted it is, to a point where you have to pay to use premium features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes my presentations more understandable using charts. I work in technology, so I often need to explain technical concept, or show the entire processes of the project, so having something like Lucid that can help me bring the visual representation from my mind into my PowerPoint slides make my life easier. As a result, people understand better what I'm talking about.
