  • October 29, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
The site is really easy to use for basic charts, especially flowcharts, i.e. for computer algorithms. High number of boxes and arrows
What do you dislike about the product?
Its fast and has everything necessary for a chart site but sometimes it is slow graphically as in, animations such as moving the boxes isnt smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of a lack of a decent modern flowchart maker. It is benefitting me as it enables me to finish my charts fast and effectively for school.

developer using lucid

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who works in business systems, I really value how Lucid enables teams to visualize processes, data flows, and system interactions in a way that’s easy to understand and collaborate on. The real-time editing and commenting features make cross-functional collaboration seamless, especially when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. I also appreciate the integrations with key tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack, which help maintain alignment and keep documentation current. Overall, Lucid makes it much easier to drive efficiency and shared understanding across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many features, templates, and diagramming options, so without a bit of guidance, the interface can seem complex. In team environments, this sometimes means extra time spent onboarding or ensuring everyone understands how to use the tool consistently.

That said, once the initial learning curve is passed, the flexibility becomes a major advantage. Clear documentation and template use usually address this quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy to create dependency diagrams and erd diagrams

Excellent for Collaboration, But P&ID Features Could Be Deeper

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Lucid visual Collaboration suite is that it makes it incredibly easy to create, share and collaborate on diagrams and workflow. I have been implementing a lot of P&ID diagrams to support my own knowledge around ERF plants and instrumentations utilised. This is particularly good when working with a remote team, so that everyone can stay aligned and contribute efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is very powerful, it lacks some features and depth in the P&ID sections, which can be challenging when creating a real life process. In addition, i feel that some range of features can be overwhelming for new users which would require a bit of a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been beneficial for creating and updating P&ID and other technical process diagrams used in engineering projects. It enabled me to support senior engineers by clearly documenting the work flow, diagrams and instrumentations in a simplified and sharable format. It makes it easier to gain feedback and improve communications between the engineering team, even working remotely. The documentations therefore have been more streamlined to translate the process design concepts into practical system layouts.

Intuitive and Effortless Chart Creation

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This software is extremely intuitive right from the beginning. As soon as I started using it, I found it easy to navigate and quickly understood how to create charts just as I had imagined. Creating workflows and organizational charts has become much simpler. I was able to put together an organizational chart for one of our business concepts and transfer it from Excel without any trouble. As I start developing more process flows and training templates for work, I anticipate using this tool even more often.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sheer number of shape options to be overwhelming when I'm trying to choose the ones I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes it easy to create visually appealing organization charts that are useful in guiding people to contacting the right person. It also allows for the creation of workflow processes that are easy to follow for new individuals.
