Super Easy-to-Use Interface
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike a lot of other tools (like Canvas), it is much simpler on the eyes and quite easy to navigate. I would highly recommend to another developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is a large learning curve, especially for people who have not done too much past experiences with making diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a shared visual understanding, teams can struggle to get on the same page, especially with complex systems or processes. Lucid addresses this by providing a visual space to clarify concepts, align on issues, and document workflows.
Easy to Use Yet Powerful—Minor Drag Issues Easily Fixed
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, yet complex nature of Lucid. A new user is able to pick up the platform in minutes, and experienced users are able to leverage the platform for robust use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides I have experienced thus far are simple issues with inadvertent click and drag of objects, but the undo function makes this simple to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is providing a unique tool to effectively map out various thoughts and ideas, and have allowed me to expand upon those ideas in a visual way.
Effortless Diagramming, AI Features Still Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
Creating diagrams in Lucid is incredibly straightforward. It's the best tool I've used for making architecture diagrams, allowing me to present my ideas clearly and visually.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the AI features could use some improvement. Whenever I try to create an AI-driven diagram, I find myself going from Gemini to Mermaid and then to Lucid, because Lucid doesn't catch minor issues in the Mermaid schema.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Staff Software Engineer, I frequently lead projects and design architectures. For me, Lucid is the most effective tool for these tasks. Its visual editor makes it easy to quickly iterate and create live diagrams while brainstorming solutions.
Intuitive and Easy, But AI Features Lag Behind Competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is very intuitive and simple to use. I frequently create diagrams to map out my business processes and rely on spark boards for brainstorming sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the AI features are really lagging behind. Figma is doing some pretty awesome things with their AI generated diagrams and such

Helps me visualize our customer journey, and helps me see where gaps in our process are.
Super Intuitive and Easy to Use from Day One

What do you dislike about the product?
I have only been using it for a month or so, I haven't had any trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before lucid, I struggled making a flow chart on power point. This is much easier and time efficient.
User-Friendly Design, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Look and feel is very easy to use, the different applications provide a lot of different features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any significant challenges with the tool; it's straightforward and user-friendly. My only concern is that it has become somewhat more expensive recently.

Lucid’s Automation Saves Time, Minor Learning Curve Worth the Benefits
What do you like best about the product?
One of the main advantages of using Lucid is its automation, which stands in contrast to the traditional manual approach. This not only saved a significant amount of time but also reduced the risk of errors or accidentally omitting important elements from my diagram. Thanks to this, I was able to dedicate more attention to the essential aspects of my work rather than struggling with other program’s limitations. Additionally, I appreciated the updated icons, which were both accurate and easy to locate.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I wouldn't call it a drawback, I did experience a bit of a learning curve, which I think is entirely normal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite addresses the problem of outdated and inaccurate visualization tools by automatically creating diagrams of cloud infrastructure that are easy to understand.
Excellent Visual Tool, But Steep Learning Curve for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is a very visual product and is great for those who need or like to use visual aids to map and plan out their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI has made it much more user friendly but the bar to entry to be comfortable on the product is quite high. It's assumed you have a degree of understanding of visual collaboration before hand which is both a good and bad thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now we're trying to get our product development teams to start using it in collaboration with Jira
Great Visual Tools and Smooth Integration, But Limited Free Shapes

I could have added more shapes in the free cersion
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It resolve brainstorming and communicating vision with employee
Powerful collaboration and features, but steep learning curve for new users
What do you like best about the product?
The Lucid Visual Collaboration suite enables multiple users or stakeholders to collaborate on the same document simultaneously. Additionally, the ability to add various symbol libraries, such as BPMN 2.0, is a significant advantage over the competition. The pre-existing templates are excellent, and Lucidchart integrates smoothly with other platforms like Atlassian Confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an experienced user, I don't have any major dislikes myself. However, when it comes to teaching others how to use Lucid, it can feel overwhelming. What I mean is that for first-time users, Lucid's interface doesn't seem very intuitive, and learning how to manage folders and share files takes some effort, unlike with other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who often creates BPMN flows, I find Lucid to be an ideal tool for this purpose. Its intuitive interface allows me to quickly assemble flowcharts, and the customizable symbol library makes the whole process much more efficient and streamlined.
