What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create clear, professional diagrams with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. I enjoy collaborating with others in real time, which is a standout feature for me. I also appreciate the better collaboration and accessibility since it's cloud-based, compared to Visio. It integrates well with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, making it convenient to share and present diagrams. The initial setup was fairly easy too; we quickly created a workspace and invited team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes large diagrams can become slow to load or navigate when many elements are added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to visualize complex processes and systems, making them easier to understand. It allows me to create clear, professional diagrams and collaborate with others in real-time, improving accessibility and team collaboration.
Customizable AI Diagram Generation That Delivers
What do you like best about the product?
the thing liked best was its AI feature that can be used to generate diagrams making diagram generation easier and the fact that you can customize it because it has little errors in the generated diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their trial version does not last longer as other productivity apps do.

It help to design professional wireframe diagrams and flowcharts which is very essential in projects that I handle in my company

I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite primarily for flowchart preparation. It's a good tool that makes it easy to prepare flowcharts. The best thing I feel about it is that the tools are easy to find and use. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be very easy.

I think the size of the page is pretty small and it could be made bigger.

It makes complex ideas easier to understand and helps the team stay aligned. I like that it's easy to use and helps the team visualize ideas clearly.
The drag-and-drop diagrams and pre-made templates are very helpful because they make it quick to create clear visuals without starting from scratch, which saves time and makes workflows easier to understand. It’s also quick to set up, and the integration with Microsoft Teams helps with real-time collaboration. The customer support resources and documentation are also helpful when we need guidance.

One challenge is that large diagrams can become cluttered, and editing or moving many elements at once can be a bit slow. When diagrams contain many shapes and connectors, dragging or rearranging them sometimes lags. Improving performance for complex diagrams would make the experience even better.

- With many contributors, the board can get visually busy and require manual cleanup
- More built‑in facilitation features (e.g. timed rounds or automatic grouping) would further support workshops

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart worked very well for running the brainwriting session based on a predefined template. The template structure made it easy to kick off the workshop quickly and kept everyone aligned on the objective. Participants could contribute ideas in parallel, which reduced bias, encouraged quieter team members to share input, and resulted in a diverse set of ideas for the team event.
Collaboration was smooth and intuitive—real‑time editing, comments, and visual grouping helped the team build on each other’s ideas without confusion. The visual format made it easy to spot themes and cluster similar suggestions, which was especially useful during the synthesis phase.

I like the easy-to-use interface, drag-and-drop diagram tools, and real-time collaboration features that make creating and sharing diagrams very simple. The initial setup was very easy and quick, and the interface is simple, allowing me to start creating diagrams without any difficulty.

Some advanced features require a paid plan and large diagrams can sometimes load a little slowly.

I was facing difficulty in mangaing and explaining chatflows over paper, with the software I was able to demonstrate it easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for my Project Management module, and it really helps in turning complex project schedules and structures into clear visual diagrams. This makes project management concepts much easier to understand and communicate. The software allows me to better organize and manage my tasks, which in turn makes complex projects easier to handle. I appreciate how it helps reduce errors in critical pathways and lets me visually map out project structures like Work Breakdown Structure and Network Diagrams. I also like that I can screenshot my diagrams in different options such as PDF or image, which makes it simpler to incorporate them into documents. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and not technical at all, requiring no training, which is great. Lastly, the ability to quickly organize information and graphs when things change along the process is a real plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the viewing and zooming experience when working on larger diagrams. Sometimes it's difficult to zoom in smoothly, and quite challenging to view the whole diagram. Can be a bit tricky to capture a full screenshot when working with larger and complex diagrams. I would say perhaps adding more built-in templates for project management tools such as Work Breakdown Structure, Critical Paths, Gantt charts, with more complex features, and will not need zoom in options.

Essential for Students, But Pricing a Barrier
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for creating maps and visual diagrams, which is a key part of my Industrial Design research as a student. It allows me to easily create diagrams to communicate my ideas effectively with flow charts and templates. The templates are very helpful in making the process easy, and the connecting arrows make it easy to associate ideas together. Additionally, I often find myself exporting my Lucid charts to other presentation platforms with ease. Setting up Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have limitations due to pricing. As a student, I may not be able to afford upgrades, but what I was able to use was really helpful.

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to easily create diagrams and communicate my ideas with flowcharts and templates, but as a student, pricing limits my access to all features.
