Easiest tool of such kind to draw effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
It has the features I expect - shapes, grouping, auto-align, and Smart Guides to simplify the process of arranging shapes neatly which make putting together a flowchart very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires greater focus in order to use it, and for me that is not an issue so I can’t complain about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s good for creating flowcharts to make points clearer for students which is very helpful in learning.
Unified Visual Collaboration, but Large Boards Can Lag
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Lucid VCS brings the whole delivery journey onto one visual canvas. Lucidspark is brilliant for fast, messy ideation (sticky notes, voting, timers), then you can mature that thinking in Lucidchart into clear process maps, system/architecture diagrams, and RACI/flows—without losing context or stakeholders. With Lucidscale, being able to auto-visualise cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) from real data makes architecture reviews and risk spotting much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards can get sluggish, especially with many images/widgets.
Permissions/guest access feel fiddly—easy to over/under-share.
Version sprawl (many copies of the same board) without strict naming rules.

Version sprawl (many copies of the same board) without strict naming rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the “alignment gap” from idea → build → operate. It gives us one visual source of truth—so product, engineering, and stakeholders see the same plan, process, and architecture.
Easy To Use, UI Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how simple it is to turn ideas into something visual. Whether it’s a flowchart, a quick layout, or mapping a process, it just works. The drag-and-drop feels natural, and I can tidy things up fast without it feeling fiddly. It’s also great that I can jump between different types of diagrams in one place without having to start from scratch each time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much I really dislike, but sometimes the layout tools can be a bit touchy when I’m trying to line things up. I also think the UI could be a bit simpler/neater nothing major though just small things that add up when you’re working fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mainly for sitemaps and mapping out customer journeys for mail campaigns. It helps me see everything clearly in one place how pages connect, where users might drop off, and what needs improving. Having that visual overview makes planning so much easier, and it saves me a lot of time compared to doing it in notes or spreadsheets. It seems to be quicker than most other softwares that ive used.
Seamless Team Collaboration, Minor Slowdowns On Large Boards
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how seamlessly it brings teams together to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas in real time. The platform’s intuitive interface and flexible templates make it easy to map out strategies, workflows, and campaign structures - whether I’m working internally with my team or collaborating directly with clients. I especially appreciate the live collaboration and commenting tools, which help streamline feedback and keep everyone aligned on goals without endless email threads or slide revisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that larger, more complex boards can sometimes become cluttered or slow to load, especially when multiple collaborators are active at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an account manager, Lucid’s Visual Collaboration Suite helps solve the challenge of keeping teams and clients aligned throughout complex projects. Its powerful diagramming capabilities make it easy to visualize processes, campaign structures, and client workflows in a clear, interactive way. This visual clarity eliminates confusion that often arises from scattered documents or lengthy email threads. The shared visual workspace also enables real-time and asynchronous collaboration, helping teams gather feedback, streamline approvals, and stay aligned. Overall, it improves communication, productivity, and client satisfaction by turning complex ideas into easy-to-understand visuals that drive faster decisions.

As an automation engineer, I deal with complicated workflows and systems all the time and being able to map them out visually save a ton of headaches. I can quickly sketch out pipelines, see where things might break and share it with the team without writing any big explanations. The real time collaborations is awesome too, getting feedback instantly instead of waiting for emails keeps projects moving. It cuts down on miscommunication and keeps everyone aligned.
