Excellent for Handling Complex Scenarios with AI-Driven Diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite primarily to visualize complex, branching decision trees and various scenarios depending on current decisions. I appreciate the AI's depth when given the right prompts. I also value its AI diagram creation, especially its ability to handle complex prompts effectively compared to other AIs. The initial setup was easy and much more straightforward than I expected, allowing me to get to work right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the free version could allow for a higher number of maximum shapes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for visualizing complex decision trees and brainstorming data organization. It helps me solve ambiguous problems and create career paths, especially with its ability to handle complex prompts that other AI tools don't manage well.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI of Lucid. That is why, when my work is requires me a lot of visualizations, like flowcharts, I have to use Lucid. There are free alternatives, like draw.io, but most of them feels clunky to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It comes with a cost. Maybe add some more templates and icons I could use in the visualization.

I also appreciate the wide variety of templates and integrations that help streamline workflows and save time. Overall, it’s a very effective tool for turning complex ideas into clear visual communication.

One downside is that performance can sometimes slow down when working with very large or complex diagrams. In addition, some advanced features are only available in higher-tier plans, which may be limiting for smaller teams or occasional users.

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked how easy it was to create visuals like a genogram or family tree. It was straightforward to navigate and felt very beginner-friendly overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more shape options available so I could create a more detailed, well-structured visual, such as a genogram.

It helps me complete the projects I need for school, and I expect it will be useful later in my professional practice as well.

The interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for new team members to jump in without a steep learning curve. The real-time collaboration features are seamless; seeing everyone’s cursors and edits live makes remote brainstorming feel as productive as being in the same room.

While the suite is powerful, the sheer number of templates can sometimes be overwhelming when starting a new project. Additionally, the performance can occasionally lag slightly when working on extremely large, complex diagrams with dozens of simultaneous collaborators.

It has bridged the gap for our hybrid team by replacing static whiteboards with a dynamic, living document. It solves the problem of version control in design and process mapping, allowing us to collaborate on complex workflows and reach consensus much faster than using traditional presentation tools.

I like how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is easy to use and straightforward. It has a linear learning curve, which is helpful for getting started. I also appreciate the drag and drop tool since it's very easy to use for encompassing all our architectural decisions and patterns, representing them at their best. Additionally, the setup was very straightforward.

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to collaborate on workflows and align on architectural patterns. It provides a unified interface for collaboration, decision making, and communication with comment features, plus permission settings for team access.
Comprehensive Flowcharting and UML Design with Plenty of Shape and Arrow Options
What do you like best about the product?
The flowchart and UML-making tool was very comprehensive and had a variety of options for arrows and other shapes that are otherwise unavailable or inconvenient on most other design tools (e.g., Figjam's lack of assorted shapes). It was relatively easy to get started, and I enjoyed the process; the YouTube videos Lucid made for new users of UMLs were very helpful in smoothly getting started.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was deceiving. It has a limited number of shapes you can use before being subjected to a paywall. There was no warning of this, and it's not like what I already made was compatible with integrating with another design tool, so it came as a shock. I do not use it frequently anymore after that one-time use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a computer science student, I often have to design a UML for every project I am assigned. It was difficult to find a comprehensive design tool for this that had all the shapes and arrows I needed, so Lucid was very helpful when I first found it (before realizing the number of SHAPES is hidden behind a paywall).
Intuitive Flowcharting with Clear Shapes and Easy Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive and easy to use. There are clear descriptions of the different shapes and when to use them. It's easy to collaborate and share with others as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I had was the way you have to click and drag to navigate your flow chart, rather than the usual scrolling. But once you get used to it, it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's not a problem per se, but more an idea we are trying to sell to the business for a new process in our sales and CS orgs. Having this visual really helps give leadership a clear understanding the solution we are proposing.
Highly Customizable Charts with a Flexible, Expanding Creative Space
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how customizable it is! I’m able to move different shapes and points in my chart easily and the arrows follow along as well. Along with that, I enjoy that the creative space keeps growing as I add more to my chart!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option for small graphs to minimize and then expand, I’m not quite sure how to explain it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s difficult for me to find a site that had charts that were so customizable, so I’m thankful Lucid Co is solving this problem!
