I enlisted the help of Lucid to build out my event floor plan that is taking place in a high school.
What do you like best about the product?
That you can pay monthly for it and it is in expensive compared to competition. I don't need a year round floor planning tool, I only require it during certain months so Lucid won my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am new to the tool so I may not have figured out the way to do it yet but I dislike that I can't input the length of a wall I want in Ft & Inches and then it auto populate to that size. I have spend SEVERAL hours manually dragging walls to proper distances to make my drawing to scale.
I also am not a fan that sometimes it doesn't allow you to chose the exact measurement of a wall. It seems like it will let you get close but not exact as it tries to align with other objects but I need it to just set to the length I require not whatever it chooses to stop at or jump to.
Take a long time to copy drawings and align them if working on multiple in one sheet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inexpensive solution for sporatic monthly usage of a floor plan tool that allows me to build out and design events to scale and share those visuals with others.
My Experience with Lucid Chart
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of creating documents,pre-customise templates
What do you dislike about the product?
In the current format, I am unable to collaborate with Lucidchart users (who use free plan) to make changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our non-profit, workflows were traditionally content based. Lucid chart translated it into illustrated - worflows - which is much easier to comprehend
Top tier collaboration and brainstorming tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to understand and navigate, even easier to put ideas onto a canvas and share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be great to be able to see historical data easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping out items in a chronological order and its helping diagram to visually understand workflows easier.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been really impressed with how easy it is to use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Its intuitive interface allows me to jump right in without needing a lot of time to figure things out. The drag-and-drop features, along with the customizable templates, make creating everything from flowcharts to diagrams incredibly straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been incredibly effective for my needs. It helped me achieve my goals smoothly, and I didn’t encounter any issues during my use. The platform has met all my expectations, and I’ve been very satisfied with how everything works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enabled me to visualize the data sources in a diagram, share it effortlessly with stakeholders, and make updates with ease.
Phenomenal product that replaces the office whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
I love how fast it is to go from a blank slate to a beautiful and comprehensive set of charts, all linked and able to be commented on by collaborators. For asynchronous work, or where the teams are not all in one building, this is a must-have tool. I use this every day for strategic planning, and have implemented into our development planning sessions with ease! My team was quick to integrate this into our flow. The support team reached out for feedback and were responsive to commentary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love for there to be more functionality around Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), specifically being able to import from say, and excel file, and being able to generate an ERD based on sheets/tables and column-headers/fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given that our team is not all in the same building, sometimes we need to do some whiteboarding to think through complex processes, and Lucid is our means of doing so. Other tools that have whiteboarding features do not come close.

I think the free trial could have been longer, or more included

It's allowing us to map customer journey

What do you like best about the product?
So easy to use to create a mind map and the number of features available with single click. The dashboard which allows to play freely is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
More active themes or ready made chart templates option at the forefront would be a great option like in flourish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to use and collaborative suite from lucid is helping us create charts that tell the growth story of our team's perfomance or explain complex technical architectural diagrams.
Very easy for anybody to pick up and start using
What do you like best about the product?
The simple functions that most softwares use are the same, making transfer easy. And real time updates from other users within the same project.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of limited shapes on the free plan.

A wireframing project for a new order portal with my company. Making it much easier to share and implement.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows me to quickly visually show solutions to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes hard to scroll when large flows are in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly being able to spin up customer journey flows with custom visuals.
Nice tool, but doesn't offer much above the free options available
What do you like best about the product?
Some additional automation like typing "yes" or "no" in a decision tree automatically changes the color of the line.
What do you dislike about the product?
The freemium model is very limited in terms of the lack of shapes. I can use other tools like Figma with an infinite canvas and do not have these restrictions. Once I did pay for the trial, I didn't see anything above and beyond what I get for free with Figma aside from being able to save a number of files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My specific problem was being able to collaborate on a flow diagram with a partner. Using the free trial allowed me to break through the number of shapes barrier. But when the trial ran out, I don't have a good reason to continue.
