Reviewing Lucid: A Productive Tool
What do you like best about the product?
One of the few best things of Lucid is that it is ideal to draw diagrams, for data visualisation, and to collaborate on the same platform, that too in real-time. It maks daily frequent meetings like Scrum much easier! Interface and UI is also clean and great.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing would be that the more advanced features would take more time to learn and implement especially if you are a new user. Also, the premium subscription prices can be a little high, which may not be good for teams within a smaller budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid makes it easy to solve problems like making complex ideas and projects, which is easier to share. With Lucid you can create diagrams and charts that everyone can see at the same time and work on it together thus saving time. It is also beneficial as it makes teamwork and planning smoother since anyone on the team can their input.
Nice features, centered on usecases with ample choice of different templates
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to start by chosing visual features based on task/product/project, easy to share and collaborate with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be hard to start creating new diagram if usecase does not follow one of the proposed templates, not obvious how to make team to use consistent types of visual representation (need to agree off-line to use certain subset of visuals), need more generic templates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration is very easy with Lucid, especially for teams with remote workers and offices in different locations.
Easy to use charts to create, and what's more important to keep updated as systems change.

Modern UI for Visual Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Enhancements over Visio, specifically collaboaration abilities and overall UI for symbols.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exporting via PDF or Visio format sometimes has compatability issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves problem with sharing diagrams with internal and external users who may not have Visio.
Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
The business process diagrams templates and other process templates which we can resue for our business process explanations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now there is nothing which I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the ease at which I can explain a process to another user instead of them reading long paragraph’s to understand where they can just look at a diagram and understand the whole process.
User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user friendly tools and features
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating from creating the charts to managing files is not always the more intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My colleagues really appreciate flowcharts to understanding requirements and Lucid enables that
Intuitive and easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
There are simple but very helpful and thoughtful features for diagramming. For example, the arrows stay attached to shapes even when they move; building a key allows you to easily drag and drop new shapes using the same design; there are a lot of shapes and diagram templates to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming to get started. Starting a new account with a template to demo different features would be helpful. Changing the arrow type is really confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative digramming
Visual Delight
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to us all essential flowchart elements just like Microsoft Visio and in some occassions better than Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the tool can allow automatic aligment of elements as per the size of the element and the whole page of the diagram. That can speed up the work of the user even faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first problem it is solving is being an alternative to Microsoft Visio for those who use a Mac and do not have the Microsoft 365 license
It is better in terms of the ability to auto save and provide reference to the history and versions from the past

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can sometimes feel a bit laggy with larger files, which disrupts workflow during intense brainstorming sessions.
Some features feel a bit complex at first and could benefit from more onboarding resources or tutorials for new users.
Pricing could be more flexible, especially for smaller teams or freelancers who might not need the full suite of features.

Powerful and Intuitive Tool for Seamless Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has become an essential part of our workflow for planning, brainstorming, and aligning our team on complex projects. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and vast template library make it easy for anyone on the team to jump in and start collaborating, regardless of their technical skill level. The integration with other tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace is a huge plus, allowing us to seamlessly bring data and updates into our visualizations. Real-time collaboration features, such as simultaneous editing and comments, make remote teamwork effortless and ensure everyone stays on the same page. The Suite's flexibility across various use cases—flowcharts, wireframing, and organizational charts—makes it versatile and adaptable to multiple departments within our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid offers a robust set of features, the pricing can feel a bit steep for smaller teams, especially if not every team member needs all the premium features. Additionally, some advanced features (such as integrations with high-end tools) are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can limit flexibility for users on a budget. Occasionally, more complex documents can feel sluggish or require a longer loading time, especially when a lot of visuals are involved. However, overall, these drawbacks are minor compared to the value it brings to our collaborative processes.
