Flexible, complete, and well integrated diagramming app
What do you like best about the product?
We find that Lucid excels in the ease of use, all the elements are intuitive to configure.
Secondly, we like the integration with other platform, currently, for us, Confluence and Slack.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides. Documents shared by others can't be organized in folders (but the workaround would be to create a Team, in most cases). When a document is already opened, you need a roundabout way to find its location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid provides an easy-to-use tool for documenting technical flows, business processes, and more; we can easily share these with colleagues, and the collaboration is easy too.
It became so common, that we use it also for simple diagrams, rather than drawing them using other tools that maybe were not designed for it.

Great experience

I loved the ease of use of Lucid. My team and I use it for whiteboarding, quickly creating org charts and so much more. The tool is very intuitive and everyone on the team loves it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have an constructive feedback on how to make product better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote team so Lucid allows us to have whiteboarding sessions regularly which was crucial for our brand new team.
Easy to draw and visualize.

A nice way to make diagrams and flow charts for engineers
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty intuitive to use the basic functions, and there's a wide variety of tools to bring to the chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was very difficult to get access through my company to a Lucid license. I also didn't like that before I had my license I couldn't view document history which seems like a very basic functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making complex collaborative graphs
Great Visual Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
That it is intuitive to understand, doesn't need any training or handholding.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I can think of, maybe you can make collaboration a little easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily draw the data flow as I am a Technical Product Manager
Great tool for all your diagram needs
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. All the latest shapes and arrows available. Most important all cloud logos available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not move the diagram. I need to right click and hold to move the bigger diagram. If you can provide other easy option, it would be great.
While we right click and hold button, sometimes it distorts the diagram content.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to convert your thought process in to diagram easlily. I created multiple architecture diagrams and charts. It is very easy.
Great Jira Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to get started and collaborate with others to plan out larger software features that syncs directly back to Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing only works if everyone has expensive licenses. It would be nice if they could collaborate on my boards by virtue of me having a licence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visually planning out larger software features by visualising how the components link and block each other.
Lucid help us collaborate visually, brainstorm and organize ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
Whai I find most impressive about Lucid is its seamless integration of tools like Lucidchart and luicid spark which enable real-time collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
One potential drawback is that it can become overwhelming for new users due to its wide range of features and tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of fragmented communication and inefficient collaboration especially in remote/distributed teams. By offering tools like Luicidchart, it allows teams to visually map out processes and ideas.
Helpful to document process quickly during workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Online system which can easily be shared
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it is not easy to adjust the formatting on the charts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping business processes
Supercharged collaboration on diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that multuple can edit at the same time. Instead of passing around a docx or a slide deck that has your architecture diagram, the collaboration suite gives you the ability to easily edit diagrams as a team as opposed to separately!
What do you dislike about the product?
The cursor interface for showing other people editing the visualization (typically an arhitecture diagram for me) is distracting, can make it more difficult to focus on the task at hand when collaborating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The visual collaboration suite helps me create and present potentially future state architecture diagrams to prospective customers
