Product Support Engineer
What do you like best about the product?
The three main things I like about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite are that its simple to use. This makes it easy to get started right away without much help. Next, I like that it looks very professional and clean. Finally, it's very inexpensive. I am paying for this out of pocket and I wouldn't be able to do this if it was more expensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike that the login visual security verification, the one that asks you to click on all the images that have a motorcycle or a traffic light, seems to have a bug in it. It never lets me pass. I keeps me clicking on and on. I have reverted to only using the audio security verification. That let's me in right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me give a visual representation of what I have written in text. This make it easy for those who read my documentation to follow the flow. Right now, I'm the only one on my team using it. But soon my team will be using it and we will be able to collaborate within the application which will be huge.
Lucid is great for many types of visual outputs, including flow charts, decision diagrams, and more
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of Lucid, I'm able to use it for a vareity of different tasks, including creating customer flow charts, decision tree diagrams, optionality visuals and more. It's sorta like Powerpoint, but much more easy to use and we've implemented this pretty fast given how user-friendly it is. Lucid also has great customer support that you can reach out to if you need any help. You can also add it to Google Suite, Slack, and other tools, so it can be integrated nicely with other apps. I use it pretty frequently, almost weekly if not more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are SO many options when it comes to coloring, formatting, overall styles, etc. While so much customization is great for a lot of features, it can sometimes feel overwhelming and hard to pick a specific style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a B2B2C company, we often need to understand how our upstream actions will impact our downstream customers at the very end of the day, and using tables and charts in slides can get overwhelming pretty fast. Lucid is great because there are no "pages" or "slides" -- you're able to make a flow chart or any diagram as long or as wide as you need.
A Game-Changer for Our Remote Team
What do you like best about the product?
Here's why I've fallen in love with it:
Bringing ideas to life: I'm a visual thinker, and Lucid's diagramming tools have been a godsend. Whether I'm mapping out a new project workflow or brainstorming ideas with my team, the intuitive interface makes it a breeze to translate thoughts into clear, shareable visuals.
Real-time magic: The real-time collaboration feature has genuinely transformed our team meetings. Watching ideas evolve on screen as team members contribute simultaneously is not just efficient—it's exciting. It's brought an energy to our brainstorming sessions that we were missing in our remote setup.
Seamless integrations: I was skeptical about adding another tool to our tech stack, but Lucid's integrations with our existing tools (especially Slack and Jira) have made adoption painless. It feels like it was made to slot right into our workflow.
Accessibility for all: I love that I can invite team members or clients to collaborate without worrying about their tech-savviness. The learning curve is gentle enough that everyone can contribute effectively.

I Recommend Lucid Suite To Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
I am professional genealogist, so I like the ease that I can create family charts and timelines with Lucid.
What do you dislike about the product?
When dragging lines that aren't connected to anything it isn't really easy to keep them straight. It seems to default to dragging a new point in the middle rather than the line as a whole.
Also, I really wish you could set a specific number of spaces per grid section. For instance, when doing time lines I would love to be able to customize the grid with 5 spaces per quadrant. That would allow me to set up 5 year increments and have it be 100% accurate when adding events. As it is now, it always shows me four, so it's more of an approximation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a very visual person, so seeing my customer's family history laid out on a timeline is very important. I realize this isn't a typical use case, but LucidChart makes it SO easy to lay down a line, add year markers and then add events with connecting lines joining the horizontal time line.
Although I have huge family trees in proper genealogy software, when working through a particularly puzzling relationship, it is nice to be able to create just a small segment of a couple of trees to compare where people fit in. I have tried using the Org Chart template in Lucid and while it works, I still prefer just doing mine from scratch.
