A flexible and intuitive visualization program for narrative design
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has a wide variety of templates to get you started on many sorts of projects that have data complexity and branching possibilities. I appreciate how easy it is to find what you need using the Feature Find tool, and I also have made great use of the Layers functionality for isolating & breaking down elements of my flowcharts/floorplans. I use it all the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
As a games and experiential designer, I find that there aren't many templates that are specifically suited to narrative design within Lucid — which means I have to create my own. While there are more than enough tools for doing so within the product, I wouldn't mind there being more options in this regard for people like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branching possibilities for audience members/players within interactive storytelling worlds. This benefits me because it helps provide overarching visualizations to complement the scripts I write for my work.
I’ve been using Lucid since 2016 and now I can’t imagine work nor life without it

It allows me to translate what's in my thoughts into visuals.

That I can not use it for low fidelity wireframes for my UX and website copywriting services.

What do you dislike about the product?
I struggle with how particular your click patterns need to be to access certain functions. It is not always intuitive to move or drag, highlight text, or modify placements to add in new items. There is a learning curve.

Operations and building in procedures that require evaluation and optimization

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to start making a simple diagram, no tutorial needed really.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the object connectors and lines can be a chore to align, but it's not difficult, just tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often like to hand out flow charts in meetings to help guide our users through a new process we are deploying.

Lucid has been a great help for our team when it comes to co create workflows and diagrams.
I really like the option to publicly share the diagrams and the different export options.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well sometimes is not easy to select and move things around you select one thing but it moves another one. I don't know if maybe I am using it wrong .

Cresting process workflows, it helps us have a visual representation easy to share and present.

Freedom to Create!
What do you like best about the product?
When creating visuals, the freedom to create and make a coherent representation of your thoughts is vital! Lucid let's you do that by helping you make things look nice but also giving you the liberty to put your mind to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish the aligning helps would extend further so I could get several boxes in line, not just two or three.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid to create pedigrees. It helps me and my clients visualize the research I've been doing. It helps to see exactly how my clients are connected to their ancestors as well as to other DNA matches that also descend from a common ancestor.

Easy to use, because is a cloud platform, so I can start to using it faster.

The most helpful thing with using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the ability to streamline communication and idea sharing through real time collaboration features and intuitive design tools. The upsides of using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite include it's intuitive interface robust features for real time collaboration, versatile range of visual tools and seamless integration across devices.

The least helpful about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the learning curve associated with mastering its full range of features, which could slow down initial adoption users. The downsides of Visual Lucid Collaboration Suite is the cost. The cost of using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite may be a concern for some users or organizations.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is benefiting me by solving the problem being remote teamwork such as communication gaps.
