The best flowchart and collaboration tool on the market today!

What do you like best about the product?
Over the course of my career, I've worked with cross functional teams, both on-site or as part of an on-line team with members spread across the globe.

During this time, I've used many plausible and implausible solutions and without doubt, Lucidchart is by far the best collaboration tool that I've ever used.

The ease of use and ability to incorporate others on the team to work within the same workspace is unparallel. Implementing this solution as part of our daily work flow was one of the easiest implementations I've ever been part of.

Integration with other collaboration solutions like Jira and Confluence workes seamlessly. Adding people on the team or sharing your work with others is so easy, either within the workspace itself or by sending your work as a standalone file.

I use Lucidchart frequently during all my projects, whether it is as a virtual sketchboard, collaboration tool on a project or as a final product that is part of the official documentation of a solution.

Customer support has been outstanding as well and the minor issues I've had trouble with have been resolved quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard for me to find anything that can be disliked regarding this solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working with cross functional teams, with different level of computer literacy, Lucidchart has been one of the single most beneficial tools to get everyone on the team more involved in collaborating.

What do you like best about the product?
I loved the availability of many templates. The templates were easy to use. The tool itself was clear and straightforward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent found any yet! The product has been fab so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We only have Visio available which i find clunky and not user friendly. Lucid is the opposite. It is a really easy to use tool and you need no experience to kick off and use it. It is simple to grow your diagramming skillset. I plan to pay for the licence myself i was so impressed with it.

Gets the job done

What do you like best about the product?
- The variety of shapes and icons available: I recently was using Lucid for an AWS architecture diagram. I was impressed because all of AWS icons were present.
- It just works
- Gets the job done
What do you dislike about the product?
- Lack of shortcuts: Most of the other diagramming/whiteboarding tools (eg. Whimsical, eraser, etc.) have a "/" shortcut which helps with almost everything. I find myself using the Mouse much more on Lucid.
- User experience: Not happy with the UX that Lucid provides. The canvas feels very cluttered.
- Moving around the canvas, zooming in/out is much more difficult on Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us one platform where everyone can "show" their ideas as opposed to "writing" them.
We need to create a lot of architecture diagrams, and we use Lucid for that.
When multiple people need to showcase their approach on something, it helps them collaborate.

Powerful tool for visualisation

What do you like best about the product?
From past couple of years I am using lucid. Its part of my most the meeting and discussions on daily basis. Its really easy to use tool. Best tool to create any type of diagram.
You just need to drag and drop the shapes and connect them , hence vvery easy to implement. Mostly all icons are available. It includes ML, cloud related icons which makes it possible to draw Data platform related diagrams. Teams can seamlessly collabrate and modify any diagram. Pre defined templated saves lots of time. Lucid provides integration with most of the commonly use tools and services like azure, jira confluence etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only drawback is paid version is quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it on daily basis in part of customer meeting , client discussions working with colleagues. It helps to create end to end data flows. ER diagrams, platform arcitectures. It has most of the icons readily avaialble which helps to visualise the data platform architecture. Also using Data panel I am importing the data from excel and csv and visualizing it. Helps me visualizing the teams/org data and heirarchy between different members using data panel

Easy for non technical people to collaborate

What do you like best about the product?
Coming from Visio, I found Lucid super eay to use and far more user friendly. I found I could work along side my technical team and we could all be working in the one space without tripping over each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not a dislike, just something I feel could be improved. And thats integrating into the rest of my productivity suite. It would be great to walk me through how I embed Lucid into my day to day work life, ie take me through integrating into mail, video conferencing to do live whiteboarding etc. When I get time ill figure out how to do this I just think on day 1 or day 2 it should prompt me to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi user diagramming.

Great functionality, but needs patience to use

What do you like best about the product?
Great flexibility, lots of features, great integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Harder to organize elements vs. Miro, it's a tedious process of locking/unlocking/grouping/arranging layers of elements feels less fluid than Miro's frames, which are easier to manage
- Lot of prepopulated text that makes it annoying to quickly diagram (e.g. if I create a shape to make a frame, I have to delete the text first)
- No hotkeys
- Not easy to wireframe
- Diagrams don't look as elegant as Miro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating process flow to internal/external stakeholders

    Computer Software

A well rounded choice for collaboration

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Primarily the collaboration aspect (e.g. compared to more traditional charting apps)
- Overall it feels like a mature product; smooth performance, intuitive etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
- I'd love to see some finer grained controls; darkmode, perhaps desktop companion apps
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a multinational company, within a team of solutions architects; collaborative systems diagrams are super helpful

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into the items we need to account for in analytics and operations.
