Collaboration Diagraming Tools

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows user to create various diagrams with no limit to creativity. The best thing is that different users can collaboratively add, delete and modify the diagrams on the same whiteboard concurrently which greatly improves on productivity when during discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of shapes are limited. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite can consider using more diagraming shapes in different categories, just like how Microsoft Visio does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to pen down our ideas on a particular proposal that needs a lot of creativity thoughts. By gathering ideas from the team, located at different part of the world, at the same time, we were able to collaboratively conclude a suitable solution for our business proposal.

Very useful & versatile

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is very high and the ease of implementation is also good for creating AWS architecture diagrams. I use Lucid every time I or a team member creates a diagram, so I use Lucid a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support button is not intuitive to find. I wish it would be easier to integrate Lucid chart with websites like github or bitbucket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is helping us with diagramming, mind mapping, and collaborative whiteboard. They make it really easy for us to do those 3 things and make diagramming less of a chore.

Great tool for creating flow charts

  • April 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to make edits. We work on some complicated flow charts that usually have to go through a lot of revisions. It's great to be able to move boxes around, change descriptions, and add new elements while meeting about these changes. We use these flow charts in presentations, official documents, and in brainstorming meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside is if I'm working with somebody without access. My team usually has to do the driving on a shared screen in those situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a much faster and efficient method of creating the diagrams that we use than any other method I've used. Other methods I've used are very difficult to edit where small edits can sometimes throw of the formatting for the entire chart. Lucid is really easy to update on the fly.

Easy to learn, very helpful for sharing complex information

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is very simple to pick up and quickly get familiar with. I like being able to collaborate in real-time with my colleagues. We use it primarily to explain internal processes with lots of moving parts and stakeholders, and such as lead qualification, follow up procedures, and how opportunities should be routed to various partners. Being able to visualize complex processes and follow a logical flow with easy-to-understand charts and diagrams has helped our team tremendously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is great, but expensive. I wish users could view/review a chart in lucid without needing paid access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualing processes and data flows. When there are more complex cross-team processes to follow, it's beneficial to outline the process with a diagram in a Lucid chart vs. only explaining through documentation. For example, we use Lucid to illustrate what information is needed and what actions are to be performed at each stage of a journey.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making it very easy to create organisation charts and data models for the organisation, leading to process enhancement.

Great tool for charts and diagrams

  • April 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For charts and diagrams, my favorite tool was Visio for years. Recently, I saw some of the charts shared by my colleagues and I really liked them and then I enquired which tool they were generated, and the answer was Lucid. I was really surprised as I always thought the best tool for charts and diagram is Visio. So, I got access to Lucid to try it out. My first impressions were great, and I found Lucid very good tool for creating high-quality, visually appealing charts and diagrams. It is not only easy to use but provides wide variety of built in templates to jump start the diagramming or charting process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still exploring Lucid but I strongly believe that this tool has so many good features that will not disappoint me. One con is the high cost of using this tool but that can be justified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I found Lucid very good tool for creating high-quality, visually appealing charts and diagrams.

    Consulting

Good brainstorming tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The mind map functionality it great, it is much more flexbile that a process flow diagram - although you can make those as well. I like that I can have my Kanban board, mind map, and process flow all in the same place. There are various templates that are extremely helpful to get started / spur new ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating back to the home screen isn't as intuitive as you would think. There is not a 'Home' button/icon in the top corner like most tools, you have to get to it using a drop down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps our team get thoughts down on paper ... instead of just throwing ideas out in a meeting into thin air. we can capture them on something like a mind map which is easy to customize and clean up afterwards. Then you can reference that mind map to build a more detailed process flow if needed, all in the same tool. It simplifies things for us.

The collaboration is good, Other team members can work seamlessly and in real-time. The access privileges are strict. And easy to implement few basic stuff.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration for database entity relation modelling work
