Lucid VCS has made work so much easier

  • January 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There isn't much out there that is as collaborative, as powerful, with as many useful integrations as Lucid VCS. It was so easy to pick up on and to implement in daily projects and I can confidently use it everyday. I feel like I have complete control and the ability to build the next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get frequently randomly logged out of Lucid VCS. It can be a pain when there is something I need to hop on to verify quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid VCS is solving all my collaborative mind mapping needs. There is no other program out there that has the tools and ease of use that Lucid VCS has.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease on using templates in lucid to get started. The data driven diagramming is by far superior to other tools I have worked with.

Nothing at all. However would love to see capability go animate within the diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use to get everyone on the same page and make updates and share in real-time

The Tool I Needed To Communicate to My Team

  • January 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Some concepts I need to communicate to my team are difficult to express verbally. In my business pieces and parts of a project can get very confusing. Lucid has allowed me to ensure that my team is all on the same page. Having the ability to keep my team informed if any process changes is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations with online CRM platforms are a bit clunky and convoluted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my projects have a specific "flow" and Lucid helps my and my team flush out steps we might have missed just "discussing" the problem or issue.

Very Versatile Tool at a Reasonable Price

  • January 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I was suprised at the versatility. From brainstorming and sketches and flow charts to engineering drawings, there are a lot of capabilities here. The free trial gives you a good sense of what the capabilites are, though you are going to want a paid subscription to go beyond the limits on shapes, etc. Collaboration was easy by inviting contributors to the project.

The option to choose a monthly or annual plan that makes it affordable for any small business like mine.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is of course a learning curve for a new UI (like moving from Excel to Google Sheets, etc.) from other products in this category. I did struggle to find some basic shapes, but was easily able to import them from the web. It doesn't seem that there is import capability from Google Drawings, but it may have been my inability to find a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way to collaborate with others on drawings and diagrams.

Lucid: More capable than ever

  • January 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is an easy-to-use platform that you can start using right away by signing up. It follows the freemium model and requires no custom installation or implementation.

I use Lucid frequently to create different diagrams to help the team discuss ideas. The platform's extensive features and integration with other Lucid apps make it an excellent tool for remote work environments. It's like having a good whiteboard to simulate in-person meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting to a level of proficiency with the platform takes time, and I don't think I've achieved it yet. I can't find any major flaw with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps us think visually as a team. We can move rather quickly, and all our efforts are captured and persisted so we can reflect on them repeatedly.

Refinement is also possible.

Very user-friendly/easy to use +

  • January 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly use Lucid for flow charts, recently moved over from using Visio. They're a lot more visually appealing and the program is extremely intuitive/easy to use (I jumped right in/didn't really do any sort of training). I also love knowing that I could import existing flow charts from Visio into Lucid (but have not yet tried this feature).
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was also a desktop version of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to map out processes as a business analyst.
