Great online share diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
Allows people to collaborate on a single diagram easily from anywhere in the world. All in the cloud. Saved instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zooming in and out to get the right size can be a bit hard to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy way to create and share diagrams in a platform agnostic way.

What I like about Lucid is that it enables all users within the organization to seemlessly interact with each other - it's an easy collaboration among employee for better productivity

What I dont like about its a little bit expensive than others given that other softwares are offering the same features

Collaboration among users is one of the problems of our users especially they are around the globe. Lucid helps us to be more collaborative

- Complex tasks may be required to be done by a Process professional.
- For the cost I would have expected better customization capabilities.
- Layman users may not take advantage of all their tools.

At first we've been using Lucid to map out our processes so employees can more easily understand how we work.

Creating flow chart of processes to creat better solutions in every day work

The automated guidance/recommendations it provides which helps a lot in brainstorming the ideas

Nothing as such, Its similar to MS visio
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To create various templates, and shapes. It provides wide variety of options, icons to be inserted, pictures options as well.
Its a very nice tool to draw the design diagrams and share.

I like the available image set for drawing as well as the connection types it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it should support the download functionality of charts instead of just sharing, which means if I want to download it locally and later want to use it for any other project it's very hard, only sharing work.

As a solution architect I need to draw many design and collaborate them as well as paste it on devops Wiki. Lucid have a huge benefit as its very easy to draw as well as can be linked in Wiki.
Perfect Collaboration Tool for Large Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Lucidchart to help breakdown (point by point) every important step of business processes. It's also extremely intuitive - a very easy product to learn and to become savvy with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to share Lucid visualizations in tools such as slack (which currently exists) but ends up delivery a contorted version or clunky link.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several teams and teams are involved in various steps of our major processes - because of that, it's often times hard to understand what steps come first and who is directly responsibile for that stretch in the process - Lucidchart is an effective way to build high level visualizations that break down complex problems into tangible workflows.
Easy tool for diagramming, lots of flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid's primary diagramming makes it pretty easy to get started on most types of diagrams, either starting with a template or a blank slate
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tooltips on the complex templates don't load in easy to find places and some of the complex templates are confusing to customize/use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice to have one tool to start with a broad set of features in order to simplify the process

Simplicity and ease of use in adding objects to the canvas, connecting objects, and easily re-arranging if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of it's ease of use, it does become addicting. You'll end up wanting to map everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost it helps bring clarity to processes or systems. We are all visual people, so having the ability to easily diagram a process or flow is essential. It's also great at identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Because of Lucidchart's collaborative nature, it's great for training and onboarding as well.
