Great Easy to use product for Visual Collab
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ready made templates and helpful suggestions Lucid provide during creating. It's incredibly easy to use and love the automatic save as you work so your work is not lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I'm still branching out and have not come across any problems, issues, or wants for Lucid but still have a lot of exploring to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has helped make it easier to document process flows and to be able to collab with other peers/depts to gather the information needed for these processes.
Good for system design
What do you like best about the product?
Its flexibilty to move things and chart around
What do you dislike about the product?
Everytime you have to double click a box for some reason to edit which becomes tedious when we are doing tones of copy paste operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to parse the documents and determing the workflow of the processes across the org.
does what I need it to do intuitively
What do you like best about the product?
It does what I need it to do. Serves as a whiteboard, I create architecture and org diagrams with it.
I appreciate that it's intuitive, it works exactly like I would expect it too. For example:
* it has the shortcuts so I can quickly switch between tools.
* I can alt drag to duplicate an element.
* I can easily connect elements with arrows.
* Very easy to add tables.
Having used similar software the learning curve was zero. Also some other sofware gets in the way with lots of visuals on top of elements but not Lucid. I found it very fast and intutive.

What do you dislike about the product?
If Lucid has architecture specific elements (example, queues, servers, AWS database specific elements) I didn't find them. I also didn't dig around much for it. Ideally this would be immediatly accessible as something I search for and add as libraries of elements that I often use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it as a tool to quickly sketch software architecture diagrams and personal org charts to make sense of complex systems. It's great to use it also with the team to do those things collaboratively.
THE most versatile and easy to use visual collaboration tool for everyone. Period.
What do you like best about the product?
I cannot think of a better tool than Lucid when it comes to charting, diagramming our just putting your thoughts on a shared visual representation equivalent to that of a piece of paper or a whiteboard. I like the fact that it's UI is very fluid and responsive, and it has got tons of different chart/diagram types. Another good thing about Lucid is it's collaborative feature, letting everyone else on your team to easily make edits to the same chart in real-time and the fact that one can see them in real-time makes it very immersive and easy to collaborate. It's as good as doing a joint session on a physical whiteboard in office.
Lucid makes it so simple, especially in this hybrid world for teams and people to come together and collaborate jointly and effortlessly. To me, it's the scale of the platform itself that stands out - the ability to give you a fast and fluid interface even with 10 other users collaborating on it the same time, with no noticeable difference or lag in it's speed.
The different widgets are simple and elegant. There are shapes for almost any requirement you might have while drawing a chart. Another feature I like about lucid is it's ability to import Visio diagrams straight into your workspace and start editing them. Additionally there are enough export options to let you export your charts/diagrams in the format of your choice. With the wealth of features, no other charting tool comes close to Lucid, I believe.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like to see a Desktop Application and a Microsoft Teams add-in to make Lucid more accessible and useable for people in teams meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid makes it very easy to share your wireframes/diagrams/charts with people in your team or organization. Moreover, the real-time collaboration feature of Lucid works just flawlessly enabling seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
A Must-Have For Visual Teammates & Collaborators
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been a real game-changer when it comes to team meetings, reporting calls, or even our morning brainstorms every week. The easy-to-use layout, paired with the massive number of features the platform has make it a must-have for teams of all sizes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say my gripes are necessarily a dislike, but there does seem to be a small learning curve when you're first getting familiar! Perhaps that says more about my aptitude, but perhaps implementing a more thorough tutorial/walkthrough for new users would make the ease of implementation a bit better than reaching out to Customer Support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the hardships with any business of size is trying to relay your thoughts and innovations in a way that is digestible to all parties. To put it simply, creating visual representations of these innovations is not an easy feat with other software and tools. Lucid has become a staple in our organization, and after getting more familiar with how to leverage the tools, we've become adept at doing so rapidly, on the fly, and getting beautiful displays that can be sent to anyone to easily understand. We actually use video reporting to record our meetings, and it works tremendously for our purposes as an advertising agency.
Very good diagramming experience
What do you like best about the product?
It is very fluid and a great tool to collaborate for architechture designing of systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, everything seems to be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Architectural Designing of the systems and collaborating in real time.
A lot easier to use than the Google Slide or Visio Status Quo!
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to share between colleagues and track progress
Easy to color code / move sections around
Good to scroll through live when facilitating a discussion

What do you dislike about the product?
Copy paste feature doesn't work like a normal Slide
Wish there was a good way (other than stickies) to track 'unknowns' in a process during new process development
Wish there was a good way (other than stickies) to track 'unknowns' in a process during new process development
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are developing a brand new end to end process for a new program and it is helpful to visualize the workflow to identify key unknowns and owners
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use and easy to share. It helps us to understand the flow process of a client and have feedback at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any particular flaws. For me it works wonders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're doing some diagrams to undesrstand a flow. And it works.
Interactive easy to use tool, great for team planning and collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use. It's a really handy tool when planning out big pieces of work remotely from other team members, and then using the features within lucid to sketch out and help break the work down into smaller pieces. The outcomes of these kinds of sessions are good for presenting to other colleagues, and also for referring back to over a longer period.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a downloadable 'standalone' version of the tool (if there already is one apologies!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Breaking down large pieces of work by identifying workflows visually. I always find that seeing features visually even if it's a small senetence within a box, then and arrow pointing to the next step a lot easier than tracking work by for example ticket by ticket. Something that JIRA could really improve upon when you build out epics of work - it's not easily digestible for those who find it difficult to read walls of text.
