What do you like best about the product?
First of all I should mention the interface and navigations. They are really simple and easy to use. As features, there are a range of shapes and templates that gives me the ability to create several different diagrams in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is great for creating almost any diagram however it requires great focus to find the exact required symbols and icons needed for a diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to easily create multiple diagrams with visual representation of how a program is expected to work especially displaying the tasks and interventions the program will carry out.

Solid Tool for Technical Diagramming, But Lags on Large Boards

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows me to lay out complex data pipelines in a clean and readable format. The drag-and-drop feature for connectors and the ability to annotate steps, as well as collaborate in real time with engineering colleagues, enhances technical discussions and makes them more efficient. The tool’s integration with other software such as Google Workspace and Jira is another standout aspect; I love being able to attach diagrams directly to tickets or documentation, which maintains a seamless connection and communication within the workflow. The version history feature is invaluable, as it enables my team to experiment without the risk of losing earlier drafts, fostering an environment where we can freely explore different approaches. The transition from previous tools like draw.io and Miro was smooth due to Lucid's better version control, cleaner pipeline diagram tools, and tighter integrations, which played a crucial role in our switch. The initial setup process was straightforward and quick, allowing me to start using the platform almost immediately without much need for onboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated with the performance of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite when working on large data pipeline diagrams with many connectors and annotations, as it tends to lag noticeably. Additionally, I find the formatting tools lacking consistency; aligning elements and maintaining uniform spacing can be more manual and cumbersome than expected for a diagramming tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to visualize data workflows, reduce miscommunication, and integrate with tools like Google Workspace and Jira, enhancing collaboration and clarity for my team.

Using Lucid to Create Workflow for Project

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Although my time of using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was brief, I thought that it was an incredibly helpful tool in creating a simple workflow for a team project for one of my classes. I thought that the UI was great especially when I was creating my flowchart. There was a large variety of shapes and ways to design my workflow and I really liked the freedom that came from using the website. Also, one small thing that really helped when creating my flowchart was how the arrows would automatically point to the middle of shape. Especially since building my workflow diagram required using a lot of arrows and shapes, having the arrows automatically point to the middle when dragged made building a lot more efficient and smooth
What do you dislike about the product?
During my time using the website, I didn’t encounter any significant downsides, although my experience was relatively short. If I were to nitpick about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, then I’d say my biggest critique is that I wished the free version gave us a few more objects to use per document. I know that with the free version I’m only limited to 60 objects, but this limitation kind of messed up my flow chart since I had to get rid of some important aspects in the end to fully complete it. This is less of a critique against the website and more of me just wanting to get a little bit more out of the free trial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is solving a relative niche but prevailing problem of streamlining creating diagrams and flowcharts. I could’ve created my workflow diagram on Microsoft or Google apps, but I just liked how simple and effective using Lucid was after messing around with it. It benefits me as a student because I know that in the future when I would have to make another flow chart or workflow diagram, I know what website to go to reliably create it.

The Best Tool I’ve Used for Clear and Collaborative Diagrams

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Lucid makes it to turn ideas, workflows, and system designs into clear visuals. The drag-and-drop tools feel natural, and real-time collaboration is smooth—even with large teams. As a developer, the ability to map out architecture, user flows, and integrations visually helps speed up planning and reduces miscommunication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features are hidden behind higher-tier plans, and export options can feel limited unless you're on a premium plan. Large or complex diagrams can slow down performance at times, and syncing diagrams across Lucidchart and Lucidspark can be slightly confusing for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me turn complex ideas, workflows, and system designs into clear visuals that everyone can understand. Instead of explaining processes in long messages or documents, I can map everything out visually and share it instantly with the team.

For development work, it’s especially useful for planning integrations, documenting architecture, and preparing migration flows. It reduces confusion, speeds up decision-making, and keeps everyone aligned during projects. Overall, it saves time and makes collaboration much smoother across technical and non-technical teams.

Versatile, Template-Rich, and Easy Setup

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility and freedom that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite offers, as it allows me to experiment with various ideas in a free and open environment, much like having a canvas where I can place anything I want. I love the ready-made templates available, especially when time is of the essence; for instance, I was able to quickly facilitate a team retrospective meeting by selecting a retrospective template from the library, saving me a significant amount of preparation time. The integration capabilities with other tools I use, such as Confluence and Jira, enhance my documentation process by creating a seamless workflow. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly easy—requiring nothing more than accepting an invite—which made my transition to using the suite smoother. Overall, my experience with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has been overwhelmingly positive, as evidenced by my willingness to recommend it with a high score of 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, I've been enjoying the product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to streamline team meetings and diagram creation. It provides a flexible canvas for creativity and offers templates that save preparation time, enhancing my workflow efficiency.
