Easy and Professional Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the different options for types of diagrams. Each one is accurate and professional looking, yet still easy to figure out where everything is. Things like changing size, shapes, and colors without needing to look up how to do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could work on more than 3 charts at a time when trialing the product. I was able to make two charts in one to solve my problem, because I was actively working on four at once. Still, it's worth paying for the full service if you use these charts regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is making a platform that's easily accessible. It is both easy for beginners to understand and work on, while still having all the options a more experienced user needs.
Love this for strategy and planning!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it feels customizeable without being super hard to learn or use. It has advanced capabities, but I don't feel like I did when I had to learn Adobe products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything I don't like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is instrumental in campaign planning, and I even use when mapping out Google Ad campaigns. I have even used to help organize a friends birthday party, and map out my exercise classes!
Smooth interface and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The felxibility it edits. With other applications, there are more limitations, which makes it very frustrating to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free account only gives access to a few pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is solving the problem of not having work saved and not being able to collaborate with others at the same time. This helps me with what I use it for, collaboration.
Best way to map out thought logic and workflows
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use! I'm often on calls or brainstorming internally and need to map out certain thought logic or workflows. Paper and pencil is fine, but needs to be scanned later. Drawing with iPad and pencil is great, but not always uniform / consistent. Lucidchart allows me the same function and freedom as the aforementioned, but I already have a polished deliverable created by the time I'm finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better ways to just whiteboard. Sometimes adding text or other types of info / graphics gets a little wonky. But that's not what the tool was necessarily designed for, just a nice to have type deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often times we like to share our min maps / brainstorms / diagrams as a deliverable with our clients or internal team we're interfacing with. Normal white boarding / pen and paper aren't really polished and force us to take the extra step of creating that deliverable. Lucidchart saves us the step and the time. It's also collaborative, which is great. Documents can be edited by users across multiple organizations.
Lucidchart makes it easy to create professional-looking diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I like Lucidchart best because of its adaptability, customization options, and streamlined UX design. It helps me create sophisticated diagrams quickly, while giving me full control to perfect the details and align my projects with an overarching strategy. With its powerful tools, I can easily create professional-looking flowcharts and presentations using my own graphics. It can even connect users on different platforms, so everyone can communicate without worrying about system incompatibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart is a great tool, but there's one drawback that I find particularly annoying - the lack of visibility into what each folder contains. Having multiple folders with duplicate charts can be very confusing when trying to work as a team. Communication and collaboration are essential to any successful project or organization, so it would be very helpful if Lucidchart could provide better clarity about which files belong in which folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from Lucidchart because I can communicate, plan, and visualize my work in one place. This makes it easier for me to understand what's going on during telecommuting meetings so I can better contribute ideas.
Very good and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive User interface for jump-starting use
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard learning curve for harder functions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming out complicated processes
Lucid Chart is a versatile diagramming app
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Charts provides a lot of diagramming options, including presets that I've found to be very handy. I've used the entity-relational diagrams for databases and the UML class diagrams, both of which were very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The arrows can get very finicky, making it rather difficult to adjust or change, especially in a diagram that involves a lot of arrows. It would be useful if there were any features that could help with managing connections between the objects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is primarily allowing me to create various diagrams, which can be useful in planning and prototyping for large projects. The sharing capabilities also allows for easy collaboration between group members (for university) and coworkers (at prior internships).
Great for making ERD diagrams for school
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's simple to use arrows and change the head type. I like that you can also collaborate seamlessly with others. I also like the printout option, whether the whole sheet or an image of the focused area with just the diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not useful for dataflow diagrams (DFD). Not many templates for wireframes, so it's not very useful for that purpose yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming databases for school projects
The best charting tool on the web
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and personalization that Lucidchart offers. My charts can be easily customized to fit the needs of any project or more detailed designs can be created for complex projects using its easy-to-use interface. Furthermore, it offers powerful features such as precise resizing of shapes in a flowchart and the ability to include images, which make presentations even more engaging! Furthermore, its cross-platform capabilities allow teams to collaborate seamlessly no matter where they are in the world, without worrying about compatibility issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart should distinguish between diagrams with similar names so I don't have to open multiple folders and expand trees to find a particular diagram. Clicking back and forth through my folder structure each time I need specific charts can be time-consuming, causing me to waste valuable time on menial tasks instead of focusing on important tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Lucidcharts, I can stay connected to my team wherever I am. Having the ability to easily share ideas and models with everyone makes it easier to come up with better solutions together more quickly.
Easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can quickly and easily create diagrams that communicate the connections and processes within a system. I appreciate how many options are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of how much lag there is when moving the different objects as the number of total objects on the grid increases. This lag slows down progress significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me solve problems such as onboarding new features into an existing system or designing components for a new system. It helps to communicate the impact of features on the overall system.
