Lucidchart is pretty good!
What do you like best about the product?
The easy usage of Lucidchart is the best. I don't have to train too much or go into depth with any of our new colleagues on how to use this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I find everything very good to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is helping our organization with creating amazing workflows and charts that helps our teams. This benefits me because I am a Product Expert and either often need to review or edit charts for certain product features that I am in charge of.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to pre-populate common shapes I need for flow charts and care processes is essential to streamlining my work. I can color code and layer the work as I see fit and collaboration via LucidChart is great. You don't run into barriers when collaborating with team members outside your organization like you do with many other platforms (e.g., Microsoft).
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidChart doesn't always make it easy to customize my flowcharts the way I want or in the direction I want. Downloading as an image (sometimes, file types are wonky or just overall don't crop correctly) or adding data to my diagrams (which I currently cannot do) are some areas for improvement of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a researcher and do human centered design. This makes my interview results and design recommendations much more transparent to my stakeholders- whether they are healthcare organization leaders, end users, participants to whom we are showing what they told us, or for reporting my research findings in a publication.
Lucid helps define workflows and gather understanding across parties
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid allows me to define theoretical and hypothetical workflows clearly to individuals who do not have first-hand experience in what we are building. Using Lucid has allowed me to set expectations with clients in a digestible and reviewable manner, which helps with change management during implementations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I don't like about Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing an ambiguous theoretical workflow for the first time, Lucid is helping me set expectations for what happens at which state during the solution in a format that can be reviewed by technical and non-technical members alike.
It's good for most organizations
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create a new position box and that uploading a spreadsheet can generate an org chart automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it doesn't give variety of print settings to choose from for more paper-pen organizations

I've talked to some LucidChart engineers about the lack of print settings and how the process of creating org charts could be more user-friendly for our technologically challenged folx.
Clean tool for modeling ERDs
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and easy to use and collaborate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much to say here. I've been on 2 teams and it's the tool of choice.

Easy to use, but could use some polish

1) It's extremely easy/quick to add new shapes, etc. to diagrams
2) The conditional formatting tool is amazing, especially for large diagrams

1) The gridlines are a little distracting; I'd love the option to be able to fade them so large diagrams don't feel visually cluttered
2) I've used Miro as well, and my Miro diagrams have a slightly more polished look compared to Lucidchart, which is appealing when making artifacts to share with stakeholders.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a technical business analyst, so I am constantly trying to convey abstract concepts and processes to a variety of audiences (technical and non-technical). Lucidchart helps me create visual representations of the concepts that are critical for ensuring everyone is on the same page and can engage in collaboration well.
Helped Organize our Company
What do you like best about the product?
I love Lucidchart because it's easy to use and easy to train new employees on. It also offers tremendous flexibility as a tool for making presentations and org charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more in-depth design options that we could leverage in order to make outward-facing resources. Additionally, more proactive training programs within Lucidchart would help me unlock more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our organization create a Servant Leader-based reverse org chart model. This is extremely beneficial because we haven't found any other platforms that solve for this problem.

I honestly don't have any negative things to say about LucidChart. It works perfectly for the tasks I need it to.
