Valuable product--UI/UX has room for improvement for newcomers
What do you like best about the product?
It does the job and has been helpful in diagramming out software systems and data flows. It is the biggest tool we use in our company, and collaborating and sharing Lucidcharts has been easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dealbreakers, just suggestions: as a junior dev, they could add some useful templates and guides that are easy to understand for specific use cases--including styling guidelines for your use case. Maybe that was there, but I wasn't 100% satisfied after using it. But if you were to ask ChatGPT 4 to provide a mock for your use case using styling standards, it would probably be able to do so, or at least describe what you might want to do with high accuracy--so why can't Lucid do that?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me as a junior dev, it provides the most value in mapping systems. It has been easier to onboard myself to a large company with many interacting software systems thanks to Lucid.
Easy to use and still robust
What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to use, and I appreciate the templates they provide. I also like how easy they make it to share what I've created with others. I've built internal workflows and diagrams that help illustrate points to clients and prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any major dislikes about the platform. It works exactly as I would hope it would. It would be nice to be able to make the diagrams look more aesthetically pleasing, but that may be due to my own limited knowledge about how to use the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps me bring ideas and strategies to life. Complex systems, in particular, require visual aids to explain to team members, prospects, and clients. Lucidchart make this not only possible, but makes it easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has support for multiple cloud services and icons, perfect for creating useful diagrams for client work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid chart has a bit of a learning curve to learn how to use it. There are other controls that are a bit less intuitive like dragging the screen or zooming the screen. Arrow-overlapping needs more work and support.

Lucidchart provides a platform for consultants to create diagrams to outline client work.
Exccelent tool for diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
How easy is to create diagrams. They have a new feature, like a whiteboard, that allows me to create digital drawing sessions to explain topics to other teammates during calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like with every tool, when having multiple options to implement something, it requires a learning curve. Even when it is easy to learn, it requires to spend some time trying to figure out what are the best features to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Create flows for internal processes, that need to be reviewed with stakeholders and teammates
Very intuitive and simple way to create flow charts and org charts
What do you like best about the product?
The software is very intuitive. It knows what you are trying to do and anticipates it. It completes lines, boxes, objects that it believes you are working on. In my case, it's almost always correct. There are many options and colors to choose from and it's a very user friendly program. I was able to use without any training and just figure it out for the basic functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was creating an org chart and it was pretty straight forward. The only thing I couldn't figure out was splitting a box into 2 colors. But I think some training could help that. I was able to figure it out using a work around. I would like to utilize this even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows team members (especially new employees) to see the org chart and how the company reports into each other. It helps to see what the different teams look like and helps understand the hierarchy of the org.
Simple Flowchart Creation with Power
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried to create flow charts within Google Docs and hacked together flow charts in other products, but Lucidchart makes it much easier and straightforward to create them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there's not much that I dislike. It wasn't difficult to learn, nor was it difficult to use. If there's anything, it would be the cost. I can use it for my work - as they pay for it - but for personal use, it's a bit costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to quickly create charts, whether flow charts, diagrams for my code bases, or best practices for a process/QA. It has been very useful in letting me quickly create all these documents.
Lucidchart is incredibly accessible and easy to use.

I like that there is a large assortment of bullet points and templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike is that sometimes the text doesn't disappear when you delete letters or words until you move to a different text bubble.

Because of Lucidchart's user-friendly design, I didn't have to overcome a steep learning curve to create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual representations. I discovered Lucidchart's user interface to be newbie friendly compared to some of its competitors like Visio and Draw.io, making it easier for me to quickly and efficiently design diagrams and flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Lucidchart is largely a web-based application, an internet connection is necessary for it to function. Users that need to make or view diagrams when they are offline may find this to be inconvenient.

With Lucidchart, users can create diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps more rapidly because of its extensive template and shape libraries that are easy for others to use and comprehend.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create flow charts easily with as many details as possible. The tool is very user-friendly and can be used even if you don't have much experience with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I have been using it only for a few months, and I am able to use it with out having any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To properly document the application flow in a readable format that everyone can understand.
Intuitive way of displaying logic
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the drag and drop design. It facilitates quick diagramming, even during live meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the formatting when inserting text to the shapes are difficult to manage.
