Creating sales strategies during brainstorming and planning sessions.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the most useful features is the real-time collaboration, which allows us to work together on mind maps, sales strategies, and brainstorming sessions with ease. The infinite canvas is perfect for organizing ideas and visualizing sales pipelines, giving us the flexibility to expand as needed. Additionally, the template library saves time by providing a foundation for common sales tasks like SWOT analysis and customer profiling. The integration with Salesforce and Slack streamlines our workflow, ensuring that information is easily accessible and updates are seamlessly synced. Also, Lucidspark's voting and commenting features facilitate effective communication among team members, allowing us to prioritize tasks and make collective decisions quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app experience is limited, making it challenging to work on-the-go with the same functionality as the desktop version. Also, learning the app's functions took me three weeks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales team members actively use it to create and update our individual pipelines and for collaborative planning sessions. The ease of sharing boards with external stakeholders, such as clients or partners, has improved our communication and transparency.
A brainstorming tool for meetings both internally and externally
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of Lucidspark is that it can be customized to your needs and tastes. You can change text, lines, shapes, icons and even choose your own color palette! Charts are easy to make in LucidSpark; just export a report that gives you insight into who reports to whom in your organization. Even more interesting features include combining shapes from external sources or document sections, as well as creating enhanced designs using pre-made layouts available on the market. The platform also features Excel spreadsheets that can be linked with other documents on the platform, making it easier for users to access accurate data across all documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard must be zoomed in and out frequently, and the customization options are limited in Lucidspark. However, I currently only use the free plan, which may have fewer features than the premium version. It is also sometimes problematic to link arrows to nodes. For now, these are my main concerns as I learn more about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark helps us get the most out of our online meetings by enabling us to brainstorm more effectively. With Lucidspark, we can easily create and share ideas in a way that is truly engaging.
Representing complex financial processes with charts.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customizable flowcharts and diagrams that allow us to represent complex financial processes and workflows visually. The real-time collaboration feature has significantly enhanced communication among our finance team, ensuring everyone is up-to-date with the latest changes. The platform's extensive template library has saved us countless hours by providing a starting point for creating financial models, forecasts, and budgeting scenarios. The data linking feature, which enables seamless integration with spreadsheets and other data sources, has greatly simplified our financial analysis and reporting process.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, there are a few areas where Lucidchart could be improved. The user interface can be overwhelming for first-time users, especially when searching for specific features or tools. A more streamlined interface or an improved onboarding process would be beneficial. Additionally, the availability of more advanced financial diagramming options, such as native support for Gantt charts and better integration with popular financial software, would make Lucidchart even more powerful for finance professionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart to create visual representations of financial data, making it easier for everyone to understand the complex relationships between financial metrics. By enabling real-time collaboration, Lucidchart has also facilitated faster decision-making, as our team can easily discuss and refine diagrams together.
Lucidchart: diagramming made easy, for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Usability, tools, intuitive interface, easy learning curve, real-time collaboration, revision and document sharing options, supported formats, import and export formats, no need to install or deploy for big organizations. Data encryption. Way better than VISIO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced options are not that easily to get into. Data linking and SQL import and export can be better implemented. The free version can be limited for some use case scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with and share lots of diagrams and charts, mockups, project maps, etc. Lucidchart makes it all easy, allowing real-time cooperative work and document sharing and review.
Also, the multiuser license mode, where you can "lease" licenses to users that are only temporarily working on charts, makes an impact on the IT budget.

It does the trick
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to figure out how to use it without extensive training quickly. It is relatively user-friendly and creates a professional-looking org chart. I am sure there are many more features that I could have taken advantage of if I wanted to invest more time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was annoying trying to add dotted line positions. I couldn't figure out how to move a box over so that it created a more balanced-looking org chart. I wasn't able to figure out how to load the staff names by position so that the org chart would automatically build itself; it seemed like an option. I don't think it's a good value for the cost. I plan to cancel since I was charged despite extending my trial period to see if it was worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a professional-looking org chart that showed how two sub-organizations would exist under a single umbrella company. It was required for a business plan that had to be submitted to a parent organization.
Excellent Package

The price - a cheaper package would be nice.

Clear representation of strategy plans means that they are more professional.

Visualizing business processes and helping to communicate problem/solution more effectively.
Brainstorming made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Love the visual aspect of it and how easy it is to brainstorm. It is rather easy to navigate the basics of it and it can be incredibly helpful when trying to solve problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially it was difficult to differentiate between lucidspark and lucidchart. Sometimes it is not as intuitive if you've never used a similar software. However it is still easy for the basic functionalities. It would be great if lucidspark and lucidchart were just one product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Long term strategy and visualisation of process changes. It makes it easy to think about a whole structure or product and move things around as necessary until the final output is achieved.
Absolutely Destroys MSVisio
What do you like best about the product?
Super simple to use. Requires virtually no training/experimentation to complete the basics. Things just work how you expect them to. There's some stuff for advanced users too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no dedicated Lucidchart file type that's exportable. I think you can export files as like a LucidSpark (which is something different), PDF, or Visio file, but no dedicated Lucidchart file type (I think).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I absolutely despise MSVisio. Lucidchart is just so much better, user friendly, modern. I like how they keep adding quality of life improvements. I'm pretty sure Visio has been the same product for like 5 years.
