Loving All Things Lucid!

  • December 06, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to use, easy to collaborate - our clients love that we use the tool as we work through discoveries in learning business processes and coming up with solution designs for our software development!
What do you dislike about the product?
The collaboration tool could be a little more comprehensive - allowing us to chat, message, tag, work as a cross-functional team within the document and diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our job is to learn every client's business to an extent that we can solution software design (while enhancing their processes), so being able to listen and diagram during meetings, and then point out within the diagrams where we plan to focus is HUGE for us!

Good for collaboration and giving a visual view of workflows for the team

  • December 05, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to add new shapes to the workflow. Also, I am able to copy shapes so they stay formatted (same size & shape throughout the chart). I am able to color-code the shapes so I can help my viewers see what systems are impacted. Also, the connectors seem more flexible than the ones provided in Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
When having multiple steps that need to flow from one, sometimes showing the relationship and setting up the connector can be challenging. Would be better if I could draw a dotted box around the grouping or something along those lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, Lucidchart gives an easy way to show a visualization of the workflow that I can walk through with business and technical folks to help provide an understanding of the steps required a given process.

My experience with Lucidspark

  • December 05, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best parts of Lucidspark are how easy it is to jump in and begin collaborating with others and the wide variety of templates to help you get started on diagramming projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main dislikes I have are:
1. Hotkeys are not customizable
2. There is no app version.
3. When many features are used, navigating between layers and objects can become frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Lucidspark to help prep for my interviews. I would lay out the main points I wanted to remember and questions I had for the hiring manager. I would return to Lucid and review what went well and what didn't. Then I can add new notes and rearrange ideas when I reflect on how things went.
