Review of Lucidspark for ”Collaborative Whiteboard” and “Visual Collaboration Platforms” categories
What do you like best about the product?
As SRE the lucid chart has made my life easy in designing robust platform solutions. Our solution architect always focuses on designing first and implementing later. With the collaborative features of lucidpark, it's pretty easy to keep all stakeholders on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to point on from the features I use, but I still have given 8 for continuous improvement and bringing many more new features to customers. It would be great to link the lucid chart directly with JIRA stories/tasks. In short, integration with other 3rd party tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The wide variety of charts on lucid chart, whether it's a class diagram, decision tree or business functionality diagram, makes lucid chart a one-stop portal for me to rely on.
We also do agile planning and refinement by creating graphs over lucid chart. It helps us compare the complexity of stories against their value to the business, and based on that, we decide on story points for those stories.

Lucidspark: A strong foundation with a few bumps
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidspark is the ability to quickly and easily create strong, easy-to-read charts and transform them between spreadsheet and graphical formats. Lucidspark template development is extremely versatile, making it easy for organizations to replicate projects. The presets templates are also beneficial in launching new projects. Additionally, teamwork is significantly improved since face-to-face meetings are essential when working remotely. Finally, the platform connectors are a lifesaver - importing data into online Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets is quite beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Lucidspark could have been more user-friendly. The "snapping" of products or arrows to stuff that didn't belong there was a problem I couldn't figure out how to fix. This meant I had to focus less on generating ideas and more on applying answers to my challenges. Cooperation is beneficial, but I needed to find it evident how to set up a shared whiteboard or how specific permissions operated. An overview of them would suffice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark significantly contributes to the creation of org charts through structure graphs, chart bubbles, and the capacity to include faces. It is handy to develop architectural diagrams for our development teams because of their usability.
Visual collaboration and mind-mapping is easy with Lucidspark.
What do you like best about the product?
Because Lucidspark is web-based, you can create and edit your charts from anywhere. It's simple to add new data or share existing diagrams with others. It is simple to use arrows, which is useful when drawing complex diagrams. Lucidspark has various premade shapes and templates that you can customize to meet your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a browser, only chart creation is possible. It has a limited selection of icons and does not allow you to search for more; you also cannot resize the ones it does provide. Some of the available templates are complicated and require some practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark's diagramming, flowcharting, organizing, Gantt charting, and mind mapping capabilities are excellent. It facilitates collaboration and the import/export of data or diagrams. It also allows me to link data to shapes. Lucidspark will work flawlessly on either a Mac or a Windows computer.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am expecting more behaviours templates like assigning tasks to the team members and posting the updates in the tool itself ,if this feature is available in Lucid ,I won't be using any other tools for my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Breaking down the architecture into flow charts helped me a lot with my presentations and peer review as well.
Architecture can be designed on the fly from existing templates.

Excellent Tool to Work

Create a design to explain ideas about any solution. Help to verification what is missing in the design and improve the results
Review for Lucidspark
What do you like best about the product?
As a postgraduate student, especially while pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analysis, we have a lot of collaborative effort when it comes to group reports, presentations, notes, analysis of chase studies, etc. Lucidspark is a great platform that's helped us organise our notes and modules. It's also made things quite easily accessible and make the content very visually appealing. It's also great for individuals to create mind maps and task lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve as and when new users start using Lucidspark. Also, I wished there was an easier way to communicate with the team as and when you collaborate on the projects, maybe a quick Huddle feature like on Slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Good User Inrerface - it is user friendly and gets the job done quite easily.
2. Collaboration - As a team, when we had to work together for group projects in university, it took us quite a bit of time to map out the blueprints, structure the details, get notes in place but Lucidspark really helped us organise our tasks and todo lists.
3. Notes organisation and process detailing was a little hard as a team - using Lucidspark, from fought scribbled notes to presentation-ready content in no time. Developing workflows has never been easier,
4. Lots of great features for integration - timers, voting, attractive templates etc.
