Lucidchart is the best tool for drawing patent drawings
What do you like best about the product?
The wide variety of pre-made templates is a great way to start making flow charts, Gantt charts, and process support documents. I've even started using the brainstorming boards to track departmental ideas from internal standups and reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Lucidchart could support more icons, it would be much easier to find the right one for the job. A search function for the name would be a great way to find the correct icon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is a great tool for drawing patent drawings. I've found that it's an excellent tool for organizing all the different elements of a patent application, and it makes the whole process a lot less daunting. It's also beneficial for representing information related to intellectual property.
Lucidchart- The simple, yet robust, diagramming software you need!
What do you like best about the product?
I can appreciate Lucidcharts vast assortment of templates and tools to make diagrams and flowcharts to the level of detail that our organization needs. Icon sets and pictures make diagrams easy to follow for entry-level employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart can be cumbersome in the beginning but is easy to learn quickly and create diagrams in no time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has helped us create diagrams and flowcharts of systems within our organization. These documents have since helped us streamline training and ease troubleshooting.

Perfect web-building tool for novel/story brainstorming!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the infinite white space to expand ideas into. I use it for novel brainstorming, and I can build my formula and add in an offshoot for character breakdowns, settings, etc. and add photos for inspiration. Then for the novel itself, I like to use the colored boxes to create scene cards that are so easy to move around and add to them. I've been brainstorming on a corkboard at home and it's never been big enough. I also like the option to color the boxes, because it helps me to locate certain portions of my story notes easier when the web starts getting large. And I like how it will tell you when your boxes are an equal distance from the others, so it's really easy to line things up perfectly. My OCD thanks you. I tried several different web-based programs similar to this before I found Lucidspark, and this one has been the easiest to use, with all the options I was searching for.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are only a few dislikes that I've come up with so far. Because I use it to plan novel ideas, some of my colored boxes have a lot of text in them. And I've noticed that when It gets pretty long (say 3 pages or so if it was a normal word processing document), it freezes the entire Lucidspark board and I have to close it and reopen it. And when it gets that much text, even if I click in the text box or try to move it, it freezes. So I make a point to make smaller boxes of text, like part 1, part 2, etc.
Also, (maybe there is a feature that does this, but I haven't found it yet) when I'm typing additional notes into one of the colored boxes and it becomes longer, I wish there was an option to add a line to the whiteboard, like hitting "enter" in word processing. Then I could move everything below what I'm typing down a line or two as I add to it. What I found I have to do is go down to the bottom of my list of cards (colored boxes), and move each one down like a line of traffic, to make room for the one I added more text to.

I outline down to the scene before I write, because I like to know where I'm going and what information I need to reveal. This makes my outline really large. In the past, I had a corkboard wall in my home where I added cards and writing. When it's in a handwritten format like that, I can't make changes to the board as easily, my 2-year-old steals some of my cards sometimes, It takes up a lot of space in my home, and it's not a searchable format. I've also brainstormed a lot on digital platforms, usually word processing, but that just ends up looking like pages of text and it's hard to put everything into the order it eventually needs to go in. It makes a huge difference to have an infinite white space to expand into. To add notes, move things around, and color code for organization. With it being web-based as well, it's always with me. It really works great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidspark is a great web-building and brainstorming tool, with many applications. I use it for novel/story brainstorming, and it has all the features I would want for that. It's easier to use and manipulate than many of the novel-writing software platforms I've explored (which are also very expensive). I'm still using the free version which give you 3 whiteboards, and it will be a while before I need to expand beyond that. I highly recommend giving it a try.
The Best Charting Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is the best charting platform I have ever used. It is so simple to use and so rich in features. When I first started using it, my charts were very basic. But now, after seeing what my team has been able to create, I am absolutely amazed. We have made some incredible charts that truly showcase our networks in the most incredible way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the overall quality is great, some of the larger files can be tough to download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is a versatile tool that can be used to create marketing process flows and diagrams. There is no need for training because it is user-friendly and can be explored while on the go.

There are a host of options for different requirements making it very efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing it is a bit of a problem. I couldn't drag the arrows and reposition them into a straight line

Awesome tool for process planning and management!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily communicate processes and workflows in a visual and easy-to-interpret manner. I love all of the extra plug-ins and features such as hyperlinking, inserting images and timelines etc...
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of great functionalities within the platform, including hyperlinks; however, when you use hyperlinks they don't "show up" in a highlighted color automatically which can make it trickier to know they are there and to use them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding how processes work and making sure that people understand what they are expected to do in order to follow a process appropriately --> this leads to less confusion and better coordination, particularly with processes that require hand-offs between team members and teams
Familiar Layout & Powerful Features
What do you like best about the product?
It makes collaborating easy, through Slack, email, and live editing. The comprehensive library of shapes is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes objects are too perky to be dragged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to plan and explain complex projects using the diagrams available in Lucidchart.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch their video tutorials if you get stuck. They teach very well and make me realize obvious things that I somehow missed.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use templates/wireframes. Website navigation was very smooth. You can even do a lot with the free version unlike their competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing. I have to create customer personas, customer journey. I am working on the whiteboard and visual collaboration. I have found them helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I was personally facing was creating diagrams, wireframes and customers personas/journey. Lucidspark saved me time and my project was appreciated.
Not bad but I prefer a local app
What do you like best about the product?
The collaberation features are nice. Lots of objects to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
No "Save As" option. You have to create a new document and paste existing content into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a place to produce and share documents is good.
I really like the possibility to collaborate with my colleagues on the same whiteboard.

The fact that you can see where everyone's cursor is and check who made which figure in the whiteboard.

The instance is bound to an specific account, and when that user disconnects or another user creates another instance, it takes some time for it to setup again.

Team collaboration and instant feedback on what everyone is typing and creating. The various shapes and colors help us make more understandable images for everyone to understand.
