Great tool with some annoying hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it was to organize thoughts, website maps, and wireframes. Particularly how intuitive the drag and drop system was. I've used a decent number of competitors, but this one actually stuck
What do you dislike about the product?
While it is very easy to move lines and objects so that it looks good, everything resets when a new element is added. I suspect it's a problem with how hierarchical objects are treated, but it was quite annoying to have to move everything around again because a new object forced the previous ones to move around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is solving the problem of how to effectively organize loose thoughts and relationships on paper. It is a way to clarify and expound upon plans and ideas without losing coherence from poor tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try. It will outperform every other diagramming application
Very easy to use, quick and painless
What do you like best about the product?
The easy placement of charts, and being able to save symbols with colors, size, etc. for re-use. Very user-friendly and intuitive. Sure beats trying to make diagrams directly in Word or Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to save the Lucidchart file directly on my hard drive. I have a work computer, and if for some reason someone takes my place they won't have the files available on the work drive, only on my password-protected cloud. That can be a problem. If there is a way to do that I haven't figured it out yet. Also, when I want to install the app on Windows, it says my browser is outdated. I updated it, but Word is stuck with explorer, and the app wants me to use Chrome, etc. It would be nice if you make the program compatible with Word so I can use it directly in Word without having to upgrade to Office 365. That would make my year!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes doing charts easy and painless with an ease that is not possible without using a specialized software. Also makes it easier to follow standards since all the shapes are well identified.
Lucidspark...excellent replacement for Visio
What do you like best about the product?
I especially like the web-based interface and its easy-to-use overall functionality. I have been using Visio for many years and I am used to its interface. When I was told that I will need to change, I was a bit skeptical but was then pleasantly surprised by the many similarities between the two products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot really pint point anything I don't like about the product. I even tested the import of Visio workflow documents, and that worked flawlessly as well. There was one suggestion I made, which I don't know if that is even possible though. I had embedded local documents into a few of my Visio documents, and only the icon came over. However, it was easy to create hotspots and point it to our MS Teams share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not necessarily solving problems that I had, but it was relayed to me that it has a positive budget impact, compared to the Microsoft product line. Saving money is always a great benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark have been a really good application when it comes to collaborating with multiple stakeholders . I used Lucidspark to gauge the ideas within my fellow teammates. It helped me to my team mates who are situated across the globe in different timezones to register their ideas without any hassle. Lucidchart was also one the most commonly used tool by me to create and share complicated process Maps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidspark has a lot of postivies and best features compared to its competitors. One of the feature that Lucid team has to workon is the route/path that it uses to create a sign in. The sign in process is very slowly and at times it is very painful. If the team can work on the sign in process, then Lucidspark will appartently the best in the market without any doubt

With the help of lucid spark I solve a lot business problems
1. Create Process Flows and get the sign off
2. Allow multiple people to work and sign off the created flow
3. Allows multiple stakeholder to participate in a Brainstorming session

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for one to save all kinds of idea origination source and collaborate concurrently with colleagues
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the display of the different tools can be overwhelming at first

It solves the issues of concurrent collaboration and is a repository of ideation
I am happy with the product and I would recommend it to others

It is more user-friendly compared to other Saas drawing products. I enjoyed the collaboration feature and predefined templates.

The only issue I had so far is the ERD imports. I couldn't import my existing MYSQL DB into lucid chart.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing an application requires a clear path and flow charts before the actual coding. Having something like lucid chart helped me create complex flow charts and application procedures.
It is also useful in infrastructure design. This way we know exactly how and where to deploy the application and if something needs to be changed in the future we'd know what would be affected. Like application updates or network changes.

What do you like best about the product?
The program was simple and easy to use. It included a number of helpful templates that make formatting and customization quick and easy. Notes and comments gave us the ability to communicate with colleagues for feedback in real time. The videos tutorial were a fantastic way to learn neat little tricks that helped our visual representation look different from we could achieve with other workflow tools.

I would like the undo to previous step option to be more advanced

It allowed me to share my knowledge with colleagues in other states. This enabled me to explore different visual scales.

What do you like best about the product?
The visual display of information as its easier to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
In complex graphs, it can be hard to get accurate imputs. The snapping at times will snap to places that are further away from the mouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve displays of lots of text in a more organized way. It allows multiple people to edit at the same time to populate space.

Obstacle 1: When I create an Org chart and establishing relationship flow with arrows, it would be nice if the arrows were dynamic. Let me explain:
When I create a flow (from leadership to lower level), I may start my lucid chart by flowing to the RIGHT.
Halfway through my chart, I may decide that I can position everything better if it was to flow to the LEFT.
Based on the position I placed my arrows, I HAVE TO REDO EVERY SINGLE ARROW ON THE CHART. THIS IS TIME COSTLY
Obstacle 2: After correcting dozens of fields with LC, I leave my desk and find every change has been reverted with no warning.
I decide to go into SF to manually change these fields.
Turns out, I was using special characters that SF doesn't use.
IT WOULD BE NICE IF LC COULD WARN ME OF THIS
