Very useful charting tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of icons as it relates to cloud computing systems diagrams. There are enough icons to be very complete at both low and high level of the technical depth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the cost. There are many features that are very neat such as the AWS integration, but the license per user per month is honestly pretty steep for a startup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building organization diagrams and systems design diagrams are the main components of functionality used. For these purposes it is by far the best tool I have used.
Lucid, the new way to collaborate
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing about Lucid is its flexibility there truly is something for everyone. Not to mention all of the integrations that seem to work flawlessly to help bring, not just teams together but teams that cross a grip of different business and tech functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I think should and could be improved is the ability to go back and forth from Chart to Sprak a bit easier or mor unform anyway rather than doing in import it would be great to switch with a click in both directions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Lucidchart I can better relay information visually to business and really include stakeholders in a more collaborative way where they can understand pain points that cause dev to take a bit longer than anticipated and also allows us to understand business pain points from the dev perspective.

Super worth get it.
Strong tool for visual diagramming

massive libraries of starter diagrams, toolkits, guides, etc. Robust set of shapes. Easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
learning curve took at bit, esp coming from using another competing toolset. Took some adjustment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visual diagramming process flows, data-engineering pipelines, and technical schematics. Diagrams get people on the same page

The downside to using Lucidchart is the resource constraints it holds on your computer.

Lucidchart is a great tool - I would recommend ensuring it's the right tool for you.
I use Lucidchart daily and prefer it to visio, however, I find the load performance can be slow

Overall, Lucidchart is intuitive. I appreciate the publish functionality that allows you to share a live, view-only web-based version.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience intermittent yet significant performance issues when trying to load Lucidchart. This has impacted my work and I would like to understand how to improve this going forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In-time review of process maps/diagrams using the publish functional allows the team to work collectively online without having to all use or be familiar with Lucidchart.

If you can, take advantage of the LinkedIn learning course for Lucidchart. It provides useful tips and will set you on your way to creating workflows, diagrams, and all other types of charts.
My go to product for diagramming and business documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart often makes me look great in meetings when I can take a lot of random thoughts and discussion and get it down on a diagram and help drive the discussions!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only issue I have from time to time is finding icons or shapes that I would think it should have (e.g. more Azure icons for instance). It would be nice if you could also save a 'favorites' group of icons that can be used across multiple boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business technology and processes mapping. Benefits have been realized in speed of ability to document and diagram even complex processes.
Incredible Chart Tool
What do you like best about the product?
This is an amazing tool to share architectural designs with your colleges perfect for DB and AWS architectural diagrams, one of the best features that i like is its hability to create, share and collab in drafts as well as the ability to organize your diagram. Almost forgot the tool to import the diagram from your DB is just a killer.
What do you dislike about the product?
i think there is room for improvement in the shapes used to depict tables as well as the usability to assign cardinality, although you can insert db types a typeahead would be much appreciated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve it to share and collab architectural solutions from DB to AWS, we also use it as a documentation reference, it makes meetings more productive due to the simplicity of its design.

Great for flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Lucid Chart to make flow charts to show customer journeys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish formatting the shape's sizes to keep uniform.

What do you like best about the product?
The variability and flexibility that the platform provides with regards to shapes, and creating visuals throughout. I use it with Google Docs/Sheets, etc. I would recommend it over its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it was a little more user-friendly in the beginning and could find more shapes, arrows, lines, etc. I also wish there was a little more of a tutorial in the beginning
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to visually show my ideas to potential team members and investors. I have not officially benefitted financially yet however, it's been able to attract potential investors to our project.
