Flexibility and being such a visual tool to cover a complex planning piece
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally you're moving objects around that you didn't intend to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM communication maps covering numerous journeys. This is the best way to do this planning. We'll be able to see overlaps & gaps within our current communication
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The layering element makes this a constructive way to explain journies & plan for longer-term strategies.
Best tool for ideation
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the software, and the wide range of available templates.
Also, the integration between LucidSpark and LucidChart is very helpful, including integrations with Slack and JIRA.

What do you dislike about the product?
For now there is nothing to dislike. It all works as you would expect as a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us in visualizing the ideas we have regarding a certain process and how to realize it in our Salesforce product. So we are all aligned on the same principles.
The only one I use
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart's UI allows for a clean, efficient and convenient way to quickly spin up block diagrams, flow charts and process workflows to communicate technical ideas with my team. Best feature is ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rarely, but sometimes, I'm looking for a specific diagrammatic icon andi need to go spelunking in their many volumes of pictograms to find what I want. Sometimes I shortcut that and upload it directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for prototyping ideas before beginning detailed electrical and mechanical design. I use it to diagram software blocks. I use it to diagram business processes for communication to the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It works great, and works even better the more you use it.
Perfectly fulfills my needs
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and integrates with both Google drive and Atlassian products
What do you dislike about the product?
the free tier could allow users to have multiple diagrams like sheers is a speadsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most obvious one is the integration with Jira and Confluence, making diagramming within tasks/Articles a breeze and straightforward to maintain
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you ever need it, their support is impressive
Great for Diagramming, Process Flows and Org Charts
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Chart is a very simple system to use, it has a wide range of tools and options to help with all diagramming needs as well as process flows and org charts. I particularly like using swim lanes. the system has plenty of handy guidance on how to use and is in my experience a better alternative to Visio. very easy to collaborate with others aswell
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about this product that I dislike. could be easier to transpose from other platforms, but thats minor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
diagramming, process flows and org charts. very easy to create, share, modify and lock
Easy to use, great for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Tool is easy to use even with no prior knowledge. Lots of features that allows for collaboration with team mates. Good for discussions, onboarding, projects etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. It was pretty straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used it for onboarding for newcomers. More interactive discussion. Good complement to standard remote onboarding.
Great for mulitple purposes in a church setting
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to move boxes around to show relationships. I also like the ability to add/rearrange/hide fields. I love the ability to force the page to print on one sheet of paper. Filling boxes with consistent colors also helps in the readability of the final chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm only two weeks into using it, so my complaints are more than likely my inexperience, but parts of the user interface don't seem intuitive. I can't find some formatting features that I think it has, like changing the shape of the boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to chart the audio/video path of all the components throughout the church. This will help in troubleshooting audio/video issues. Similarly, I am charting the routing of our entire network/Internet runs throughout the church campus. This also will help in troubleshooting. I am also using it to chart the organizational chart of who are church officers and I use the Role field to indicate whether the person needs to be a member, whether this is an elected or appointed position and the length of the term of the office. I'm sure I will find more uses, but these are pressing needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The more you play around with the interface, the more you will find useful features.
Rarely need the help function or "how to" videos - so intuitive !!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a fan of jumping in and playing with applications to testing their ease of use. Mind maps and org charts were SO EASY to create without pre-learning. I have used an alternate application that required me to view a tutorial before using its functionality, which did not work with my learning style. Lucidchart is a straightforward application with complex options to create various professional presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only challenge was (without watching videos or using help functions ) working out how to publish just the single tab on which I was working. After 3 minutes, I had solved my problem without having to watch a tutorial.
Hats off to a great product that I can also embed pictures and other file formats!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming mind maps, org charts, standard operating procedures. I have found the collaboration function helpful as well.
Our ability to work on the same document in real time and have a single point of truth is always a bonus when working in virtual teams.

Easy to use making process completion efficient and flexible
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the system in exporting or importing from other process software and it's easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. I'm relatively new to this process but found it quite easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can split many processes into smaller fragments and build them to join them or connect them as a broader picture. I am able to share these directly with my colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool to use and even if you've used other software, you can import them and use them making the process smooth.
Lucid is the Premium Package
What do you like best about the product?
If platforms such as Visio and Miro are the basic package for visual diagrams, Lucid is the premium package. Along with having the basic capabilities and shapes to create a flowchart or visual timeline, Lucid has a variety of special symbols and characters, UI containers and widgets, and even an option to drop in an image of a shape to incorporate your own unique characters into the diagram. The top taskbar is set up similar to Word, for ease of changing text, fonts, color, alignment, and more. It is an easily-used drag and drop system, with helpful tutorials for more technical diagramming and the ability to share with other Lucid users (for editing or viewing only).
What do you dislike about the product?
As Lucid has been an improvement from other platforms I've used, I have not encountered any gaps or any dislikes yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Particularly during this widespread work-from-home period, I like that Lucid allows interactive sessions for multiple team members with the link to provide real-time input on mind-maps, brainstorming bucket diagrams, and more.
