Easy App to Create Charts
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart is an easy program that you can access and immediately start without any instruction. I dislike reading instructions and so appreciate how self-explanatory the program is. There are many templates you can use. It is easy to make sure the chart aligns and everything is consistent.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to see the entire page, and if your chart is centered without looking at a print preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used LucidChart recently to create organization charts for grant submissions. It was quick and easy, and I could share with others to make changes.

Very simple and user-friendly. I hadn't used anything like this before but found it very simple and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little dear however if it is something you may need on a regular basis, it is worth the price as it save you so much time and effort. Ideal for beginners like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using them to help process map at my new job, managers have been very impressed and it hasn't even taken me half the time they think it has.
Lucidchart Makes Diagramming a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes diagramming a breeze! I have truly enjoyed using Lucidchart to construct numerous value-added visualizations. As a longtime user of Visio, I felt that Lucidchart is more intuitive and offers more templates to help turn ideas into visualizations much more quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes about Lucidchart. As stated above, I have been very impressed with its feature richness. Would it be possible in a future release to import files from PowerPoint?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am utilizing Lucidchart for diagramming, creating ideations, mindmaps, and process flow diagrams that help diagram different process steps, which adds value by helping identify non-value-added process steps or waste.
Good product for flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive nature of the software is valuable; examples include auto-labeling decision arrows aligning shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to create an automatic key.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more easily able to view processes that were otherwise more complex to understand. Using Lucidchart helps to identify gaps in processes as you follow the flow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If there is a pen tool to be able to draw custom shapes
Lucidchart works great
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating things like flowcharts. They look neat and clean and require little effort. I was able to tailor it exactly the way I wanted it to look without making any compromises
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike is the formatting of the grid, but I'm able to work around that easily so it's not really much of a disadvantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create flow charts and everything Google Drive has to offer and Word are not capable of making these in a seamless and easy way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It took no training or tutorial &I am no expert in using computer programs, just an average user
Really handy tool to make diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable thing about Lucid to my team and me is it easy to use to make a diagram quickly out of basic shapes and share it with a team. All created or shared charts will be shown in my documents. So it's easy to find them. Auto saving is great as well - you won't lose it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is annoying to wait several seconds when lucid charts open in the new browser's tab. But overall, I don't see it has any other issues. Probably I'll find them later on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is difficult to explain the process or high-level vision of what is happening on the project while you and your team are working remotely. You do not have a whiteboard to draw things, but you have Lucid charts. In this case, while we have a zoom call, we can quickly share our understanding in simple diagrams.
Otherway, to do knowledge transfer or keep an overall understanding of basic things/processes, I still need an opportunity to check and share them with others. It can be workflows, an architect view of a developing platform for the project, process diagrams, and org charts for the whole company.

It's really easy to make complex diagrams with a variety of shapes and share with my collaborators.
The abundance of templates is also extremely helpful: I don't have to start from scratch for any new charts.
The integration with Slack, etc makes it easy to integrate into my daily workflow.
