Lucidchart Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I definitely appreciated all the capabilities that lucidchart provided while I was trying to show the flow & process behind an idea to my fellow product manager and developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that for enterprise you need to pay alot more for use. When we hit a certain amount of people they required us to upgrade to an expensive plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to utilize lucidchart to show flows to others on the team. While we had it, it was a great way to find any blindspots we might have missed.
Excellent online tool to make diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and comfortable to work on it. I love the fact that it is based on the cloud and there is no need to install any software on my computer and I can also assign other collaborators or members of my team remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need a good internet connection because sometimes I have lost the work done by unexpected failures of Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a very useful tool to carry everything organized at work, especially if you are a developer since it is possible to create flow diagrams and class diagrams with great ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use this software a lot and I was really impressed by how easy it is to make complex diagrams. It is totally in the cloud and all jobs will always be available at any time.
A Not Complete, Yet Easy to Use and Powerful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The largest competitor of Lucid Chart requires the user to download software to get started, whereas, Lucid chart has the option to be almost entirely browser based. As a user, I find this incredibly powerful and a positive user experience. Lucid Chart's ease of access and use is perhaps its strongest trait. It is something any individual needing to build out diagrams should have in their toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to Visio, perhaps Lucid Chart's main competition, the look and feel of the product is lacking a bit. I find myself using Visio a little more often due to the clean look and feel of that application. With Lucid chart, the export options are also a little weak compared to alternatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The uses of Lucid Chart span throughout most business problems, for a diagram can be created in most situations to provide visual context to a problem, idea or solution. Perhaps the most often uses I find myself going to Lucid Chart for are Entity Relationship Diagrams and Use Case Diagrams. Creating charts like these is a breeze in Lucid Chart, and businesses are provided with powerful visualizations of their needs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a light weight product that provides the tools necessary, I highly recommend Lucid Chart. It provides the user with a quick and easy way to create various business diagrams, from mock ups to ERDs, Lucid Chart is incredibly powerful. If you are an enterprise who relies heavily on Microsoft Products, then I'd consider looking at Visio as well as an alternative. Both products have their pros and cons.
Diagram to organize your projects
What do you like best about the product?
The way to plan with this application is totally different, ingenious, the organization of the projects is much more visual, you clearly determine the responsibilities of each one and at what moment they must intervene during the execution of the project, an online alternative that contains a large amount of elements and ways to make your diagrams, you can also do collaborative work and it integrates well with other common applications such as Word and Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could add the function of working offline, so as not to depend so much on internet connectivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given that during last year we had many training projects and online presence in different cities of the country, we had to organize all our activities in a great workflow that helped us to visualize all important aspects step by step and those responsible for each of those responsible, that facilitated the dynamics of organization and implementation of training courses and saved us time, unnecessary travel of staff and money.
Lucidchart is orders of magnitude better than the alternative
What do you like best about the product?
Hyper intuitive UI makes it easy to create and adjust flow charts like no other program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much. Seems like they might be cramming in other use cases that aren't as functional, but none of those changes have taken away from the core use we have for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating user experience or data flows (I'm a product manager).
Great Visualizations, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to pick up and immediately start creating useful, aesthetically pleasing diagrams. I am just starting to learn more of its advanced capabilities, such as hooking up to live data feeds. Incredibly useful from a operations analytics perspective
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing immediately at the moment. It would be helpful to have API connections to other data sources outside of gsheets/excel for live data feeds
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for great visualization of process flows. It can be used to give a real-time analysis of process flows in your organizations funnel
Maps, Chart, Graphics and more
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of the platform and the connectivity. Be able to share charts with other members of my team is a huge deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning Curve. Although the support documents are great, it is difficult to learn if you've never used a similar platform before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create flowcharts, timelines, mind maps, and graphics is a great way to share information with my team. It has also made creating charts for clients easier as I can produce them during a Zoom meeting and share them with the client directly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a much easier platform to use and integrate than Visio and it costs a lot less.
Lucid Chart is awesome for planning automation campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use when planning out complex plans and presenting them to clients and internal clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the amount of shape options and some of the text formatting within shapes gets wonky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to plan automation campaigns.
Total efficiency, the best diagrams are with Lucidchart
What do you like best about the product?
I consider that for an educational environment LucidChart is totally effective, it contains innumerable amounts of things that you can use as tools to make flow diagrams, organization charts, real-time collaboration, mental maps, ERD, UML, chat and group comments, among others. cocas You can also create conferences with very attractive materials making them didactic. All this being very intuitive to use
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is that the free version has little functionality, I think it is very limited compared to the payment. This will cause other new users to test it, deviate and take it into account to look for other software because they will not want to risk paying without being sure that it is the software they need
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many benefits that we can get to this software, save time and keep everything in order are some of the most important and we had been looking for a long time. The truth is that thanks to how easy it is to handle Lucidchart, we develop everything more quickly and without neglecting other pending tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a software completely full of tools that allows you to save time. Collaboration in real time is extremely beneficial. There are many advantages it offers us so I prefer it among others in the paid version more than the free one
